@willyOAM Hey man, your sounding better hope all is well with you. So I just stumbled across this and would really appreciate some links to the reports you are referencing. Can you please share the link for the report that you were reading? Also do you have the info on what articles “y’all” were speaking of specifically? It would be very helpful….And thank you! I hesitate to say to much without reading the full story but let me just throw this in. Almost ALL of the munitions, equipment, etc that Ukraine has received is and will be “secondhand” OR have a lot of the tech stripped away. There’s everything from older versions of the Javelin to expired versions being supplied. Same with the Lgt Vehicles. Mraps are sent in half working order, Bradley’s sent without active armor. (Which I did hear they are going to get some sent over, for what that’s worth) So yeah if you could provide some information that would be awesome! Take care my friend! As always, Thank You!!!! W/ Love and Respect from the U.S.
RUSSIS HAS ALREADY WON!! Russia is DEMONSTRABLY A SUPERIOR SUPERPOWER vs the USA and nato! We’ve been exposed our equipment is Junk our command officers are incompetent stuck in ww2 doctrine.. besides Bro ain’t you supposed to be letting your vocal cords heal? We’ve been found out to be frauds bullies whom sorbs a fortune on hardware that is absolute junk in comparison to the Russian hardware, every country not in combined west is laughing at how weak and pathetic we really are. Many merc’s are not programmed and when they finally put together enough evidence nato is literally weaker than Russia and watching others in Ukrainian military being murdered by their own people, they are going to bug out! This solider x is a wee bit deluded .. nowhere in the west has competent military educational institutions to teach what the Russians are perfecting C6ISR.. the USA has technology to fight C4ISR but lacks any institutional means of training command officers. The tactics being forced on the poor Ukrainian soldiers by NATO morons whom could NEVER successfully fight a Russia in a land war is just one more example of how we really are “the empire of feminine emotional liars”
Australian government has thrown Assange to the wolves, I would'nt expect them to do anything for this soldier either. He needs to understand their priority is to follow America's agenda not to support people that get in their way.
Exactly - the things soldier X is so shocked by are exactly what I expected was going on. It's status quo for how we operate. If we ever actually gave a sh** - how could we time and time again LIE with giant smiles about how successful we have been, while we leave every place we go far more utterly broken than it ever could have been if we didn't go in. 4 stars 🤩 smiling all the way to that board seat and Swiss bank account lol - meanwhile our translators and selfless helpers are left to die in the hellhole we made.
Regardless of what one thinks of Russia or China; heads routinely roll when people f*ck up in those countries. Western nations, most of all Anglo ones; the amount of corruption, incompetence that's just tolerated as part of doing business by the powers that be these days is staggering. If this proxy war was 30 years ago, NATO would have replaced most of the AFU command by now, and a great deal of those booted would likely be awaiting trial. Though even back then the bozos back home whom miscalculated would keep their careers.
There is always an absence of accountability. Western systems for the most part have been the most effective at providing accountability. During war, that system falters. But, rarely does is devolve to the standards of authoritarian governments.
They are acountable. They would not dare to bite their evil lords. Screw the people and gave nothing to fear from the justice system, yes. No accountability there. Not ethics that withhold them. Should have feared the good Lord. They will regret the way psychos do.
And you can see why the AFU treats him and his friends as the useful idiots they are. They'll send them back to the frontlines again, just like the many other brigades he spoke off that have been completely wiped out.
@HeadHunter89LF Many Australians do. He States facts wrapped in some kind of Drama. This is the way Australians communicate amongst each other. Willy is the same.
he lives in utter idealism geopolitically as well. His take on Russia and Putin is fuelled entirely by western press hopium headlines. Economically and Politically, we are the ones whom need to play it very safe. Asia, China in particular; have taken up all the slack caused by sanctions and then some. Bet he thinks Russian supermarkets have bare aisles and breadlines too.
@@anasevi9456true. I don't understand either one of them. Do they think China is going to attack Australia? Any warmongering I see is coming from the US and NATO.
