Hey guys! Hope you’re all having a great week! We wanted to clarify the cargo area figures. Toyota sent us some last minute corrections and the cargo space on the Corolla Cross Hybrid is actually 21.5 cu.ft while total cargo with the second row folded down is actually 61.8 cu.ft. Compared to the RAV4 Hybrid, 8 cubic feet less! Sorry for the confusion!

It makes no sense that there is only a $1.3k gap between the corolla n its hybrid version, $3k for the Rav4 n its hybrid version but yet a $5k gap for the Cross....
Does it cost more to turn the Cross into a Hybrid? I think not.... Therefore I would rather get a corolla Hybrid for $23k n get over 50 mpg or a RAV4 Hybrid if I need an SUV.... That would change if the Cross was at least $5k cheaper than the RAV4 or if it gets over 50 MPG like the Corolla to justify the price.

Anyone had any issues with 2023 Corolla Cross XSE? I'm looking at buy but just saw comments on Corolla Cross Forum with L and LE MODELS...STALLING IN RAIN/ON HWY/USING WIPERS?
I have not had a single issue, but I always make sure I turn the stop/start off, before I put it in drive. The issue is supposedly the wind shield wipers on intermittent, and the start stop on.
What I have been doing, rain or shine is to make sure the stop/start is turned off. This will keep me consistent. Let's hope Toyota finds a fix for this ASAP.

You can get leather seats installed with your pick of color at a good shop though I'd wait a few years when cloth is wearing out. Buy the base trim and you already saved money for upgrades down the road. Rims also 1/3 the price used so why complain what you get with each trim. Swap out the steel wheels and use them for winter if you get snow in your area. Think outside the box!!!
