From my experience with the A&F jeans, the curve love have a smaller waist and bigger hip area. If the waist is too small and legs and hips too big, you probably need the regular ones. That happened to me as well. One style fit perfectly in curve love and another style was too baggy. Hope that helps.
Same thing happened to me with the relaxed fit! Definitely go with the regular ones. I’m learning they get baggier with every use. Curve love ones are way to wide in the legs!
I believe curvy jeans are specifically made for people who have a larger than 10 inch difference between their hips and their waist. So if your waist to hip ratio is 10 inches or less, you need a regular fit! It definitely looks like a wrong size problem to me. They look great but would fit better in the regular I think! ☺️
Oooo thanks for the help on this!! The regular in the straight jeans didn’t fit right so I was thinking curve love would be perfect but based on what you’re saying, I don’t think so!
I would say keep the 24 size and you are probably more of a regular then a curve love fit. Have you tried the Agolde pinch waist? I just picked up the Abstract wash and they are beautiful. Also if you are looking for a really good quality black bodysuit tank I love the square neck style from Aritzia in the Babaton Contour line! Amazing quality that surpasses Abercrombie in my opinion.
Also of the styles for curve love line fit different for me! For example I wear the 24 in the cross waist dad shorts, a 25 in the high waist dad shorts, and a 25 in the high waist mom shorts (all curve love). Even sizing down the dad shorts doesn’t get rid of the bunching in the crotch, but I don’t mind since it fits so well in the bum area. You really just need to try different sizes on since the sizes fit different across styles!
Hey Alexis! Wondering if you could please share how the wide-leg trouser pants are holding up for you (if you ended up keeping them that is)? I purchased two pair but have yet to take the tags off. I’m contemplating returning them because I’ve since read multiple reviews on Abercrombie’s website of people stating these trousers pill like crazy just after a few wears and even before washing!🙁 Definitely not worth the cost if that’s the case, so I’m curious if you have experienced that as well? Thank you!
The waist is smaller on the curve love! They don't advertise them that way, but I did finally see it in a description of one pair. I think the regular 24 would probably be perfect on you in the relaxed jean-a bit more room in the waist, but not so baggy in the leg. I have the same split hem relaxed jeans, and I agree about the wash. It's SO good.
This was super helpful to me as someone whose currently agonizing over which AF jeans to get for summer. Will keep and eye out to see if you do solve the regular vs curve love dilemma. QUESTION THO: where is the red top from at 13:00 (worn with the washed black jeans)? It is SO gorgeous and I need it immediately 😍
I love A&F swim. The cheekiness takes some getting uuuused to... like, I've had two sets of theirs for years and I still don't know how I feel. But I wear them haha- the fit is great and the quality is great. You look so good in that yellow! It is so hard to find the perfect wideleg trousers. I want to try A&F's, but they're always out of stock in my size. I actually got the brown Archer pants from Princess Polly! I wanted to try them out but I'm 5' and they are just too long too! So sad. Fit everywhere else but damn, they are such a great material!
So glad to hear this!!! Lol I know the cheeky fit is a bit scary to me but I think I just need to rock it. Awww man that makes me so sad!! I wish they came in short sizes!
I’ve had to get a lot of my A&F jeans altered. Kinda annoying, but they fit better now, but ya, had the same problem. I will say, I believe the relaxed 90s fit, are made baggier and bigger than other styles.
Hey! Alexis you’re looking too cutest in all haul I have literally no words for you and I really enjoyed watching your vlogs so so much and I wish you reach 50K Subscribers very very soon!❤️☺️🥺
Are you referring to the company as a whole or something I said? I haven’t watched it yet but I know about the discriminatory behavior of the former people in charge years ago. Since the new CEO has been in charge, they’ve changed significantly. They put out this statement regarding the doc: At Abercrombie & Fitch Co., we live by our purpose and show up for our customers, associates and partners on their journeys to being and becoming exactly who they are. Our ongoing evolution has been so rewarding, and we want to be clear that the recently released documentary is not reflective of who we are now. We own and validate that there were exclusionary and inappropriate actions under former leadership. Since I became CEO in 2017, we've overhauled Abercrombie and transformed with intention into a place of belonging. We've evolved the organization, including making changes in management, prioritizing representation, implementing new policies, re-envisioning our store experiences and updating the fit, size-range and style of our products. We're focused on inclusivity-and continuing that transformation is our enduring promise to you, our community. Because without you, we wouldn't be who we are now. Thank you for being on this journey with us. Always Forward, Fran Horowitz, CEO I filmed this before seeing it so maybe I’ll feel differently after watching but I like to give people a chance to grow, change and do better.
@@AlexisThereseCastillo the company as a whole actually. It has very little to do with you marketing on their behalf or new CEO pioneering their latest school of thought dear. It's just that, I simply don't know how to feel about that particular brand right now. I grew up wearing it, worshipping it and I had no idea any of this was going on. Had no idea that as the Documentary outlines, the brand was required by law to be inclusionary for a stated period, and after the period was over, they decided to do away with the legal obligation. So, I don't know all I'm certain of right now is that there are brands that have never not wanted me as a POC girl. You do you though.
@@mikaylablackwood5286 I’m definitely planning on watching it because I want to be informed. I posted this before the doc was released so like I said, I don’t know the extent of the hurtful things they’ve done in the past. From what I’ve seen in the last couple of years at least, they seem to be inclusionary but I can also understand that for many people, the damage has already been done and they feel they can’t support the brand no matter what steps they make to change for the better ♥️♥️♥️ all love and I appreciate your insight.
Most Abercrombie jeans don’t look good on me. I’m a 27 and 5’5” athletic build. But the no stretch is a no for me. I have a pair from 4 years ago that have stretch and are the best jeans I’ve ever bought from Abercrombie, but when I went back to buy more they said they changed their jeans. Sad.
you definitely don’t need curve love. that fit is for girls who specifically have much larger hips, thighs, and booty in comparison to their waist. you seem to have a traditional body type…. so you definitely should by the traditional jean style
I have thicker thighs and a booty which is usually my issue with jeans. I’ve tried the regular fit in other styles before and the waist either fits perfect but the bum and thighs are too tight or vice versa 😅 maybe I need to try them again!
If you love the jeans wear the jeans, sometimes we get the impression the fit is not good, maybe you’re not used to have it baggy around the area you think it is. I think it looks good 😌 I am size 26-27 and depending on the maker 28 BDG fits small. It depends.. Free yourself wear it!!💕
Will do! Off the top of my head, I’d definitely recommend the express body contour line! I have a few bodysuits from that line and I always reach for them first!

