A sincere thank you for the tour; it was a pleasure to see close up the attention to detail you've lavished on the design and construction of your TARDIS. Clearly, a labour of love.
Absolutely stunning and thank you for spurring me on to upgrade my own TARDIS with this video. I don't normally watch fan films but I like yours, I've written a lot of fanfic scripts, it'd be so much fun to be in one lol.
Still to this day I imagine myself walking into this console room well the most updated console because I love this console so much because even though I grew up with the Matt Smith console I also grew up with the many console rooms used in this series as well
My future was planned out a long time ago. 1.Buy a warehouse 2.Spend about 3 years making an interior by myself. Hopefully I won't get crushed by something 3.Wait another 50 years and hope that before I die I can timetravel back to when I first complete the interior and then help myself with the time travel. 4.Go into the future and team up with 3 super smart people and create a bigger on the inside formula. 5.Hope that everything works and that in one of my Parrellel excistances I break through the wall between the universes and save myself from writing this. FYI that last really let me down. I have to write this extra FYI section.
Your videos are great to watch and i cant tell you a great writer and actor. But i miss jes. I love watching these in between the real bbc epsodes of doctor who. Love you vids and thanks.
You've inspired me to make my own series. I'm just concerned with the console room. You've put so much detail into your console and the room itself that I don't know how to compete without looking like a blatant knock-off. I've probably typed this exact comment on a couple of other videos... I don't remember. Wibbly wobbly and all that.
+Adam-Matic Gaming Also, if you wouldn't mind, what are some of the dimensions of your console. I just want to know because the console used in the show is gargantuan and yours is a nice size. I'd specifically like to know the width of both the top and bottom sides of the panels. Thanks!
What would be cool to add for probably "Offline" use is to add speakers inside the console emitting the tardis sound or emergency sound everytime you press a button or pull the dematerialization lever and make the lantern on the tardis light up if it doent already!!!!!!!
Love the work you've done in constantly updating your Tardis. Shows a lot of love and care. When you regenerate, whenever that is, will your successor keep your Tardis?
How do your levers make the ratchet sound when they're pulled up and down? The levers on my console just rotate on a piece of dowel, but your demat lever and 60's levers make an awesome sound when you pull them.
Here's a technical question: what did you use to make the time rotor move? What type of motor, did you use variable power adapters, and does it spin or move up and down?
....AND the roundels on the bottom of the console can act as filters for the speaker so it isnt muffled by the inner wall of the console surrounding the light fixture area inside the console
Hi I was wondering do you have the plans for the console and or the room? Because I was thinking on making something like this but my own custom version :) Also awesome video, Tardis and console room!!! I cant stop watching it over and over dreaming on having something like this..... XD
I'm gonna build my own and base it slightly to your Luke because I admire it so much Oh and also what did you use to make your title sequence because I'm planning to make my own intro
Thats VERY beautiful! I am hoping to build my own TARDIS and console room for my own fan series I have been planning (but it would be a replica of Smith's TARDIS) I'm American so money is different for me...but I MUST ask. About how much did it cost you to do this in total? And how long did it take to build? I really need all of the advice and pointers I can get! Again, it is utterly beautiful! I love it!
Brandon Dyer I lost count with budget! probably close to £1000 but bare in mind it's been revamped twice... you can build a console for cheap, i spent £60 on wood just to get the structure :) and only took a month to build the console, but that depends how much time you have on your hands and how much money :) but thanks!!!
Ahh okay! I'll have too see what that would be in US Dollars....how much was the shed you used? I was hoping to build into one a bit bigger than your's.
Every British man dreams...of his own Tardis! Beautiful work my friend! 😊👏👏👏👏👏👏
This is one of, if not, the best and cleanest looking fan made tardis I've seen. Fantastic work!
So many buttons and switches!!!! I would never leave if you invited me to your house XD.
house as in what the earthlings call house or TARDIS
Timelord Adventures Yes
I'm absolutely loving all the references to Hartnell you put into this :)
Jeremy Xu Thanks! :D glad someone noticed the references :) i put so many into the TARDIS and the series, hardly anyone notices!
Just a quick question.. Are you currently on Whovians Amino?
If not, someone is claiming to be you.
@@DW2012 hi I have a question how do you make your sonic screwdrivers??
How much did that cost, cause that TARDIS is absolutely brilliant
I need to know too
Shaun Melrose He built it, so problably a lot of money
It cost £1000
Looking at every detail, I think about 15000€ and even more time.
how much does it cost?
yes.
I've seen loads of comments saying "how did you make it bigger on the inside" lol 😂
+Michael Miller Timelord tech XD
Michael Miller he has a shed behind the police box
Tiernan Ennis I know haha, I was stating that other people didn't haha
I know right ,clearly it’s dimensional engineering
@@hugodashi9209 Yaz: You can't engineer dimensions

For 300K to be your most popular video is an absolute crime. You deserve so much more credit
Absolutely stunning and thank you for spurring me on to upgrade my own TARDIS with this video.

