Iam just from mara normads road trip to Uganda back to Kenya virtually now am back here another road trip virtually to lake elis this epic trip and educative
Wow! Amazing solo drive, Mt Kenya is always amazing and gorgeous with so many memories to make that was awesome but you missed one cool place next time before you get to lake Ellis there's a diversion that heads to Roadhead from there take a walk to the best scenic places waterfall then caves 💥💥💥💥 the place is so beautiful
Looking at this trip and I don't think one can undertake this without a capable 4x4, especially during the rainy season. I wonder whether compact suv's like the rav 4, mazda cx5 can undertake this challenging terrain? Or should just play it safe?
I am realizing the current generation have become their own tourists. These places were for wazungus just a decade ago. Tourism is going local and resilient.
😂 I see this after watching Wokabi on Pamurick show explaining his exit from Carnversations. Dude mentioned this exact same car and travelling to lake Ellis. Kwani mnaanza show pamoja?

Awesome content man.

Magnet hill is something else 😂
5:20 to 6:00 how steep was the climb? The shift is notable from the exhaust smoke intermittently..
It pretty steep. Thats why they put a concrete slab.
I upshifted prematurely, I had to downshift
You could have camped there but there is always next time.I did know there is route to Mt Kenya using Embu road.Good work sir !
Thank you,
Yes, I'll do a separate camping trip.
Beautiful
Amazing trip! How much is the entry fee, and camping rates as well?
Around 1500 for entry and camping

Play it safe, many have ruined their cars attempting it.
If it has proper tyres with 4wd, it might make it.

Kenya has a lot of amazing places. Traveling let's us appreciate it more.
On the magnet hill, can I use the subaru legacy BP5 or it must be an SUV for ground clearance?
You need ground clearance and sufficient power to all wheels.
a 4x4 is highly recommend.
🔥🔥🔥!!!
🙌🙌

😂😂😂 that was a different car.
If you want a successful adventure go for 4x4 machine
Are There animals
Yes but on the lower altitudes. Where there's thick forest.
At the right time, you could meet a bunch of elephants.