Poor bastard. He really doesn’t understand what this war is about. Of course the embassy won’t help him. The last thing they want is more bad pr for the war.
Yep. If you are there as a civilian or send by your nation. But if you choose to serve another nation, even if it is allowed, you fall under their authority and legal for the time you signed to serve under their flag. As I understood. May differ per nation. If I walked for a coutry, it was always them to pull me out. As a civilian, I could call on any embassy of choise if I had their passport. Got to study law closely before you go serve another country.
Imagine thinking that the way you do things the way everyone else does them too. If you've ever served, you know guys who CONSTANTLY talk about "that's not the way we did it at Regiment" or "we never did it this way at Stewart". That's within the SAME Army. So going from Australia to Eastern Europe and thinking that "our way is better" is incredibly naive. It was labeled "the most corrupt country in Europe" for a long time for a reason, why the hell would he think their Army is somehow separate from that? Come on bro. You F***ed around, and you're finding out.
In today's propaganda nobody notices that. Remember how all news and concerns about nazi and corruption evaporates after some point. If you open your eyes and look closely, siding with Ukraine, at least THAT MUCH, when politicians daring to say "i don't care what my voters think... ", will become much harder. Otherwise it's easy milking those tax paying dummies and people like X is more eager to went there to fight. Win win for MIC, if you hide information a little and exaggerated virtue
@@lukebruce5234 I did see a video showing Russian actually using them but in as mobile artillery pieces. Russian tank guns tend to be adapted to allow them to be used as indirect fire support. They tend to be used in small groups and they don't even bother to put in a tank commander. It makes a lot of sense in an artillery war. But the claim that Russia used them as MBTs is stupid.
Mr X is interesting to listen to, but I find he contradicts himself quite a bit. On one hand, he says Ukraine is suffering high casualties / reduced combat effectiveness, and in the next breath, the AFU can make a breakthrough soon. Putin has no support in Russia, yet there's no sign of any mutinies, and the Russians remain a cohesive fighting force. Western armies are suffering from a lack of competency, yet they'll turn it around in a few months if they implement x,y & z. Which is it ?
and Putin has like what 84% approval ratings and likely 10 %of (16%) the none Putin support is because they think hes to soft that he doesn't just level Ukraine and so on
Which is it? PR stunt aimed to try garner support through means of government and private funding as well as a recruitment drive of additional fighting men given the large number of casualties.
man, imagine putting your life on the line and seeing your friends die in an unwinnable war just because you think Putin wants to put jews in the oven and China wants to take Australia.
yeah and the same country you join(not your own country) to put your life for is the one that threats Jews bad ,has azovs and so on and in their parlament (Ukraine)and so on that do war crimes (kills POV's we all have seen the films of uke kills Russian POV's) and is the worlds most corrupt country (Ukraine) and so on and then not fulfill contracts (pay the soldiers/mercs) and then kill their own mercs/soldiers so many shit that is wrong with Ukraine and still want to go and fight for that Corrupt Government (Ukraine) that bans listening and playing Russians songs, talking in Russia ,and ban oposition partys (to zelensky) and band all tv media except one the government's own TV channel ,, and then think your (solider X) words matter LOL
Lets be clear, Russia has always destroyed the side that wants to put jews in ovens. They are why the allies won the European theater of WW2. The west are the ones on the side of the Neo Nazis.
This guy doesnt make sense he says his life is in danger for blowing the whistle but is now doing this interview. The only way to help himself is to reveal his identity because obviously those that threatened him know who he is
That was kind of my thoughts too. He disclosed enough info in the first 15 minutes that anyone that knows this guy would be able to dox him quite easily. There can't be that many guys over there that match his description. That is, of course, assuming he's telling the truth.
exactly. So it's bullshit. No one was ever happy in the military. If he knows too much about the offensive, I can imagine that it's a bit harder to get out now. As far as Russian double agents sabotaging the effort - that sounds very possible. Polish mafia? Ok, now he sounds like something Russians would fabricate to achieve two goals at once: Less foreign volunteers and putting Poles into bad light

