My comment was actually just an expression. I've known Em's works since high school, I know what he's capable of. Also, I believe I've read and heard pretty much anything about Em on the media since the day My Name Is dropped. There are couple things I need to inform to both previous comments: according to himself on 60Minutes, he did use to read dictionary to learn as much as vocabs he could, so that he could have them in his disposal anytime he needed to use them. Plus the statement about the book was actually: the only book HE FINISHED reading was LL Cool J's biography. Alright, friendly RUclipsrs, now I'm gonna mute this. Have a good day!
I've never heard a song that makes me feel so confident in myself It makes me so much more brave, it allows me to deal with situations I wouldn't be able to deal with without listening to this.
Man, Eminem has gone a long way. In a good way. He's lived his whole life going through pain and suffering, which he always vented through his music and made millions of fans proud. Now he's finally found his solace, found peace, and now he's rapping about how he has no motivation to keep rapping the way he used to. He may be recycling songs, like he said, he may be running out of ideas or out of motivation in general, but he's still a great rapper. Even if his career comes to an end soon, I'll remain a proud fan.

2021 lets do this...never too late to start over. Guts over fear means a lot to me. I am 37 years old. My dad treated us awfully as kids, i was beaten within and inch of my life daily, lived in total fear. But all these years later i have written a book about. 20 years ago Eminems music saved me....i was afraid even at 16/7 to speak out. Now i feel proud of myself for finally being able to share my story. I dont have any fear anymore and if the book reaches just one person, then that little frightened boys start will be heard. When i was a boy i would have never dreamt of telling the story...never ever. So shows how far i have truly come and i am proud
Eminem is one of the GREATEST Artist in music history! Notice I said ARTIST and NOT Rapper! There are only a few MC's ever that could pour their heart into their lyrics the way that he can. Most of these rappers are "fly by night," here today gone tomorrow. They not in the music business to uplift the level of the artistry in Hip Hop. They are in it to try to make a few quick bucks, get a little fame, and they could care less about how their garbage music effects the genre of Hip Hop in the long run. I once was a Hip Hop artist and I know how difficult it is to put your thoughts, heartache, pain, and emotions into lyrics, and then make it fit into a 4 minute song format and Eminem consistently does it with ease. Some of you haters have never seen the inside of a studio, never tried to write a song, and never had the pressure and the weight of the world on your shoulders the way Eminem has, and he still has the ability and courage to fight through all of that and continue to make meaningful music. His music/songs are not for everybody, and the haters that always seem to have a mouthful to say are just ignorant and don't have the intellectual capacity to decipher his messages, so they just hate out of stupidity. Don't dislike him just because he's white, Don't dislike him just because you're too dumb to understand his lyrics. Have a legitimate reason or shut the fuck up! Keep doing your thing Eminem!
I mean, you're obviously going after specific people, but dont assume what people who dislike Eminem think or even listen to. Straight up, I feel Eminem is CRAZY overrated. My problem isnt with his ability, its with his hardcore stans declaring 'goat' or 'rap god', then compare him to the latest commercial rappers. Would you compare Wu-Tang or 2Pac to marky mark or vanilla ice? Of course not. But Eminem fanboys stay away from the Eyedeas, the Aesop Rocks, the Waxs to create a simple, easy victory. Yeah, being a 'goat' is trivial when all you have to compete against is cow pat. Aim higher for your comparisons.
I feel blessed to be alive at the same time as this man so I can experience his genius. Heart touching, meaningful and true. I hope this man lives forever.
See, em never lost it, never fell off, he's still on top and no one can ever knock him off it. No one will ever obtain the status or reputation or skill he has. Haters can hate all they want, that just means eminem is doing it right
...... You dont understand the lyrics then, hes pretty much expressing how its over and he has nothing really to talk about. (I sense retirement) He isnt really at the top, he has lost it he even says that
The only thing he's really admitting in this song is that he thought he lost it but he won't make a song with no purpose anymore. He wants to be remembered as inspirational. Not a joker. And for the record, Eminem will probably never be done with music. Jus saying
"Let the legend of the angry blonde live on through you when i'm gone" goosebumps. sounds sad honestly, like after all his time in the game he knows it's coming to an end.

