Falcon Crest was one of my favorites ❤. Loved Angela Channing and her low key manipulative character. Great cast! The estate, cars, and San Francisco setting were always part of the appeal. David Selby was on original DARK S
HADOWS and had a cameo in later Johnny Depp DARK SHADOWS film along with several others from the original DARK SHADOWS TV show.
Low key?? That’s not a term I’d ever use for Angela.
@@paulvoorhies8821 Angela was a velvet steamroller! 👸. So subtlety throwing looks and darts! But always believing everyone was entitled to HER opinion! Compared to Alexis on DYNASTY, Angela Channing was low key, manipulative and always in charge!
@@rick0e295 FC is my favorite show of the 80e, particularly 81-87. The last 2 seasons were unwatchable. But what a great ensemble cast. FC was set apart from the rest of the prime time soaps by its often rye humor. Even the opening theme song is perfect! And, to be fair, next to Alexis, anyone is subtle! I miss Angela, and Maggie, and Melissa, and Lance, and Richard, Julia, and EMMA among others. My favorite season was 3. My favorite episode the finale of Season 2 - Climax- the shooting at the manor.
@@paulvoorhies8821 The final episode was perfect with Angela talking to her father and addressing the future of FALCON CREST. I made a collage of the house with Angela, Lance, and others standing in front with a Lincoln Town Car.(could not find Angela's Mercedes Limo). Still hanging in my home! Also was fortunate enough to have visited Fi Lo Li (Carrington manse) in Woodside, California. If possible see it!
@@rick0e295 I’ve been to both, though of course, I was more excited about Spring Mountain. I even have a bottle of wine from 1981, with a pic of the house on it. Got it off of EBay decades ago!

Falcon Crest in 1984 on Friday nights got competition from NBC showing my all time favorite Miami vice which was more cooler with Don Johnson as Sonny Crockett
FC still did better in the ratings that year.
@@paulvoorhies8821Falcon Crest also ran 4 seasons longer and made 100+ episodes more than that overrated paint by numbers pedestrian cop show with the tacky clothes and painfully dated music.