@@colinmarshall6634 which part are you doubting other than just buddy here being paranoid and thinking that someone is trying to murder him? that there are problems with corruption? that some of the ukrainian commanders are crooked and doing sketchy shit? everyone already knows that such things happen, you don't need buddy over here telling you that water is wet and that fire is hot. it's something that happens in every military, so imagine in a corrupt country like ukraine. the only issue is that buddy just isn't a serious person and seems to greatly overestimate his own role and the role of his little koala and kangaroo kingdom in this whole thing. buddy is out here talking about big plans to i guess have the government paying him to go around ukraine checking up on equipment or whatever and installing some system to track everything down.. in addition to also training the dudes on how to use the equipment or just outright have him and his buddies operating the hardware themselves. in addition to also having him being the main person on the ground to link up between the government of kangaroo land and the ukrainians to investigate traitors and corruption and war crimes, which he claims to have evidence of in the form of quote "papers that show that we didn't get paid".. slight difference between some retarded corrupt soviet-minded vladimirovitch commanders pocketing his 300 buck paycheck and actually having evidence of those guys secretly working for the reds or systematically blowing the brains of captured mobilized russian cavemen or selling their patriot launcher on the black market to the sinaloa cartel or the ayatollahs or the islamic state or whatever.. pretty sure we would have heard about that if that was happening and wouldn't need x-man over here to reveal everything. but i mean the dude is literally talking about reaching out to intelligence agencies and "damn, i'm not sure if the defense secretary is aware of what i have been saying, but his office hasn't been responding to my genius ideas that could change the entire war, and neither has the CIA! damn, very disappointing!".. literally talking about how "yep yep, we have really strong and powerful plans, but nobody is listening to us" and talking about him and his buddies having this genius plan about how they could break up russia and deal with the nuclear weapons being spread across the new vodka republics that would pop up everywhere as a result of a breakdown of the main soviet commie motherland but "sorry i can't get into the details though".. that kinda gives you an idea of the kind of specimen that we are dealing with here. so buddy has two big issues here. the first is that he seems to think that if him and his buddies just give one or two more interviews, that will guarantee that they will be given the seat that they deserve at the table with the leader of the free world and the various departments of defense and intelligence agencies and everyone else that is currently deciding the next steps in this conflict. and his second issue is that he doesn't seem to really understand numbers, so just like with other such people that have this issue, any number above like a million or whatever they can imagine just becomes some large number in their heads. hundreds of millions? billions? trillions? i don't know, all the same, basically gazillions. and that prevents him from being able to grasp the numbers involve and put them into context to get an idea of just how much his kangaroo koala land has contributed to the assistance program. yeah, if it was the united states, it would be worth putting together a system to track the stuff, and perhaps even a system that ukrainians could use to also track stuff from other countries through the same system. but the idea that koala nation with their few hundreds of millions of dollar or whatever amount they said was sent to ukraine by the kangaroos would suddenly send dingos to ukraine to track down those handful of vehicles is pretty ridiculous. a good chunk of them are probably destroyed by now if they were sent months ago, and that's just from the nature of warfare in such an environment. so yeah, properly training the ukrainians, no issues with that. go ahead, by all means. but tracking the peanuts and crumbs is just ridiculous. i have no idea what kangaroo land sent to ukraine, but if it's a few hundred millions and they sent a bunch of actual vehicles in between the artillery shells and other ammunition and other kinds of crap, i can't imagine that it would have been more than a few dozen vehicles, otherwise the numbers just don't add up. i remember reading for instance that other weak and pathetic countries like justine trudo canuckland sent something like four tanks.. yep, you heard that right. four. can be counted on one hand even after suffering a table saw accident that took out a finger. so that gives a pretty good idea of the kind of numbers that we are dealing with here. nobody cares about setting up a whole system or whatever to track a four tanks that can be wiped out in a single afternoon if they get sent to attack right on the front.. would be a waste of time and energy. so yeah, basically this whole interview didn't really tell anyone anything new. everyone knows that corruption is happening and that ukaine is hopelessly corrupt, but we put that aside because they had been invaded by retarded bloodthirsty russian cavemen and because it was an emergency and the right thing to do as opposed to little bullshit weak limp-wristed euro-leftist style bureaucrat paperwork or whatever these two are complaining about here. the issue is what to do moving forward if the goal is to get ukraine to liberate their entire country, because that would require a bunch of extra hundreds of billions easily, and then it would be worth tracking. but just a single sad pathetic country like kangaroo land or canuckland sending four tanks and a few pairs of socks? nah.. not even worth talking about. but i think buddy here needs to take a break and go home or something for a while, because clearly the pressure is getting to him or something. he is becoming paranoid and imagining all kinds of crazy plots and stories about shadowy figures wanting to murder him and everything. hell, a break would be good for him no matter how you look at it because if people are indeed trying to murder him, then it would be pretty good for him to get out of ukraine and go back with the kangaroos for a while or something. maybe even be able to go in person to talk to the government to share his genius plans that will change the war, right?
Dude! Willy! Your voice man! I can hear it! So happy you are doing better! I can literally see it in your face! Good job my Aussie brother! Just awesome to see your progress. Keep up the good work (and also excellent reporting)

