Yeah I hate that trope. Like how are you expecting someone to remember you from like 10 years ago. Just tell them who you are but instead they always want the guy to be some sort of mind reader to remember them. Another thing I’ve noticed with the trope is that for some reason the girl always remembers the guy from his childhood like 10 years ago and the guy doesn’t remember the girl

All of Kaede's very, VERY, dedicated hard work really paid off. She may not have married Arata, but she will thanks to Arata remembering the time capsule and the two truely reuniting after so long and remembering the promise they made. So it's definitely a happy ending for her, for both of them that they both could remember their promise and vow to get married in the future.
But I figured Kaede was Kanadian by that name, and the fact her name was Canadian but with a K was pretty funny to me.

I think the marriage registration form was just a way to make him remember about his promise with the FMC about the time capsule. I mean, it did contain a handmade marriage registration form they made all those years ago

Arata got played like a fiddle. Kaede definitely planned everything with her mother. It’s kinda scary tbh and I don’t think it was a coincidence that she was his gaming buddy. This story reminded me of the story where the FMC confessed to the Mc but it was a dare and the Mc rejected her confession then from the next day she started chasing the MC with a marriage registration and you guessed Mc ultimately gave in and signed the certificate. There was nothing Arata could do because he had already lost but it was nice that he remembered the promise but don’t make promises you know you will forget otherwise things might become ugly

Nice video today as always guys! I always love starting my mornings off by watching/listening to the mangas while I’m getting ready for work. Also…this is totally random but am I the only one who thinks that voice actor sound VERY similar to Max Mittelman; the guy who is the English voice actor for animes. ( from Your lie in April, Saitama from One Punchman, King from Seven Deadly Sins🩶 and so on). This guy is one of my favorite VA for the mangas on this channel! Anyways keep up the great work, I always look forward to a new manga everyday!!

The girl is a giant red flag. Seriously, she can't go a single fucking day without trying to gaslight him into saying yes to her marriage proposal to the point that I'd call it harassment more than anything. Not to mention she basically manipulated everything so she'd win from their time together in an RPG to real life. And on top of that, gets upset that he doesn't recognize her when she never gave him any indication on who she and became a completely different person between childhood and high school.
