Just bought myself a 2003 Toyota Corolla LE with 67k miles today. Getting it on the road tomorrow and I am so excited to drive it till it can't no more. I'm 18 years old and am excited to run with it till I'm done with my teens.
This video fully explained that why is this car was a perfect starter for young buyers. I actually *love* this car, just because of it's simplicity and reliability...
Are you for reals? My neighbor is a mechanic & he is selling a his 03 Corolla, he raplaced the engine & it has somewhere around 70k on it, everything works, ac, windows, & mirros, the paint is faded, but i honestly don't care, I'm debating bc this would be my first car, any advice?
@@franklihuinac Get this or a 2002 Corolla. I have the 2002 Corolla and these things are reliable as hell. I'm kinda the fast driver type so I'm always racing my damn rolla and it has NEVER broken down on me. It's alot of fun to mess around, lol. My corolla has over 200,000 miles and no big issues so far. Get one!
Years later, this is my car at 19. Mine has 204,795 miles and I use it for Uber eats. Funniest part is that I constantly abuse and drive it like it’s a Ferrari and it refuses to die. Literally no engine problems & that’s why I love Toyota.
I swing my Camry in between traffic and drive fast it's got a 5 Speed Manual Transmission. But the majority of the time I drive either slow or 10 over the speed limit. I don't like to abuse my cars, it's also burning fuel when you drive fast.
+maria E. brennan my granddad had his for 14 years but just sold it last year for an Elantra, the only problem was the brakes, CRAZY HOW LONG THESE CARS LAST AM I RIGHT!!!!!
these cars will run a long time if you do the routine maintenance like change the oil every 3,000 miles with regular oil. flush the power steering fluid, flush the brake fluid, flush the radiator coolant and flush the transmission fluid every 50 to 60 thousand miles. you do all of that, and these cars could go 400,000 miles without any major issue. Toyota builds cars that last because they use the same engine and transmission for many years across many generations, which is why they are bullet proof in terms of reliability.
I ended up getting a 2004 Toyota Corolla LE and got the same interior. Thank you for making the video because it made up my mind on me getting the vehicle. I appreciate it !!

A mustang is a nice, fast and dependable car if you get the 4.0 V6 that’s awesome I know a bunch of guys who love theirs and they can be easily modded if your into fast cars. The Corolla is a good car but a mustang with 140k miles is just broken in and those cars go to 250k easily without major problems, I love my 04 silver Mustang I blacked out the rims and everything. Also if you get a V6 you can dual exhaust that and it will sound like a V8 because the 4.0 is a bigger engine than the previous V6

This isn’t even true... In 2003, power door locks only came standard for the S & LE. Power windows and keyless entry are standard for the LE exclusively. Everything else is either optional, included in a package, or simply not offered for some trims. Power windows and keyless entry were just package options for the S, while power door locks were the only option offered for the CE. Even through the final model year (2008), none of these features have ever been standard for the CE or S. Just google “2003 Corolla eBrochure pdf” and you’ll find every package and option available for each trim in full detail. So no, as far as the 9th generation goes these features aren’t offered on every Corolla.
This is a great car. I've got a 2004 and it has 202 k miles on it which isn't extremely high for a Toyota but heres the thing.. every component on the car still works besides cruise control. Now my infiniti g35 on the other hand is a 2003 and it only has 133 k miles .. a great car but it has ur typical luxury car laundry list of small issues. I would not hesitate to buy this generation of corolla used again , its a fairly ugly car in my opinion but its spacious on the inside for a compact and the cars just extremely well built.
TeslaPlays no that's not the reason I have the same car and mine has never come on for that reason and I've gone 1,000 miles over what is recommended to change the oil. if your check engine light is on in that car, it could be many things it could be something small or something big and you should always have it checked out asap. auto zone and advance auto parts has a electronic tool to read what error code is producing that check engine light they can check for you for free.
I see a check engine light that generation of corolla must be common for them to do that. We had a 2003 CE corolla we bought it used when it was around 1 year old and as the car got miles on it and aged some check engine light came on and was still on when car was seven years old and car was running pretty decent never did get it scanned but, was probably just a sensor. It was used for a work car but, always performed great did do some repair work here and there but, never very much really at all. Mainly oil changes and that was it. There was a brake hose I think they called it that had to be replaced once.
I just got an 03 with 99,600 miles a few months ago and paid $1,500. I upgraded the stereo to a Sony touch screen, put on new tires and new hubcaps. I'm coming up on 1,000 miles since I bought it. I'll probably keep it forever and add a new/newer RAV4.

Hi everybody,
where can I find pieces for this model of toyota?
This is a great car. I've got a 2004 and it has 202 k miles on it which isn't extremely high for a Toyota but heres the thing.. every component on the car still works besides cruise control. Now my infiniti g35 on the other hand is a 2003 and it only has 133 k miles .. a great car but it has ur typical luxury car laundry list of small issues. I would not hesitate to buy this generation of corolla used again , its a fairly ugly car in my opinion but its spacious on the inside for a compact and the cars just extremely well built.
Are they suppose to have a clicker in the le the a holes that sold me money didn't give me one
Yes, The LE models came standard with keyless entry (key fob with clicker).
This car last longer than most marriage/relationship
Want to buy a corvette as a weekend toy. Want to buy a corolla for the family. How good this idea is?
That's a perfect idea if you can afford it.
Toyotas are perfect family cars.
Do they all have vvti?
Why is the check engine light on?
Tells you to change the oil a few miles before its needed
How much to fix the broken hose?
Its been awhile back I really dont remember exactly but, for some reason I was thinking it was around 150-160 was everything the shop charged
He talking about them cup holder at 8:30 and how everyone thinks they are cheap but they're not that bad. They broke in my car
I got this car for my first car any mod suggestions for cheap?
KASHGAMING DON'T !!!
Good job!
Thankya
what camera are you using?
Does she still have it? How many miles?
it is gone. replaced with a 4 runner. you can see the 4 runner in the thanksgiving startup videos
She's better off doing what I did sell it at 239,000 get what you can and get new car I got a Camry just corollas don't die !
Where at mark? That's very cheap $1,500 for a 03 99,600 milles i am from Austin TX there's a 03 Toyota Corolla with 155k miles for 4k cash
Why is there a sienna