I suppose that why he's over there fighting. Defending 'democracy' and the so called 'international rules based order'. Idealism and naivety lead him to this point.
Unfortunately, I have only one piece of advice for this man. When my grandfather participated in the attack on Russia in WW2 as a member of the Devil's Division "Domobran" he said that they took all his bullets and gave them to the machine gunner and left the other soldiers only one bullet each, with the words: this is for you so you don't get caught alive. Grandfather realized that this was not going anywhere and deserted. He surrendered to the communists, survived the Way of the Cross from Bleiburg and was spared. Until the end of his life, he worked as a keeper of poisonous snakes at the Institute of Immunology, and thanks to his decision, I exist today.
Actually that was 369 "Vrazja" regiment. After surrender at Stalingad, they raised 369. Division with the same name. But i agree with you....best way this guy to save his life is to surrender to Russians.
If he will be lucky to get to bad Russians. I think there are pretty good chances that good Ukrainians won't pay poor fella with shekels but with lead...

@1:26:00 I'd like to point out that his sentiment of 'Have Russia as a part of the free world' was how things could have gone up until about 2008. Since then the push to integrate Georgia resulted in a war and started pushing Russia towards China. TL:DR; The West has forced Russia to work with China if it wants to maintain its sovereignty. If you don't think this is a fair assessment then consider how the US would react if Mexico and Canada tried to join a Russian and Chinese backed military alliance.
Personally I’d be for the China alliance in that case for the same reasons I support NATO expansion today. If the US threatened to annex Canada or Mexico, those free nations would have the right to seek protection. Since we don’t want a world where Canada and Mexico have to have their own nukes (nor Japan nor Poland). I would support this alliance to prevent nuclear proliferation. Plus as a lover of stated American values like freedom, I would have to be on the side of China/Mexico/Canada if Biden was acting like Putin does in Ukraine or China in east Asia.
My sense is the Ukrainians look at these foreign fighters as 'useful idiots' on the PR front, but don't see them as part of their military resources, don't give them much kit and generally ignore them in the broader military planning.
So clearly they are the idiots.why would you not use the guys that are actually trained to use the equipment..Its the same soviet mindset the Russian generals have..fuck em..let russia have their way and we will keep our money and put it into all the shit we need in our own country.
Probably true. Last year a Dutch volunteer said that he witnessed several English soldiers being buried by Ukrainians. I had the impression that Ukraine don't not want the west to know how many of there volunteers have bin killed. I don't know why, but for some reason I watched a bit of the news from an Indian news channel a couple of weeks ago. They were saying the strangest thing. It appears the Nepal has a problem retaining there military (Gurkhas), because a lot of them sign contracts to fight with the Russians.
Might have been the case in spring of 2022 but certainly hasn't been for a long long time. Not to mention, if your countrymen aren't equipped well enough, why don't you do something about it? For the Finnish volunteers there are volunteer organizations in Finland that take donations, buy equipment and drive it down to the fighters. Cars, night vision, medical supplies and even MREs are being constantly supplied to them. They're very well equipped at this point. They took part in the Kharkiv offensive and they are part of current operations as well. As for casualties, one Finn has been killed in the last 1,5 years and about 5-10 wounded.
Something about these Western veterans going to fight in Ukraine and now finding its a different reality than the lower intensity wars in Iraq and Afghanistan doesn't sit right with me. I mean we have enabled some very radically far-right and corrupt forces in Ukraine in this bid to weaken Russia - and it sounds like some of these people are leading the Legion. These people would rather see Ukraine destroyed than negotiate so of course they won't allow Westerners to leave. Extrapolating a loss in Ukraine to China becoming more aggressive is ridiculous as well. We in the West need to stop believing our own bullshit. Ukraine is a real war, fought by two sides for whom it is existential. We don't need to be there, and we don't need to goad China into a war either. No one is ready for these types of conflicts. You don't get inside the wire and eat at Burger King in relative safety when you're fighting a near peer with artillery and aircraft.
Something fishy about this guy. Complaining that the powers that be wont listen to his ideas.. i duno. Sounds like he may be the one out of line. Hard to know At the very least seems naive/overly idealistic as another comment said

In the u.s. congress, appointing oversight for military aid was voted down and strongly opposed as “helping Russian propaganda”. In reality they knew the widespread corruption in Ukraine would result in bad reports and then headlines, so they avoided it altogether.
Genius, you don't need a specific $10 million new office to conduct oversight on Ukraine aid, as the DoD already does so. Christ, I wish you intellectuals would actually delve into topics rather than regurgitate whatever superficial take you've seen on social media or Newsmax.
@@crypter1311 lol BS. They could account for sod all of their own expenditure in Iraq and Afghanistan. Even the US had internal documents where Zelensky was estimated to have embezzled $300m+. I feel this is where the part about "not being paid" is meant to garner some sort of sympathy from the viewers at home given he is doing it as a form of moral compassion.
It is very funny when the Prigozhin's riot is declared as proof of "opposition" to Putin. Firstly, the whole so-called riot occurred roughly speaking between Wagner and the Ministry of Defense and occurred because of a dispute over how to effectively kill Ukrainians, lol. Secondly, I would not be so naive to consider all this as what was actually shown. After all, there are a lot of black spots in this and somehow very strangely Wagner relocated to the western Ukrainian border, where he suspiciously trains the Belarusian army how to storm and wage a modern war.
Russian riots are tame compared to the parties we get in the West. If that’s how hard trained killer mercs go. France burned everything for 2 weeks. Summer of BLM in the US ran through a season. Even Jan 6 was wilder than PrigoGate
Would it be insane to suggest that Prigozhin and Wagner were briefly in western service for a vast sum of money and his riot was a bit of dramatic pantomime to satisfy their new client before banking the cash, standing down his men and driving into the sunset?
Hell is coming for Ukraine and any country that dares intervenes. Putin playing the long game. Russian war victory have always been waged in sober manners.

