Winter wedding at Harrington Farm with snow on the ground

Having photographed Tom and Rachel‘s engagement shoot, I knew we were in for a great day. They did not disappoint. Everything from the getting ready straight through to the last dance. Everything took place at Harrington Farm in Princeton, Massachusetts. With there being an inch of snow on the ground, we had some great backgrounds to work with. The girls were getting ready in one room while the fellas were right down the hall. We had some nice soft light to get some very interesting portraits and great moments. It’s always nice when a friend conducts the ceremony as they can add a personal touch. In all my weddings, I’ve seen few couples who truly enjoy being with each other as much as they did. They were so happy and laughing the entire day. Not many brides would be out in the cold winter evening in a sleeveless dress. I’m so glad Rachel chose to do so, as we got some really great imagery. I knew right away that it was going to be a great dance crowd when they had a band. The dance floor is packed all night They even had the bride's brother stand in and play a couple of tunes on the keyboard. It was the perfect combination of the candid, photo journalistic imagery, combined with some great portraits. I’m so glad I was able to be part of the day.