Sia and Eminem together = Perfection. Their minds are both brilliant. Perfectly crafted. This speaks on so many levels to so many people. Love the remake of the video. It leaves it open for the viewer to interpret the lyrics to help with all situations. It's theraputi motivation with a beat.
Don't you feel chills when he says "legend of the angry blonde...". I mean don't you go down the memory lane and recall the late 90's and early 00's Eminem performing songs like Mockingbird, My name is, The way I am live at the stadiums. The hysterical shouting! The legend!
Remember "The way I am" and how Em told the media and his critics to fuck off with it? This song feels the same but this time Em is sober. Which is amazing in contrast...
Dude I love this song. This song has helped me get over fear and has given me the confidence to pull myself up and not give up. This is why Eminem is on my top 1 list of best artists.
This is not an ordinary song. Deep meaning in the lyrics. It's kinda dark and mysterious, but I like it a lot. Deep message. ''So this for to every kid who alls they ever did was dreamt of one day just getting accepted. I represent him or her, anyone similar - _you are the reason that I made this song._ And everything you're scared to say don't be afraid to say no more''. Very inspiring actually. Congratulations Eminem and Sia. This is art.
I feel bad that Marshall put so mush effort into this song and got only 3 million views and 94,000 likes. While nicki minaja put absolutely no effort into anaconda and got over 230 million views and over a millions likes. Songs like these deserve more likes, views, but most of all, attention.
Well that just shows how stupid people (specifically the kids) have become. They don't care about lyricism, rhyming meters, puns, metaphors, rhyme schemes, wordplays and all that kind of stuff because they just want to hear a beat and sensless and stupid rhyming which a grade schooler can do better. Oh humanity, have you fallen of this far -_-
Yeah I mean I'm 13 and I feel like I'm the only one who listens to the words. I played this song for people and while they noticed was his voice and the beat. And everyone doesn't get the true meaning of his songs. It really pisses me off being a huge eminem fan. But, considering the stuff other rappers are making I kind of understand why they do. They're so used to rappers rapping about drugs money and women that they just don't care anymore.
Damn, when I remember all his other songs and how much shit he's been through and now I'm listening to this... It brings so much nostalgia, even though he's gonna retire after this album
Will SHADY XV REALLY be his last album? oh god no! WHY! Now there is so much bullshit rap with this fuckheads like niki minaj and other fucking dumbasses like justin bieber , azalea and some fucking douches that dont know what rap means, they should be killed, no seriously why the fuck anaconda has 100 mil views! why so much bullshit, listen to this then listen to justin bieber who calls himself a rapper fucking douchebag. i dont want any hate but its the truth!
I freaking love when he says "feels like a close. It's coming to. Fuck am I gonna do? It's too late to start...over! This is the only thing I....thing I knoooow!" I get goosebumps!
Hope Eminem makes a music video for this song. Every time I hear this song, I feel like I want to cry. I don't care what anybody says about Eminem or this song; Eminem is the reason why I want to be a rapper today! Please don't quit, Eminem, and make more good music! :D
***** Flo Rida made a music video without Sia, same with David Guetta with Titanium. Also notice she is not in her video for Chandelier. So there easily a chance of a video for this
absolute lyrical mastermind a true example of what rap music is about great creative lines and storytelling with meaning and heart to the lyrics not generic hoes money ass shit every talentless hack is filling in the blueprint off making the genre look stupid.
You dont know what the fuck are you talking about.Hip hop was started as a party music rapping about "money hoes ass".And i know you defeners wont admit it,but all great rappers rapped about it even Eminem.Bragging was always big part of hip hop And "crative storytelling with a meaning" have you listened to Kim?its crative yeah but what meaning?
MrLeSa95 have you listened to this song? Have you listened to not afraid? Have you listened to stan? Have you listened to bad guy? Creative story telling right there
Eminem has changed, people mature. He isn't always going to be Marshall Mathers, Slim Shady and Eminem, he has matured and so has his music. The fact he can still rap, with the meaning and lyrics at 41 just proves how much of an amazing artist he is, if you don't like his new sound, music or vibe. Then leave the harsh comments for yourself or go listen to his older music, he still slays. There's no need to judge him, he hasn't got "soft" he realised the mistakes he has made, he learned by them. Here he is, making music that no rappers make, he doesn't rap about what Rick Ross or Lil Wayne would rap about, people say Lil Wayne is a lyrical genius but then hate on Eminem for making a song with meaning. I don't get you people
I escaped my abusive mom 3 years ago now I used to listen to this song when I was still living with her for the hope i would one day make it out and I did
GOSH! Can we just talk first about the lyric video? Do you even imagine how hard it is to follow the lyrics of a rapper? My respects to the person who made this. Great job. In other hand, Eminem and Sia blow me away. To me, an unexpected duo but an amazing combination though. Besides, both sings about similar and deep stuff. I like it :)
I like any Em, I'm a hardcore fan, I'm Shady till I die as some say, and I hope Shady comes back now and then couple songs and what not but I like the Em that is now reaching out saying like ''hey fans I hope from all the songs I've give you the strength to pull through your dark times'' Which is great cause he's all about the fans
to be honest it has been years since i first listened to it and untill our day it still hit me cuz i felt his lyrics somehow everyone one who felt different or non qualified for a specific life understand the pain and the move-on stage in the lyrics applause for em and sia
"RAP GOD" and "GUTS OVER FEAR" prove why Eminem deserves the title of a RAP GOD. He admits that he isn't perfect. He tries to improve himself. He is a human being too. He deserves the best things in his life. :)

