The main issue about what Funko did isn’t because they put the same thing in at home boxes, or that it makes them less valuable or that fun days is less special. The main thing that made me mad was that they lied about how many were made. It would be like if you bought something on Funko and they said you get a limited Funko dvd with your purchase but then they never send the limited dvd to anyone who purchased. If they started lying about piece counts then what’s the point of putting a low number if they’re are actually way more. The only reason they’d put a low count at that point is so that people think they are getting something better and so they can sell more
I 100% agree with you! The issue is that funko pops labeled as LE 250 from the in person fundays, showed up in the at home boxes as LE 2,000 or higher. IF they were originally labeled as LE with the count of all of them together, it wouldn't have been an issue like it is now. 😊

So many disappointing things happened with this event. I enjoy you looking at the positives but there’s so many people who got jip’d through trades or FOMO purchases. Also, the HOtD upcoming reveals is a major let down for those (like me) who collected the NFT set. NFTs usually are meant to be exclusive figure molds but this upcoming public drop with chases has Aemond and Viserys looking very similar to the NFTs 😢
I absolutely agree that people who made secondary purchases and trades were the ones that got affected the most by all of this. So many people spent hundreds, some thousands, or traded equal LE's for others and this happened. I was also very upset when I saw that Aemond and Viserys chase from the funko upcoming leaks that were shared. It makes me worry because the NFT physical exclusives are meant to be special & with the difficulty of getting them, most people will now go for those chase variants rather than the NFT ones. It will be interesting to see where the values land on those NFT physicals later in hand though!
Honestly if it wasn't for Space Kook showing up in the at home boxes as a 3,000 piece, I would have been 100% happy with my trade. Definitely a bummer, but I'm truly happy with my haul in the end. Especially with that Anakin! 😊

I got a decent deal so I didn't overpay, as it could be worse, but it's just frustrating. Worst part is that funko def doesn't care, or they can't fix this brutal mistake. Or maybe it wasn't a mistake? I don't think it was, I think they're just trying to cover their tracks. The mindset of buying a pop you think is only 250 pieces in the world/country versus buying one that's 2,500 is wildly different. Ones so much more limited and therefore worth so much more money. Just an embarrassment from funko really!

I truly believe it makes zero sense for Funko to not have known about this. How can they not be aware that a figure that was intended to be LE 250 also has online versions at LE 3,000? There is just no way. I find it very hard to believe when they are the ones producing them, but honestly we will never know the real truth. I still think that some really awesome freddys came out from this fundays (both in person & online boxes), but this situation is a big mess & I am curious to see what Funko does about it in the end. I'm still trying to get my hands on the Mike wheeler and Ron weasley. Have hopper on the way, Ted lasso, also pulled the stormtrooper and Dwight at home. Some great stuff, but definitely frustrating. At least I didn't grab the captain America! Would be very mad if I payed that much

I think it’s sad when people say they aren’t bummed out because they didn’t pay a big price and they didn’t make trades. I just wish other people would get bummed out for others more like I do although it can be depressing at times to always get bummed out when others get bummed out but I’m still happy that I can put myself in others shoes and feel mad for them and want to see things change for the ones that got scammed. I just wish more people were like that in life where it doesn’t matter if it happened to them or not but they still feel bummed because it happened to anyone at all.
In the video I mentioned that I myself wasn't super bummed about this all, outside of my trade results because I ended up happy with everything I got in the end. I absolutely am bummed out for those that bought these figures from the secondary market just for this to happen. It is 100% disappointing as I said in the video. 😊
