This is the only one of my 10-minute Movie YTPs so far that didn't actually reach 10 minutes. Usually it goes into the 13-18 minute range, and I would edit it down from there, but I guess that's what I get for splitting a movie into two videos :P

The lack of any jokes using that scene is a joke in and of it's self. Viewers who are familiar with the movie are waiting to see where that scene goes, filled with nervous anticipation. Just as it builds to the scene, it doesn't happen. This leaves the viewer confused and oddly amused.

This was one of the YTPs that set the standards. It is hilarious from beginning to end.
Whenever I watch the movie, my mind often can’t draw the line between the actual jokes and the sentence mixes in this.

You know Gene Wilder (Wonka) was Jewish as well as Jack Albertson (Grandpa Joe) and Mel Stuart (the directer). And I know for a fact that Roald Dahl was anti Semitic.