@@jamesg8203 From my point of view the Kiev regime is no better than a more pro russian government or the regime from Kremlin. We can see now how dangerous is for the population to have an opinion about this war, zelensky was elected just because he promised peace, but in the end he chose war in the march negotiations last year. I think the most of the civilians are already full of this war and they just want this to stop no matter what regime they will have in ukrain, but to speak this is very dangerous as we seen. Ukrain regime banned all the oposition political parties(more than 10), the kiev regime banned the russina literature from schools, kiev regime banned all the tv and radio stations that are not having the same narrative, kiev regime is treating the minorities like shit, the kiev regime in these days when all eurppe is helping the ukrainians are introducing new laws that are restraining even more the minorities rights there like there are subhummans, the kiev regime is starting to ban the orthodox religion, some priests are already beeing jailed, the kiev regime has introduced laws that can put you in jail if you speak bad things about the regime or about the ukrianian army even if they are true, a lot of youtubers in ukrain wer put in jail for free speach because they dont have theirs narrative about the war see the exanmple of american Gonzalo Lira that was put in jail for havin a youtube channel where he have guests talking about this war and now zelensky introduced the martial law that is canceling a new election :))). To soldier X, Australia sent military aid not military troops. What Ukraine does with that aid is up to the Ukraine government, you have gone there on your own merit and you knew the dangers and the lack of Australian government involvement concerning Australians fighting illegally in a foreign conflict. Don't know why you are complaining about the situation when you know you should not be there in the first place. Good luck with your endeavours but you ain't no war hero.
Not a good situation to be in! But I have to agree with old mate. Anyway. Could have just waited till it's our turn to be sent to test Russian artillery accuracy. Shouldn't be too much longer.
Please, tell us everything you saw Ukrainians do and why they're afraid of an international audit. I thought that you were the good guys, you shouldn't be afraid.
Soldier X sounds like he's in the know, but I think he has yet to grasp that this A: Isn't how the NATO fights wars and B: That NATO could not fight this war with current doctrines. Ukrainians aren't listening to his advice because they don't have what is needed to, what they can make advancements with is small scale, infantry centric patrols and assaults. I'm sure they'd like to have the Gulf War treatment, but what they currently have is WWI, or perhaps a better comparison might be the Iran-Iraq war. He sounds like he wants to believe that there is a mission here, that what he's doing is a holy crusade against national socialist demons that have crawled their way out of hell and into Ukraine and I hope this mindset doesn't get him killed and I hope this mindset doesn't prevail when it comes time to sit down and talk peace because if you really do see your enemy like one that has to be completely destroyed and dehumanized, you'll get only get more bodies. I think a lot of people have this fantasy about fighting against an enemy like in the second world war, but they forget how many people died in the second world war
Why could NATO not fight this war under its current military doctrine? The only major issue I’m aware of is the concentration of command posts and supply which has been proven to be more vulnerable than in the past.
@@firebird4491 NATO Doctrine might not work. Desert Storm and Iraq 2 was a textbook blitzkrieg, it actually went so well that more coalition forces died by accidents than by combat. This worked so well because of a number of different things. The main one was air superiority. 1 thing that certainly didnt harm the effort, but maybe didnt do so much in the bigger picture, were company and platoon level tactics. A NATO attack into Russian lines would only work if they could gain air superiority, if they couldnt do that, then the hypothetical NATO offensive would look a lot like Ukraines current offensive. However, Ukraine has shown that it can do Desert Storm blitzkrieg. They showed that quite clearly in Kharkiv back in September. For them to do that again, they need a breakthrough, which is gonna be hard to achieve without air superiority.
@@firebird4491 they'd be forced to take casualties and the Americans haven't seen a disgusting casualty rate since Vietnam and they've been afraid of having that ever since. It was bad enough when not too long ago we had a 2 or 3 thousand Americans die in Iraq in a span of about 8 years. It was a very unpopular war and that reason was one of the if not the largest reason as to why. As well American soldiers are very good at what they do. They're very well trained and very well equipped, but I think they could face a very similar problem to the BEF in WWI where they started off with a relatively small but very reliable land army that outperformed the Germans, but as time went on and they took more casualties they had a harder time adjusting to their capabilities because they no longer had professional career soldiers at their disposal, but conscripts who weren't very good at doing anything other than maintaining the status quo. Russian defenses are too thick to be able to avoid a high casualty rate, any progress gained will in all likelihood be gained at the expense of unit combat effectiveness. The lessons that need to be learned to fight against Russia aren't being learned first hand by Americans, but by Ukrainians, I think any fight right now will only see a combat performance relatively better than Ukrainians and then after some good advances a slow grind, a halt or perhaps even a reversal. Long winded, but in short too few men and too unwilling to spend lives, although perhaps the latter's changed
