Oct. 22, 2021---Thanks for the video, but I'm looking at this kit in a different way. Got back into modeling, but going for zombie/apocalypse dioramas and thinking of attempting to use the frame and sheet styrene to make VW's The Thing version.
I'm starting {or was} to use the Vallejo Metal Colors more. I like them over than the Mig metals, more realistic to me. "Did I ruin the model?" HA! I was right at the edge of my seat in suspense! That was funny. The figures did come out very good. The KW looks real good Martin, I really like what you did to the windscreen and the front spare. It'll be a perfect edition to the dio. VERY NICE!
First yeah! 😂 Very nice job Martin. All those nice touch’s really make it.Really love the windscreen, arch’s, and the Tamiya tape for the leather grips 👏😍👍 Feel free to share your utube video on StrikeEagleModels on Facebook mate 😉
Great job. I have the older Tamiya Kubelwagen kit and sadly the instructions do not show any decal placement nor what some decals represent so I am trying to find videos on the proper placement but also what they represent. The Afrika Corp ones are the only ones I recognize. My Kubelwagen is going to be used in a diorama that takes place after D-Day.
Thank you, much appreciated. Will you be posting videos of your Kubelwagen and diorama coming together? My Kubelwagen went into a diorama....here's the video of the diorama that I made.....lots of scratch-built items within: Table, pallets, crates, tarpaulins, rags, tools, camouflage netting, the base, ladders, red covers for the engine inlets, the framework and tarpaulin on my 3 Ton Cargo Truck....that's what I can remember, there could be more?! Cheers : ) Diorama Video Link: ruclips.net/video/IjlP7dh1JRA/видео.html
Sadly I am not good at shooting videos. I have pictures of the figures and vehicle on my Facebook page but that is about it. If you're on there look up my profile and send ne a friend request.
Nice, Martin. Perhaps WL license plates would have been the better choice for a vehicle in a LOVEwaffe diorama? Also, late war with a Me-262, the swastika "bullseye" covering the spare might have been deleted?.
Thanks Lawrence, much appreciated. Yes, I was supposed to put WL license plates onto the model....my friend who sent me the model, included decals that had that option...after posting my "Final Reveal" photos on Facebook...he messaged me to ask why I didn't put them on....total brain fart, that I think is because I'm under pressure to get my diorama completed by February 28th and I still have a 1/32 Me 262 to complete, a 3 Ton 4x2 Cargo truck with all the accessories that come with it, 7 figures ( two Pilots and Ground personnel), and, scratch build 4 wooden pallets, a wooden bench, wooden steps and a wooden ladder!! Long days and nights are getting to me. It's easy enough just to put the WL plates over the WH plates, although they won't match with the rest of the markings on the vehicle. Cheers :)
@@InternationalBritishModeler WOW! You’re into the LOVEwaffe Group Build with both feet and then some. With only 28 days in February can you file for an extension into March? Good luck. I’m counting on you to complete everything as planned.

@@InternationalBritishModeler Keep up the great work
@@InternationalBritishModeler You sometimes see the divisional markings horse within a horse shoe when you see footage from the battle of Stalingrad.

Is it allowed to put this symbol here ?
Are "Swaztika" symbols allowed to be shown in tv documentaries and war movies?
