Hey Nathalie. Beide Orte sind total verschieden. Im Val Campo liegt der schönste See. Im Verzascatal sind so viele tolle Dörfer, der beste Badeort in der Natur und dann noch alle Grottos. Ich versuche jedes Jahr ins Verzascatal zu gehen. Einfach perfekt dort!

There was only this yellow jacket I could get at the nearby shop. I also think it goes well with the Autumn colors and it marks a good contrast to snow, although back then, I wasn't aware of it. I am kind of glad, the sudden weather change forced me to buy this jacket. I guess you are enjoying paradise over there? I wish to visit Hawaii some time again.

Bundi. Thank you for your comment Dina. There are buses that reach out to pretty much every location. Though, hiking up is a lot more beautiful than taking the bus. You are right, we have a lot of different dialects and languages that are well preserved.

What a contemplative/meditative place! I would love to see it too, in the early spring when the larch trees are their brightest green. I'm wondering--in these remote places do you typically find the surroundings quite pristine or do people leave the ubiquitous trash that is so common (at least here in the US and Mexico)? Ever since I saw a garbage collector in Lugano get on his hands and knees to pick up a small piece of paper that went under the back of the truck when unloading a trash bin, I can't walk across a parking lot anywhere without picking up after my careless fellow citizens. Perhaps it's my Swiss roots! I just hope visitors who happen along these amazing places are respectful and not careless with their trash--even if they are not Swiss.
Hi Tom. When I was up at the Lake Saoseo it was indeed very clean. I did not see any trash. I guess the fact that one has to hike up there already cancels out a lot of potential visitors who would care little about the environment. I can't speak for other countries, but in here I would say, we have a good culture of keeping places clean... and yet, there is still potential for improvement, as waste at beautiful sites is still left by certain people (intentionally or unintentionally).
