The more I learn the more I know I don't know and the more I hear and understand that networking is very important. This video has all the ingredients that anyone trying to get into security needs to hear and understand, thank you Day for the highlights they are well appreciated 🙂.
Really liked the advice of getting involved in clubs, discord servers and overall getting involved in the community because it really helps to share your knowledge with people who are just starting out in cybersecurity, but it helps you to continue to level up. Additionally, I really like the dive in approach such as even though it may feel daunting to apply or pursue a field in cybersecurity, the advice of building your professional network through posting blogs and other types of content really serves as a great conversation starter and keeps me motivated and passionate to keep learning and striving to give back to the community and level up. One other take that I really like is that there isn’t’ just one avenue into breaking into cybersecurity such as it really is choose your own adventure and make your own story which I find really interesting and fascinating. Overall, definitely really liked this videos and always come back to the shorts for advice and reference! Thank you my man and keep up the great work!
Who is the guy talking around the 34 minute mark? As a Marine going into the cybersecurity field I would love to reach out and connect with him. Any introduction or point of contact information would be greatly appreciated! Keep up the great content, I love your channel!
