What I find fascinating about this form is that it's achieved the opposite way that the first form is. Super Saiyan uses negative emotions as a catalyst, hate, aggression anger. Super Saiyan 4 is triggered by love and compassion. The will to protect those you care about.
It would make sense that SSJ4 has a calm theme. To achieve SSJ4, you have to emotionally overcome the Golden Ōzaru form, calm its relentless rampage, and pull that outward energy back inside.
It’s coming out of primal instincts to destroy and to bring back your humanity to calm the beast inside you, to use it’s power to it’s fullest use in the coming fights, the true nature of a sayian brought to surface and in a way mastered those instincts

Take super's power scale combined it with the story of Gt and there ya go. That easy to remake it. I'm sure it'll boost ratings if so. Hard to believe people don't see that just cuz GT ain't cannon. In a way, I kinda love that SSJ4 was the epitome of power in GT and went out on top. As much as I would've loved to see it more, the peace of the music showing it's basically primal rage harnessed and put to full use paired with the history of SSJ forms in general...it feels like it's the Saiyans not reaching the power level of gods, but regaining a birthright of sorts. Like something only the last two full-blooded Saiyans in the universe could hope to achieve...and they do it right before they reach the end of their prime.
Cuz these two pretty much redefine what saiyans are . Golden ozaru is the clash of saiyan nature and human nurture , Ssj4 is the victory of the latter , surpassing all previous saiyans completely in nature as well as power . " The mightiest of warriors is born when this Golden ozaru gains a human heart , Super Saiyan 4 , who combines reason with tremendous power " . Ssj4 solidifies both Goku and Vegeta as the strong saiyans with human hearts they've become .
This is what ssj4 really is conquering your primal rage while adding super saiyan into it and making something completely stronger and new once the rage has been calmed we now get a peaceful melody rather then loud heavy metal playing something completely different then what we’ve been getting since the begging of super saiyan 1 to 3 instead of tapping into your rage you calm it and make something far stronger
Dragon ball gt the good good times. I love how tis Song fits perfectly the pure essence of ssj4; the ssj, ssj2 and 3 are motivated by rage, but this reminds the peace after the storm... your edit Is amazing and well done.
I was expecting another metal mix but there is such a miracle. The most powerful theme I've ever heard. I don't think there is a more beautiful theme than this...which fits ssj4 perfectly.
Listening to the beginning with no context is scary lol it subverts your expectations you think it’s all scary but then turns into the melancholic comforting gt theme

I loved SS4. It was like a different kind of transformation - not an extension of SSJ, that caps out at 3, but a return to the true ancestral primal saiyan form. Perfection.
Although the point is that its more human in personality while fitting a saiyan more in design . U know its ironic how Ssj4 is the most appreciated thing about it yet i'd say it's one of the most downplayed things too with " oh it has a cool design yeah that's it " .
Except for the Dragon ball super stans who believe that hair dye is awesome and deny anything that you say is bad, not that I'm agreeing with them. I hate the hair dye forms and calling them god's, ssj4 is the true saiyan god and is the best designed.
Baby arc overall is one of the best stories too . And yes the final form for ssj and especially Goku could not be more fitting than this , summarising the whole character from start to this point in one transformation .

This is how he reached the stage of *Super Saiyan 4* He's Goku, a Saiyan, a father, a grandfather and an hero.

In a way, I kinda love that SSJ4 was the epitome of power in GT and went out on top. As much as I would've loved to see it more, the peace of the music showing it's basically primal rage harnessed and put to full use paired with the history of SSJ forms in general...it feels like it's the Saiyans not reaching the power level of gods, but regaining a birthright of sorts. Like something only the last two full-blooded Saiyans in the universe could hope to achieve...and they do it right before they reach the end of their prime.
Cuz these two pretty much redefine what saiyans are . Golden ozaru is the clash of saiyan nature and human nurture , Ssj4 is the victory of the latter , surpassing all previous saiyans completely in nature as well as power .
" The mightiest of warriors is born when this Golden ozaru gains a human heart , Super Saiyan 4 , who combines reason with tremendous power " . Ssj4 solidifies both Goku and Vegeta as the strong saiyans with human hearts they've become .
This melody is so beautiful. It reminds me of all the beautiful scenes that happened in dragon ball.

This is what ssj4 really is conquering your primal rage while adding super saiyan into it and making something completely stronger and new once the rage has been calmed we now get a peaceful melody rather then loud heavy metal playing something completely different then what we’ve been getting since the begging of super saiyan 1 to 3 instead of tapping into your rage you calm it and make something far stronger
Dragon ball gt the good good times. I love how tis Song fits perfectly the pure essence of ssj4; the ssj, ssj2 and 3 are motivated by rage, but this reminds the peace after the storm... your edit Is amazing and well done.

I loved SS4. It was like a different kind of transformation - not an extension of SSJ, that caps out at 3, but a return to the true ancestral primal saiyan form. Perfection.

Except for the Dragon ball super stans who believe that hair dye is awesome and deny anything that you say is bad, not that I'm agreeing with them.
I hate the hair dye forms and calling them god's, ssj4 is the true saiyan god and is the best designed.
Baby arc overall is one of the best stories too . And yes the final form for ssj and especially Goku could not be more fitting than this , summarising the whole character from start to this point in one transformation .