Why can’t it both be true? Its been known that Ukraine hasn’t utilized its own personnel correctly. Even Ukrainians that have experience in for example aircraft or tanks were given a rifle and said “hold this trench”. Additionally when this war started the army was still purging its Soviet heritage. And while this purge has accelerated since the war its still there. Even in regular Western armies corruption exists because all armies experience corruption. The AMOUNT changes per army based on culture and history. You now have a split line: the old guard that has been fighting in Ukraine. They did the job and got this far, so its hard for them to question if they could have done it more efficiently or better. Then there’s the NATO-trained troops and volunteers who are now trying to tell the old guard “you can do better”, but many of them haven’t fought as long on the Ukrainian frontline and understand the full extend of how fights happen here. For example NATO heavily relies on interconnectivenes and communication that they trains with, but don’t have much experience with the Russian EW sometimes completely screwing that over. So both sides have things to learn from one another, but both sides think they know best. And between all that there’s the corrupt. People who are looking out for themselves. Pavel over there has paid to be in a safe armored vehicle, he gets to have it. Hey maybe I can also take some of this gear apart, write it off as a combat loss and sell parts to nearby commanders who are in need of them because they did attack. Wait you are going to tell on me? I got a friend who can get you a job at the next assault or a trenchline we should be evacuating.
@@TheDemigans I don't think the old Soviet doctrine or more accurate, it's evolution from there is ineffective, outdated or laughable. Body for body, I don't believe it superior, but I think it has done a very good job at dragging down Ukraine to ita level. The Ukrainians started this war with a well equipped, professional army that had 8 years to prepare to go to war against the Russians, now in less than a year they're forcing the old, the young and the foreigner into uniform. The same thing happened with the Russian army where the battalion tactical group has given way to larger formations. The other half of the equation is are these better, more professional methods able to flourish. These trenches have to be taken, trench by trench. If you have 60 assault troops, highly trained, highly motivated, they're armed to the teeth and they get to the trench and clear out a bunch of 55 year old convicts and then get targeted by artillery bombardment or glide bombs, they're not going to be able to hold those trenches and they might just be leaving having taken more casualties than the previous occupants of the trench. This is the current fundamental problem with everything in Ukraine. They have the high end weapons and armor, they have the guys who are highly trained and motivated still (although diminished), but they lack the means to make sure these guys can do their jobs and the same problems Ukrainians face, are going to be the same problems NATO would face and they'd face it with a similar degree of composition, just with greater quantity and quantity isn't my concern it's that will Germany or Poland or the USA be able to deal with 100 or more body bags being filled a day potentially a few years
@cobrazcd hes built up dream of Western superiority and standing on a moral high ground "we are good Russia bad" delusion. That dream started to shatter and the cognitive dissonance started to set in
There is a hilarious Stonetoss comic where there's a tug of war going on. On one side, there is "don't tread on me" Libertarian facing off against a Communist. A Capitalist rushes in and races to help the Communist. The penultimate panel shows a Fascist rushing to join the Libertarian's side of the tug of war, struggling against the Communist and the Capitalist. The punchline is the Libertarian's utter confusion "Huh?" It's an amusing observation on politics (just misses the Libertarian sabotaging their own self-interest by letting go of the rope for some bespoke fanaticism no one cares about) but it highlights why people tend to align around what they oppose more than what they agree on. We can all more easily describe what we hate, more than what we love. All that holds "Ukraine" together is common hatred of Russians. Soldier X is jewish. He hates Russians for his own invented reasons. The "Ukrainian" volunteers he fights alongside hate Russians too for their own invented reasons. For the common purpose of hating Russians, the "Ukrainian" academic interest in 1933-1945 German politics and iconography is overlooked by Soldier X in the same way the "Ukrainian's" ignore Soldier X being jewish. And I don't even think the "Ukrainian's" are genuine Nazis, as in adherent's to the policies of Germany between 1933 and 1945. I think they are simply misguided nationalists who borrow these symbols from a defeated regime because they know it aggravates and annoys the Russians. Which just highlights how hollow their claimed national identity is. "Ukraine" is just the not Russia country. The only thing that holds the regime and foreign volunteer's together is a common hatred, not a common love. Ultimately, that's not going to be enough. The best thing any "Ukrainian" soldier or foreign volunteer can do is tune their radio's into the frequency the Russians offer (they drop leaflets onto "Ukrainian" positions with instructions - in Russian of course so that the "Ukrainians" can understand them) and negotiate their surrender. Let Zelensky, Blinken, Nuland and Soldier X man the trenches to the death if they want to.
You really think scores of Ukrainian people would get Nazi insignia tattooed on their bodies because they hate the Russians and not because they believe and worship their Ukrainian founding father who ironically enough was an anti Semite and signed up to nazi ideology?

