They kept running the ball the first two downs they get into 3rd and long and then Green Bay did a crazy look blitz and it the pressure was never picked up, you think they would go back to short passes to get Stroud in rhythm because he was def missing throws this game

Yes, Packers were terrific in pass defense. But, Joe Mixon seemed to run wild most of the game. This begs the question...Is Mixon that good or was the Packers rush defense underperforming?
Huh? Mixon ran for 159 week 1, got hurt against the Bears missed the next 4 games came back against the Pats and ran for over 100 again.

Yesterday's game told me less about Stroud and more about the Packers. Their coverage was fantastic all afternoon and they mixed in perfectly timed blitzes. Shanahan offenses are built on timing and when a great defense can disrupt it, things fall apart fast. Tough conditions for any QB, let alone one who's only made 25 starts.
Houston is unraveling before our eyes. 😂
What about the drops
Stroud can't win against any decent defense. The texans haven't beaten anyone good the past 2 years...

Houston lost by 2 points. Nico alone covers those points let alone the 7 starters being out on defense that woulda kept even closer😂
The packers had three turnovers, and they still somehow won.

The Packers had 3 turnovers basically most in the packers rezone. Nico being out did affect the stretching of the field but it should not be a deciding factor. They still had Dell, Digs, Shultz. They were in this game and well could have won it. The O line was horrible that didn't help a lot.

@@Beserker-dw4ic bud………it was a 2 point difference nico was the best wr in the league by a multiple game margin him alone woulda been EASILY enough to cover 2 points by getting them in field goal range bare minimum 1 more time and Nico doesn’t drop that touchdown Dell dropped that woulda also won the game….
They were all being really physical with Stroud, he took a couple cheap shots at the end of plays, felt like that got in his head on a lot of his decision making
They got beat by the youngest team in the NFL, things are looking up for the Pack
This was by far the worst game Stroud has ever played. No doubt he will bounce back tho

@ianclark2785 Yeah he gives the props to the packers defense more so than stroud playing like trash straight up....stroud is lost without nico it showed last season
@@bmack8561 I think there is blame across the board, CJ Stroud didn’t ID the pass rushers and failed to alert the o-line of any blitzing defenders and the offensive line looked generationally bad, and CJ failed to get in a rhythm all game even on easy throws, play calling sucked but they it sucked because the o line couldn’t communicate a blitz so if this ur case for keeping Stroud down on your ranking so be it, it was really a cause and effect situation