how did he write such complicated rhyme like that? he's a revolutionary.
He's always written complex rhymes. From his whole Infinite album, to Lose Yourself, to Renegade, to Till I Collapse, etc.
Eminem always studied and looked through a dictionary to learn words to make his writing process better.

That was some excellent work from Eminem and Sia.

And for Sia to come up with that hook over some rap beats is truly something.
The illest beat Eminem has rapped over since Relapse.
The illest beat Eminem has rapped over since Relapse.
Proud of u

Definitely needed this tonight, never stop making music Marshall, your art is amazing
Ha Marshal Art
Frost ThePig That was genius :D HAHA
Eminem the rap god.
+Ronnie Juhan respect
I just realized that I liked your comment before I finish reading it.
@@harryshearer992 2PAC more emotional with lyrics em more poetical.
I feel blessed to be alive at the same time as this man so I can experience his genius. Heart touching, meaningful and true. I hope this man lives forever.
This song is keeping and has kept me alive.
Sia+Eminem= Perfect song👑
Em & Sia are a good mix.. her chorus was powerful went great with rap gods lyrics
(I sense retirement)
He isnt really at the top, he has lost it he even says that
The only thing he's really admitting in this song is that he thought he lost it but he won't make a song with no purpose anymore. He wants to be remembered as inspirational. Not a joker. And for the record, Eminem will probably never be done with music. Jus saying
touches the heart so deeply man
I LOVE Eminem's songs, it's very inspirational
that picture doe :D
Your awesome for having that profile pic
"Let the legend of the angry blonde live on through you when i'm gone" goosebumps. sounds sad honestly, like after all his time in the game he knows it's coming to an end.

Yeah Eminem is obviously rapping wonderfully and creatively. But she really tied it all together even more.
This song speaks to me so much its unexplainable.
This shit just to tuff bro.
Eminem is love, Eminem is life.
Who said they did?
AeroRomeo You just don't get it
u should try celtic music
Daaniyal Ahmad lmfao XD

Oh yeahh, I can totally see the connection. Havn't noticed that really before, thanks man!
Man, that's true... awesome!
Navy Natro i remember that song
I'm in love with this song
ITS WAY BETTER THAN HEADLIGHTS AND DRUG BALLAD AND NOT AFRAID
A4ONE
Yeah but not Beautiful Pain.
A4ONE not better then not afraid but definitely better then drug ballad. I think its par with headlights
Really powerful meaning behind it :D
Grey
Yeah, its empowering.
Happy birthday Eminem! Thank you for bringing happiness and entertainment into my life! Hope you have one of your best days of you life! =D