I can confirm this! Curve love has an extra 2” through the hip and thigh, so if that’s the part that is too loose than get the regular size 👍👍
Sooooo helpful!! Glad I’m not the only one! Thank you!!!
Thanks girl!!! Appreciate your help! 🥰
Awww the little tan gingham picnic dress is everything :)
It’s so cute right!?!?
They do have that bodysuit without the boning! I have two in black and one in white! They’re my fave bodysuits!
Hi! Definitely try the regular fit instead of curve love in the relaxed jeans. You’ll get the more fitted look in the hip that you’re looking for.
Yeah I think for the relaxed fit I’ll need the non curve love!
This is so helpful! I was debating which style to go with. I'm 31 in waist and 43 in hips. 5'7. Thanks for sharing your knowledge 🙏🏽
Same thing happened to me with the relaxed fit! Definitely go with the regular ones. I’m learning they get baggier with every use. Curve love ones are way to wide in the legs!
Thanks for the advice!!! So helpful!
The black jeans are way cute, keep them!
The dresses, adorable!
Always love all your hauls 💚
Awww thanks so much!!! ♥️♥️♥️

Where did you get your apple watch band?
Do you have the link to the Princess Polly trousers you mentioned? Thank you!!
Yes! Thank you for reminding me! Here’s it is: go.magik.ly/ml/1gtga

Thinking of getting some of these pieces they look great on you! What is your height and weight im trying to decide between the XS or S
Thank you! I’m 5’3.5 and 117 lbs.
Jeans are so difficult to shop for 😓 loved this haul!
I know right!??? Aww thanks 🥰
I've noticed that recently all of the curve love fit really big. I used to get the curve love and it was perfect. I think they made it bigger
Hmmm maybe you’re right!! I was thinking it was just the relaxed jeans but I’m not sure 😅
I really don't know how to feel about this? Especially after seeing the documentary of that brand on Netflix.

I showed one of them in my last express video! 🥰
