You say that you’d take the fork and shock on the Rerode vs all others. Does that mean out of the box with no set-up / dialing in?
What do you mean by setup? We always adjust the preload and rebound on any suspension we try to what we prefer
@@Talariaboys I mean setting the Sag (spring preload), Compression and Rebound damping. So many people don't do this and complain about how bad their stock suspension is. I also find that it can take 800-1000 km for most forks and shocks to fully break in, which requires re-setting these parameters a couple times before reaching that point.

Hey guys, love the cool vidz!!! Got a quick question, what would be the best bike overall in the 3 to 4 grand range? I really like the Talaria XXX and the Rawrr Mantis but wasn't sure if you guys knew of anything better overall. It's going to be my first emoto/ebike and just wanted to get the best in that price range considering the speed, range, and handling, figured yall could help. Thanks.
The Talaria XXX is amazing for the price! Ive heard good things about the new Mantis X but Id stay away from the older Mantis
I need range tests at max speed on stock components as I want to use it to commute in the rougher/tighter traffic areas in the DFW area. Like tow the bike to near the city and ride it the rest of the way in as I can go on sidewalks/bike trails to get where I need to faster than a cager.
So eride pro ss 2.0, max range wide open after 500 miles.....I'm steadily getting roughly 25.6 miles wot. This thing makes the commute nice as I can swap between bike and car paths with ease.

At 6'3" what is the best sized emoto for 6'1" to 6'3" riders. MTB have such a great way of sizing I get it with these bikes but what do you recommend for bigger sized riders in terms of cockpit?
I'd say that you'd do good with a Surron ultra bee. There aren't many Surron like bikes that are for bigger riders.
4:37 That dude is also 6'3. If you're not wanting to go with the bigger form factor of the Surron Ultra Bee and want to stay in the 'play bike' category, the Talaria Sting R is the largest and tallest of these small bikes.
I'm 6'1 and I feel like my ERP SS is a little too small for me. I can't grip the bike with my legs when I stand up and it's a pain in the ass. I'm going to get the drop bracket and new pegs over the winter, but I don't think they'll drop enough to let me grab the bike like I need to.
There's a new battery system coming out (there are probably a number of them) that raises the battery cover a few inches. I might end up going that route, but that's an expensive "fix".
The ERP SS is the biggest of the Sur-Ron-type of bikes. The Ultra Bee is definitely more of a regular sized motocross bike (125 if I remember correctly) compared to the others that I've seen.
@@BrassStacks I thought the Talaria was the biggest of the "Surron-type" bikes? I could very well be wrong, as I haven't sat on one myself. But yes, my friend's Eride Pro SS was noticeable larger than my Surron LBX when I sat on it and took it for a spin.
Yeah, Ultra Bee has a 35.8" seat height and overall size sorta puts it in another category.
I'm only 5'6, but I kinda want an Ultra Bee to convert to a street-legal supermoto!! Would be suuuch a blast.
@@jasper_of_puppets I haven't seen all of the Talaria bikes in person but my ERP SS was bigger than the X3 I've seen. Maybe the MX4 is bigger.
At some point I got the impression that the ERP SS was the biggest, and when I saw it next to the UB I knew I had to go the way I did. If one of the Talaria bikes is bigger I can't imagine it's by much. For someone like OP I think they would have to go with the UB, unless they're like me and their body is just too broken to ride a heavier bike.

The most powerful one is the Ventus one. With 21,000 W an Eride pro has 12,000 W
