I don't think so because you are showing something that a regular user can face out of the box and after that a solution to the problem with a good explanation and the "real" capability

as a year long Xgimi Horizon Ultra owner I can say from watching this internally the device has to be nearly the same (except the 240hz)and Id wager they probably share many parts if there was a tear-down. so for 600 dollars less this is probably an amazing deal. my Horizon ultra has all those "AI" features but last year before you had to call them AI. the eye detection, and keystone on movement are annoying and you probably disable them like I did. If I didnt have basically a more expensive (but maybe slightly worse 60hz) version off this projector Id buy it in a heartbeat.
Well I ordered mines last night. I was able to get it at $1182 so I was able to get in on the Early order sale just waiting for it to get here. I have to wait 5 to 7 days but I am excited. One question, can I seal and mount this unit?
who told you that you will wait 5-7 days for delivery? Their website only states that shipments should start at the end of November and then you have to add a delivery time of usually a few days. In addition, the projector is still on pre-sale and cannot be purchased immediately.
@tomj.4464 I received an email from them about 43 minutes after I purchased. They said it would be 5 to 7 days and because it's coming through Georgia it is going to be coming to me USPS. When I checked on the website today it was at regular price so I had just barely made it. What I will do is copy and paste what they sent me. I'll have my son to do it because I don't know how and I will send it to you where they show the 5 to 7 days
@tomj.4464 One other thing, they may have expedited my order because this is not my first Mexico projector. I have a pj40 that I ordered back in July. As a matter of fact, that is the one that's in my theater as we speak. I don't know if that had anything to do with it. But again like I said I will get my son to copy and paste what they sent me so that I can show it to you
@@ranman7729 Thank you for your quick reply. I am very happy because there is a chance that my order will be shipped soon. I ordered almost 2 weeks ago with shipping to Europe. AI is Sam Altman... New technology is the same cool progression of software capability, before him . It's not AI, it's new tech that useses sams ideas. Cool
Personally I'd rather get a 85" TV at that price. Then again... It's much harder to move around, so I can see the uses for this if a permanent install isn't needed.
I don't like/need the auto features in a projector. It's just reduces the performance and image quality of the output. Best is the manually align the projector the screen, zoom, autofocus, and keystone
It does seem like a pretty decent projector, especially for the early access pricing. I think companies need to drop the “AI” label though cuz it does feel like just an attempt to jump onto the hype of that buzzword
I just don't see the point of the earlybird pricing other than tricking reviewers to giving it higher remarks than it does. Sure, at earlybird it would be good, but since most people miss that, for them it is really not a good option.

as a year long Xgimi Horizon Ultra owner I can say from watching this internally the device has to be nearly the same (except the 240hz)and Id wager they probably share many parts if there was a tear-down. so for 600 dollars less this is probably an amazing deal. my Horizon ultra has all those "AI" features but last year before you had to call them AI. the eye detection, and keystone on movement are annoying and you probably disable them like I did. If I didnt have basically a more expensive (but maybe slightly worse 60hz) version off this projector Id buy it in a heartbeat.
10:41 best game ever!
"ensure the room temperature does not exceed 77F (25C) during use" so this thing is useless between the months of april and october where I live
I will write them an email asking about my delivery. I hope that both you and I will be very happy with the purchase. I have a feeling that future software updates will make this model a dark horse in its price category. I have already read that they plan to increase the contrast and optimize the black level and dark scenes performance. I can't wait! Best regards.
Hey is good for you?
this projector is nice, but the hisence c2 which he had in the pool is better and the valerion master projector is beating the sh*t of these projectors with the kick starter prices
I just looked only the Valerion plus is close in price is there something I’m missing?
@diyoutube6061 there are 4 models
Ya for nexigo I don't recommend valerion but he made a video with hisense for his pool it's better than that and xgimi max is far behind these
Wow, the rainbow banding in Counter-Strike is huge.
3:13 good drip!
You should have gone more places and used walls as a screen to test the AI recognition more.
8:49 you can really see the rainbow thing linus talking about
Rainbow crab
For me that is distracting
1:48 is that a fire stick? that thing will overheat, bro.
I haven't LOL'd at a video in a bit, but calling out home depot for screw drivers got me.
it is BEYOND STUPID to see that MKBHDs "Drama" even swapped over to this channel. People are trying *so BLOODY hard* to be funny with their speeding comments. I am annoyed and very sorry for humanity at this point.
Ok this might be a low-budget take, but could you guys also test projectors against a plain ol' white wall? Especially since most projectors seem to come with white-wall-correction modes.
Can you sometimes maybe make a RUclips video where you review/show the best projectors for different price ranges?
Emotional Support Brick.
Thanks for putting metric up, those other numbers are for the holdbacks.
Ohh 3d too, actually cool. Don't tell the haters.
AI is Sam Altman... New technology is the same cool progression of software capability, before him . It's not AI, it's new tech that useses sams ideas. Cool
The RGB splitting is a dealbreaker for me
LOL lets use the same protector twice - sales team must have got a great bonus there...........
Personally I'd rather get a 85" TV at that price. Then again... It's much harder to move around, so I can see the uses for this if a permanent install isn't needed.
That is some quality sponsored video. GJ
with that game mode, I can see clearly visible rainbow through the youtube video and the camera. Yeah, this is not a gaming projector
Why does Bell sound like he's speaking into a SM7B, even when in shot?
He has the narrator curse
the camera guy in the bottom left of the screen was tripping me out during the dark scenes
I’ve been patiently waiting for a 4k projector with low latency at 120 Hz, I’m guessing it wont be widely available for years
petition for linus to change the CS2 standard P2000 to the USP-S
ever since linus stepped down from his top man role, he always has time to do his hair
you can see the DLP rainbow at the end of the video during the counterstrike demo. its very hard on the eyes when you're playing fps
that projector would be amazing for games like rimworld.
If only there was a place to get a screwdriver? I know Ifixit our sponsor. Wait...
I don't like/need the auto features in a projector. It's just reduces the performance and image quality of the output. Best is the manually align the projector the screen, zoom, autofocus, and keystone
Nah Linus you need to look at the ai in valerion projectors, that’s been the standard lately.
It does seem like a pretty decent projector, especially for the early access pricing. I think companies need to drop the “AI” label though cuz it does feel like just an attempt to jump onto the hype of that buzzword
i love how none of those features are AI. all that stuff is just a fancy loop.
Sponsored video : Let's see that honest review then? Yeah...Thought not.
I want to see it placed far and off axis to see what the auto keystone does.
Y'all should explain what keystone is next time
Linus Awesome Pant 😎
ONE thing missing, how loud are the fans or the pixel shifting mechanism? because that can be a real bummer like on the mars pro2
I'll stick to my vpl-hw45es. Saw them used for ~800$ seems like a steal.
I just don't see the point of the earlybird pricing other than tricking reviewers to giving it higher remarks than it does. Sure, at earlybird it would be good, but since most people miss that, for them it is really not a good option.
9:38 That's pretty intuitive.