Where I live yesterday was his bday October 17th
that makes him a libra
Oh humanity, have you fallen of this far -_-
good point
Matt Froehling Yo, I hate my generation sometimes.
same here.
If eminem continued after this album he would just wear himself out, he mays well quit strong
EnderCraftMc® 2 albums after this, he will be in his early fifties after his last album is released
its probably not because he says this is the only thing he knows how to do
More songs like this please...
The motivational part of Marshall is what makes him so great
I freaking love when he says "feels like a close. It's coming to. Fuck am I gonna do? It's too late to start...over! This is the only thing I....thing I knoooow!" I get goosebumps!
i love eminem so much !! i cried just by the thought of him not raping anymore he's the best i can't imagine my life without his songs guiding me
He has never raped anyone....
XD wtf why the hell did you write raiping in stead of raping
....wait what !
YGS
When will the internet learn the difference between rapping and raping?
Hope Eminem makes a music video for this song. Every time I hear this song, I feel like I want to cry. I don't care what anybody says about Eminem or this song; Eminem is the reason why I want to be a rapper today! Please don't quit, Eminem, and make more good music! :D
There is a video
***** Flo Rida made a music video without Sia, same with David Guetta with Titanium. Also notice she is not in her video for Chandelier. So there easily a chance of a video for this
Still here the second it dropped till this day ❤❤❤
Love this song. He just gets better and better every year.

Em is definitely a legend, but I'm not sure you could call him the best. 2nd or 3rd.
First has to go to 2Pac r.i.p
absolute lyrical mastermind a true example of what rap music is about great creative lines and storytelling with meaning and heart to the lyrics not generic hoes money ass shit every talentless hack is filling in the blueprint off making the genre look stupid.
Thank you, wow man realist comment on this video.
Amen
Listen to Fack, he's still good, but you might rethink that statement
You dont know what the fuck are you talking about.Hip hop was started as a party music rapping about "money hoes ass".And i know you defeners wont admit it,but all great rappers rapped about it even Eminem.Bragging was always big part of hip hop
And "crative storytelling with a meaning" have you listened to Kim?its crative yeah but what meaning?
MrLeSa95 have you listened to this song? Have you listened to not afraid? Have you listened to stan? Have you listened to bad guy? Creative story telling right there
This song has helped me through a lot of tough times. So uplifting
I can't imagine how long it took to edit this whole video. Props to whoever edited this.
I don't get you people
True but yeah he will be Marshall Mathers, its his name lol
the best song ever Eminem is a legend i wish i could relisten all his songs for the first time
but not the best song he made of course
Not even in the top 100 for best Eminem songs...Still a good song though cause all of his shit is amazing. :)

Not a huge rap fan but I am absolutely obsessed with this
I escaped my abusive mom 3 years ago now I used to listen to this song when I was still living with her for the hope i would one day make it out and I did
The message is so strong and has a lot of emotion; I love it.
very good lyric timing and how put on the screen was phenomenal
this song just save my life.
"The legend of the angry blond lives on through you when I'm gone" damn. Gave me chills.
If you listen, he basically says he's is done being who he was, I like this new style
Fuck that SHADYTILLIDIE
So do i
I like any Em, I'm a hardcore fan, I'm Shady till I die as some say, and I hope Shady comes back now and then couple songs and what not but I like the Em that is now reaching out saying like ''hey fans I hope from all the songs I've give you the strength to pull through your dark times'' Which is great cause he's all about the fans
1994: Bieber is born.
1995: Eazy E dies.

to be honest it has been years since i first listened to it and untill our day it still hit me cuz i felt his lyrics somehow everyone one who felt different or non qualified for a specific life understand the pain and the move-on stage in the lyrics
applause for em and sia

Lol same with me I thought he was done though?
Oh yeah.
But still cant wait for it!!!
Isnt he in rehab tho?
