You need to watch this kind of videos to understand why some products like Cashew nuts are so damn expensive! Hats off to all the farmers who spend their entire day in the farms for you to enjoy that packet of cashew nuts and many other products!

Oh yes. Also a messy job. The oil from the seeds outer covering will slowly burn your skin if you are not careful. The juice from that fruit will leave you a permanent stain on your clothes.
I have 2 cashew trees in my back yard and its currently flowersing. They taste really good especially in chow. I live in Trinidad btw. I have the red and Yellow..😁😁😁😁
I can't believe you throw away the cashews. They are delicious, one of the best sources of vitamin C and fibers, and great for making juices, jams and even liquors.

Cashew trees are growing wild on hilly slopes, in our beautiful State of Goa, India. Having been a Portuguese Colony for over 450 years, several varieties of Cashew trees were brought into Goa by the Colonials from the Amazon region in South America, for primarily binding up erroding soil from hilly slopes due to the annual heavy Monsoon Rains. The Cashew Trees were indeed happy with Goa's tropical climate and the cashew harvest soon exploded. Over the past centuries, Goans quickly exploited the cashew nut and its bell-shaped succulent fruit for extracting Neerô (fresh juice), Urràkà (first fermented & distilled, very refreshing but, mild Liquor [excellent with lemonade or lime]. The second distillation produced Cajèl [a slightly pinkish Liquor, often used for settling loose stomach upsets and the common cold]. The final distillation process has given Goa, her now famous, Fèni Liquor [produced nowhere else and now, proudly having a Global Indicator tag]. Saud! Cheers!
Not just goa but lot in coastal Karnataka and Kerala but sadly it's getting rare now as not yearly crop so all factory s import raw nuts and process that s what u get in market
Excellent demonstration and keep it up. Thank you. Please let me know where is this cultivation done and how long does it take to fruit on planting. Regards Joseph
What we take for granted. God bless the farmers, never knew how they grew, or harvest this great nut. I’m forever changed. Eat them all the time. ♥️♥️🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸grateful and blessed
I have heard that the fruit part (the cashew apple) is very tasty. In some countries they make it into juice and it tastes kind of sweet/sour. Apparently they can't ship the cashew apples because they spoil quickly after the nut is removed. Fascinating process.
En Nicaragua se llama Marañón no es agridulce , es muy dulce y es riquísima, hay en color rojo y amarillo , se utiliza la fruta para zumos y mermeladas . Un saludo desde Zaragoza España.
Actually you can cook the fruit, it just need to smash and squeeze the juice out and then rinse until the water clear. After that you can fry or stir fry, with some seasoning. It’s teste better than chicken
We should turn CHT and some places of Sylhet and Rangpur and Nilphamari into next Vietnam in Cashew Nut production. They probably earn $9 billion by exporting Cashew nuts. There is no reason we cannot do it as well.
Here in the Philippines cashew trees are so big round and tall growing way up up to 10ft high I’m surprised to see yours small maybe marcita but same high yielding

Here in the Caribbean in addition to harvesting the nut, we preserve the fruit & use them in liqueurs & deserts. Very powerful fruit.
Here in Goa, India too we does make liquers using Cashew Apple.
