Really wish more people started using their 3ds again. My teenage years were not good so i really didnt enjoy the 3ds as i souldve, missing many tittle releases that wouldve one day made me excited. Got a new 3ds xl a year sgo and decided to mod it and the 3ds is just unique. The 3d effect gives 3d titles a whole new vibe and is something no other console has achieved. I even have a steamdeck but the personality of the 3ds is still unmatched.
i totally agree :( my childhood 3ds gave out and i bought a new one around 2019, but even then i was complaining about how much i missed streetpass and i would just never be able to get it done again because no one carried their 3ds around anymore
In my teen years I've never owned a 3ds, but my brither did (a DSi). I've bought myself a 3ds xl, homebrewed it and now I'm experiencing everything i couldn't. It's sad that no one is playing their 3ds anymore (in my area at least)
I got them from the Badge Arcade game before the shut down the servers! you might still be able to get them as custom badges if you have custom firmware though!

Keep the love alive for the whole 3DS family of gamong consoles. Not everyone is Switch bound, even though both consoles could've easily co-existed.

i would highly recommend doing that! it's just so fun, and there are so many cute accessories for the 3ds, even more than for the switch imo
I think that the smaller new 3DS looks better than the new 3DS XL. I have both and I personally prefer the smaller one.
This has just convinced me to get a new 3ds, right after i modded a regular one :')

i think they’re just custom badges! if you mod your 3ds you can download them online using a tutorial. i did it and it’s pretty easy
