Hi Rick, I don't know what kind of wooden box you mean behind the loader hatch. We didn't have a wooden box. Could you make a short video about all the colors, the manufacturers of the colors, the article number, the primer and the clear coat that you use on german army vehicles. And please explain again why you paint the whole edges black first, like with the howitzer. I think it was there. And if you make a video then show me the wooden box on the tank. And also the dilution you take
I just posted the video on how I paint modern Bundeswehr paint patterns. I hope it helps. I also just ordered a meng Leopard 2a4 I plan to build and put on a display.
I actually have both kits that I have not built and looked at that. You can almost do it with the 7+ but there are several PE part needed. If you combine kits it looks like like it would work correctly.
@@Ricks135scalemodels well, i think about to buy both kits and try it. As much as i could see on the video from the Bundeswehr itself the only optical seable difference between the A7 and A7V is the additional armor on the hull front... ruclips.net/video/UQztUEGZT8Y/видео.html

@@Ricks135scalemodels Thanks SO MUCH! The worst part of tank making for me is the antennas. I can never heat up 2 sprues to match. Hobby Lobby is right down the street. I will take a look. PS: your Leopards look great. The Hobby Boss Merkava 4 came with a small PE piece that I guess was to be used as a laptop up by the commanders hatch. It had no detail to it though. I never put it on.
It's a hard model for as beginner but it can be done. Just go slow and check your work before you glue. The parts fit together very nicely. It's a very well made kit.
I have built their T90A and A39 several years ago, not sure if the new kits are better, but even those very early kits from meng have really good quality, definitely 9/10 level. It is clearly more complex than typical tamiyas, but fits together super good. The only downside I can find is the material, it is more crispy than some brands like tamiya, afv or dragon, pay some attention to those small parts.
My most FRUSTRATING kit EVER! I am talking about the tracks of course. I have had this kit since November but have not built it because of the flipping tracks. I have spent hours on them. At first I made them like the instructions showed - 6 at a time in the holder. I watched a vid by a guy who showed that he glued some of them together s they would stop falling apart. But then I wondered how I was going to attach them together because one side does NOT have a hook. So I went back and watched that video again and the guy was only making them 5 at a time, which left a hook on BOTH ends to attach. But I had already glued the end tracks on 6 sets so now I cannot take them apart to have both ends hooked. I watched another vid and the guy was doing the same thing, only 5 tracks per holder, which left a hook on each end. I guess I am going to have to super glue the edges together. Am I reading the instructions wrong? Do you remember how you built your tracks - 5 at a time or 6?
I'm actually building this same kit right now. I just built 1 side and starting the other. I did 5 so there's a Ling needed on each side. A suggestion. If you have links still. Just cut them so you can place center in then slide ends on hole on each side. I love how they look but the assembly is, well, crap!!
@@spiritualarchitect4276 they are the same process. I build the string. Then use liquid glue to glue the long runs and just leave parts that bend free. I glue them when it's time to install
Very nice model, very nicely built. The colors are also 100 percent correct. But that's not how the A7 will get into the German army. The Germans have the A7V. It won't have the fat chain cover.

Wire antennas? Where does one find straight wire that is not bent?
I get them at my local hobby shop but I have seen them at hobby lobby and many online stores.
