OSD Artist Spotlight: Adelyn Krone (Avanti HS Senior)

We found out this past month that Avanti High School Senior Adelyn Krone was recognized with a national gold medal and two national silver medals for her three art submissions to the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.
Adelyn has been invited to attend the National Awards Ceremony at Carnegie Hall in New York City on June 8th, 2023.
We were able to sit down with Adelyn (and AHS art teacher Cecily Schmidt) to hear about her process and what inspired her to create these amazing pieces...enjoy!
