I've always thought a bit was abusive, and this just shows that a bit is not needed to control a horse. Gentleness is the only way. Bravo!!

Every time I come across another of your videos Klaus, I am so pleased and see such grace and pure communication in yours and the horses interactions!
    Thank you for ever!

Great work! This is how horse should be "broken." I used the very similar method with my stallion and it really pays back! He is such an incredible trusting horse! He is 4 yrs now but so reliable! :) K.

lovely music. I was just comparing this video to the ones popping up on the right. People seem to misunderstand what real trust and harmony is. This is a perfect example. Keep going Klaus!

What type of bridle/headcollar is that? I would love to try that out myself I'm not a fan of bits and neither is my mare!

It's some sort of sidepull hackamore, with the side rings set very high on the noseband. Look up "hackamore" in Wikipedia.

Does anyone know which saddle he is using on the black horse? It is the first time I see one of those, yet it looks light and comfortable for both the horse and rider.

I think it is a "vaquero saddle"