Twenty years ago, one of my liberal classmates, who went into business after university (we live in Moscow), spoke admiringly about Ukraine: "This is a country of opportunity. I’ve listened to another interviews with soldiers and medics fighting in the south and they are saying that Russians are well equipped and trained with high morale to win the war. They also noticed they are learning much quicker to change tactics
That is something he mentioned. Russia always sucks at first. But they learn and adapt over time. The way you win is to not give them the time to learn from their mistakes. It seems however that they are quickly running out of time to achieve that as the Russians are starting to adapt. Tho every war is different so who knows what will happen

You see about 6-8 vehicles get annihilated. ONE FUCKING TANK in the open took up to 20 lives in minutes, and SURVIVED. The crew were filmed yesterday I think talking about that experience. Soldier X is delusional if he really thinks Ukraine is losing because of battle field commanders doing things "the wrong way" or not doing things "the NATO/Western way". Ukraine is losing because it doesn't have enough tanks, shells, aircraft and well-trained soldiers. And who is to say NATO tactics would work - this is a war NATO isn't used to fighting. NATO doesn't have the expertise in how to deal with minefields while under fire or how to cross large open terrain when you lack air and artillery superiority. Fundamentally, Ukraine is losing because it can't fight a war of attrition.
One of my biggest concerns with giving Ukraine all this advanced Western equipment and vehicles was always how they were going to use them. Without proper training, support and tactics we could give them 100 Abrams, 100 Bradleys and enough ammo to invade Chicago, but if the UA doesn’t know how to use them, or decides to use them improperly it’s just a waste. Sending a single Leopard with two BMPS to assault an established trench line is asking for failure.
The voice of soldier X is so much distorted I can't understand what he is saying. No subtitles available either. Such a pity we can't follow what this man has to say. If you could wrap up, it would help.

Sorry his situation sound bad and I feel for him, Ukraine had alway been corrupt so hardly an surprise. However when it comes to war crimes you should speak out , you have responsibility to speak out!
Even those that join as part the Ukrainian army - not just the foreign legion - aren’t permitted to command. It’s policy, for right or wrong and not a reflection on this soldiers experience.
Right now big tech can blame the Ukrainian personnel for why their over priced & overhyped gear is garbage against Russia. But if they have Australians operating Bush Masters, Americans operating Bradleys, Germans in their Leopards, Then all that gear's assumed superiority goes out the window when Nato gear gets wrecked with the NATO specialists in it. which in money terms means massive devaluation of the gear. loss of profits. that's why they don't let you drive the bushmasters
Anybody that fights against Russia deserves everything they get. The way to help ordinary Ukrainians is to stop supporting their military and call for peace negotiations.

Russia Didnt come into Ukraine guns blazing becuase the motive was only to scare Ukraine into agreeing to their proposal not to conquer Kiev. That deal being rejected is completley mind boggling and can only be explained as western pressure to use Ukraine as a Russian bludgeon.
Nah, the goal absolutely was to capture Kiev - and it would definitely have worked if Selenskyj had fled the country like it most other leaders who experienced the gunboat diplomacy of a super power (most often the USA, but this time it's Russia). It would also have been the objectively better outcome for Ukraine. Now they are locked into the forever war between Russia and Nato - and the battlefield never wins when two superpowers use it for their fight...
I wander how long will it take for people like "Soldier X" to figure out that Australia or more precisely "Western Civilization" outside of US in general do thing the way they do not because of "lack of accountability" or even corruption, but because they simply do not care about Ukraine and do it to get proper optics to counter pressure from US. They do not care to help or save Ukraine - just show master "see I did good". US also does not care about Ukraine, this conflict is a distraction for internal socio/economic issues as well as a great way for a lot of politicians to line up their pockets, as well as destroy military complex of other countries within "Western Civilization" and completely replace them with US based one. In short, all he complains about is "by design" and this is why it will never be fixed.
If us/nato wanted to win they could rather quickly, but they aren't interested in that. They simply want to drain russia and pooter. So the longer it drags out, the better for them.
100% accurate, countries just dump their old gear on the Ukies to appease Uncle Sam, Uncle Sam just wants countries to deplete their stockpiles so they have to buy new US-made gear and making Uncle Sam a good buck. Nobody gives two f*cks about Ukraine, it's an opportunity to make money and chain Europe even closer to the failing USA, be it economically, energy-wise and diplomatically.

so buddy has two big issues here. the first is that he seems to think that if him and his buddies just give one or two more interviews, that will guarantee that they will be given the seat that they deserve at the table with the leader of the free world and the various departments of defense and intelligence agencies and everyone else that is currently deciding the next steps in this conflict. and his second issue is that he doesn't seem to really understand numbers, so just like with other such people that have this issue, any number above like a million or whatever they can imagine just becomes some large number in their heads. hundreds of millions? billions? trillions? i don't know, all the same, basically gazillions. and that prevents him from being able to grasp the numbers involve and put them into context to get an idea of just how much his kangaroo koala land has contributed to the assistance program. yeah, if it was the united states, it would be worth putting together a system to track the stuff, and perhaps even a system that ukrainians could use to also track stuff from other countries through the same system. but the idea that koala nation with their few hundreds of millions of dollar or whatever amount they said was sent to ukraine by the kangaroos would suddenly send dingos to ukraine to track down those handful of vehicles is pretty ridiculous. a good chunk of them are probably destroyed by now if they were sent months ago, and that's just from the nature of warfare in such an environment. so yeah, properly training the ukrainians, no issues with that. go ahead, by all means. but tracking the peanuts and crumbs is just ridiculous. i have no idea what kangaroo land sent to ukraine, but if it's a few hundred millions and they sent a bunch of actual vehicles in between the artillery shells and other ammunition and other kinds of crap, i can't imagine that it would have been more than a few dozen vehicles, otherwise the numbers just don't add up. i remember reading for instance that other weak and pathetic countries like justine trudo canuckland sent something like four tanks.. yep, you heard that right. four. can be counted on one hand even after suffering a table saw accident that took out a finger. so that gives a pretty good idea of the kind of numbers that we are dealing with here. nobody cares about setting up a whole system or whatever to track a four tanks that can be wiped out in a single afternoon if they get sent to attack right on the front.. would be a waste of time and energy.
so yeah, basically this whole interview didn't really tell anyone anything new. everyone knows that corruption is happening and that ukaine is hopelessly corrupt, but we put that aside because they had been invaded by retarded bloodthirsty russian cavemen and because it was an emergency and the right thing to do as opposed to little bullshit weak limp-wristed euro-leftist style bureaucrat paperwork or whatever these two are complaining about here. the issue is what to do moving forward if the goal is to get ukraine to liberate their entire country, because that would require a bunch of extra hundreds of billions easily, and then it would be worth tracking. but just a single sad pathetic country like kangaroo land or canuckland sending four tanks and a few pairs of socks? nah.. not even worth talking about.
but i think buddy here needs to take a break and go home or something for a while, because clearly the pressure is getting to him or something. he is becoming paranoid and imagining all kinds of crazy plots and stories about shadowy figures wanting to murder him and everything. hell, a break would be good for him no matter how you look at it because if people are indeed trying to murder him, then it would be pretty good for him to get out of ukraine and go back with the kangaroos for a while or something. maybe even be able to go in person to talk to the government to share his genius plans that will change the war, right?
Ok, let's say he's revealed his identity to RUclips audience, so how you gonna help him? Can you help him? I don't think so.