I got to be a part of a Ghostbusters fan film a few years ago and even though I had no lines, I still got a few seconds of close-ups. Lots of fun!
Words cannot explain this extraordinary build. Absolutely amazing. This HAS to be a future interior.
An amazing piece of artwork!
Great job

I give it 5 stars, a like and added to my favourites
Really like it how there is something from each tarids!!
A big panel with buttons. All I ever wanted as a child.

That's REALLY COOL!!! I CAN SEE MYSELF SETTING THINGS UP SO I NEVER HAVE TO LEAVE IT!!!
I would LOVE this console in the new series.
that tardis is fantastic well done
Love it! A fan boys dream.

Josh Ziv lol
You do know how many paradoxes that would cause? Its called the “Bootstrap Paradox”, google it.
This was amazing, good job man. Love the details
Nicely done, although I do miss the "twinkling mushroom of doom" with all those buttons. I miss the thousand button console.
Your videos are great to watch and i cant tell you a great writer and actor. But i miss jes. I love watching these in between the real bbc epsodes of doctor who. Love you vids and thanks.
I love that tardis console it is amazing .

this is awesome but long did it take you to make this?
Dude I wish I had the attention span!! I respect for that tardis!!!!
This is amazing I can't believe you built this I'm SOOOOO jealous
He should really tell us how to build a Tardis console. That would be very interesting. :)
VERY nice! Great job!
This is SOOOOOO COOL!
Absolutely amazing.
A True Blue work of Art !

How do your levers make the ratchet sound when they're pulled up and down?
The levers on my console just rotate on a piece of dowel, but your demat lever and 60's levers make an awesome sound when you pull them.
Where did you get the equipment to build the levers? Can you do some building tutorials?
It looks great! I am extremely impressed. =) Keep up the good work!
A new tour would be so much appreciate
Here's a technical question: what did you use to make the time rotor move? What type of motor, did you use variable power adapters, and does it spin or move up and down?
I love his videos when he does a tour
This is freaking awesome! Great job, DoctorWho2012! :)
The round things! I LOVE the round things!
I love this am trying to get my step dad to build on for me!
It looks fantastic!
This is just amazing!!
....AND the roundels on the bottom of the console can act as filters for the speaker so it isnt muffled by the inner wall of the console surrounding the light fixture area inside the console
Something ancient. Something new. Something borrowed. Something blue.
Luke, I hate to give you another question like this to answer, but the toggles at 4:10 how did you make/where did you buy them?
Clippy okay this is 5 years late I know but they appear to me to be from guitars
@@rometais7178 Guitars ?
Askor yes electric guitar switches
sorryfor being late but guitar pickup mic switches
Hi Dr. Who2012! Could you please tell me the measurements for your console? I want to build one too. Thanks!
The toolbox where the sonic screwdriver that the doctor has used over the years....nice touch....my sonic screwdriver broke so I need a new one
If you have the time, maybe build a life size police box with a picture of the interior
Looks like you had a lot of fun with this. You really should fit a genuine flux capacitor tho... [yes, I know]
Love the round things...
Soooooo jealous amazing Tardis :)
Looks fab great work, tardis is the next project of mine once I finish my cyberman project.
Love the tardis I wish I could make something like that can you make a tutorial for us pls
Dude.Dude. YOU ARE AWESOME !!!

If only I could do something like that. Also, wouldn't the shields and stabilisers be on the helm?
What happened to the Roundels?
You mister deserve a cookie.

Looks so good
That is incredible
This is fantastic
Great TARDIS 👍
Couple questions 😄
1: How much have you spent on this
2: how much power does your tardis use
I M 3 7 he says he lost track of how much but maybe around £1000
Thats VERY beautiful! I am hoping to build my own TARDIS and console room for my own fan series I have been planning (but it would be a replica of Smith's TARDIS)

Brandon Dyer £1000 is around $1500 USD, give or take a couple of hundred bucks.
Brandon Dyer It's $1517, as of 5-5-15 :-).
DoctorWho2012 Hey it would be cool if you made a replica of the copper theme and show it just like this one if you have the room and time ;)
The TARDIS is so cool how do you come up with this!!
HOW ARE YOU SO GOOD AT BUILDING??? I want one! Only problem is I’d have to make it myself so that’s a never for me :( dreams remain dreams sometimes.
hey DoctorWho2012 how much money did this cost? not including the shed because i have my own tardis and i want it just like yours. great vid.
NICELY DONE
But are you sponsored?
I really like your serie, I wanted to know how you did the afternoon and your cosole room.
I am so jealous, how do you do that, it's amazing !!!!!!!!!!!