All I can say is Baker's Promise.
it's funny how they pushed them into each others arms and now they're both better off as a result
Plus as a lover of stated American values like freedom, I would have to be on the side of China/Mexico/Canada if Biden was acting like Putin does in Ukraine or China in east Asia.
this is doublethink. you cant say that the west has forced russia to work with china, and russia actually shares a border with the US.
Lol what a bunch of BS. Russia always wanted to incorporate former Soviet republics, why you westerners are such naive
Having too many go home in bits looks bad on TV
Probably true. Last year a Dutch volunteer said that he witnessed several English soldiers being buried by Ukrainians.
I had the impression that Ukraine don't not want the west to know how many of there volunteers have bin killed.
I don't know why, but for some reason I watched a bit of the news from an Indian news channel a couple of weeks ago.
They were saying the strangest thing. It appears the Nepal has a problem retaining there military (Gurkhas), because a lot of them sign contracts to fight with the Russians.
Of course are they useful idiots duh as the whole Ukraine is.

Soldier X sounds like he's in the know, but I think he has yet to grasp that this
A: Isn't how the NATO fights wars and
B: That NATO could not fight this war with current doctrines.

Well said
You really think scores of Ukrainian people would get Nazi insignia tattooed on their bodies because they hate the Russians and not because they believe and worship their Ukrainian founding father who ironically enough was an anti Semite and signed up to nazi ideology?

That can't be true. The Washington Post and the Pentagon say Russian soldiers are demoralized and fighting with shovels.
That is something he mentioned. Russia always sucks at first. But they learn and adapt over time. The way you win is to not give them the time to learn from their mistakes. It seems however that they are quickly running out of time to achieve that as the Russians are starting to adapt. Tho every war is different so who knows what will happen

Even though the Russians are taking casualties, their use of arms is insane. 2 days ago a Russian T-72 or 62 charged Ukrainians and took on an entire convoy armed with tanks and ATGMs. That one tank destroyed 2 tanks, Marders and other vehicles. You see about 6-8 vehicles get annihilated.
ONE FUCKING TANK in the open took up to 20 lives in minutes, and SURVIVED. The crew were filmed yesterday I think talking about that experience. This is the reality of the war. Men are dying within minutes, hundreds a day.

Why does the West 'need this win?' The West promotes trans kids, open borders and has tyranised us for the last few years due to the war on flu. The Western elites are scum and no one should be dying for them.
The Moscow tank museum is ecstatic at receiving all the new free exhibits, the leopard will look great alongside the king tiger.
Ukraine's limiting factor for the duration of this war is the availability of new recruits which is already almost depleted.

Russia Didnt come into Ukraine guns blazing becuase the motive was only to scare Ukraine into agreeing to their proposal not to conquer Kiev. That deal being rejected is completley mind boggling and can only be explained as western pressure to use Ukraine as a Russian bludgeon.
🤡
Nah, the goal absolutely was to capture Kiev - and it would definitely have worked if Selenskyj had fled the country like it most other leaders who experienced the gunboat diplomacy of a super power (most often the USA, but this time it's Russia).
It would also have been the objectively better outcome for Ukraine. Now they are locked into the forever war between Russia and Nato - and the battlefield never wins when two superpowers use it for their fight...
@Eldar Gerfanov Sure, sometimes they don't flee or surrender. And then their country becomes the super power's new battlefield...
😂
@Eldar Gerfanov when they say like most other leaders they only have president of afghanistan in mind
