Valley the only problem I have with your APOC assessment is that for newer players, like myself, especially when you take into account the level boosts it is actually far easier to get super skroll than getting big boy APOC because of the ISO requirement and also the fact that most of the characters needed for big boy are not that useful in the current meta. So going for big boy APOC first might not be the best idea for newer players
That's the cost for going on an important journey. Sometimes you have to build subpar characters to get a great character. It'll suck in the moment but the payoff is definitely worth it imo
Deathseed, gamma, and darkhold are all still pretty decent teams. Xmen are pretty meh but Rouge gambit and dazzler are all decent characters. Iso is brutal but the game completely changes once you get big boy apoc. Now if you can get skrull that's great go get him and keep saving up isos.
@bradygreen29 my point is that for newer players when you take into account the resources you get back when you do dd6, and the fact that we have black knight, nightcrawler and other newer global toons, going focusing on super skroll first seems to be the easier option that will also allow you to build the most current meta teams. I would love for one of the msf needs to do the math on how much potential resources you might lose depending on what choice you make Especially in CC because from what I know those who have focused on big boy have found it more difficult to climb ranks because people like me have focused on the latest characters that can demolish all the horsemen teams
@jotingodelacola760 ypu get atleast more of a rebate with dd6, blue isos are the biggest pain point and incredibly time consuming. From my experience and people in my cluster, we've gotten enough 18 mini uniques so the only bottleneck to worry about are the uniques
Just unlocked big boy pac… once you get him you’ll realize you need him at 3 diamond quuuuick. Just get him for dd7 to help to be honest but.. there are better teams now
Haha i am a f2p that has slowly worked darkhold, deadseed, unlimited xmen and gamma up to rank 17. Darkhold and gamma is done. I already have spiderweaver, kestrel and what the third now is high enough. Slowly getting there. I have had so many teams i kind of want to level up, but gona save that until i finished the event. :P
With this game, there is no such thing as putting teams/characters on the back burner/waiting for things to calm down with newer characters/teams. There is always gonna be newer teams/characters releasing and that need to be leveled and geared. Plus reworks. So things will never calm down to allow someone to go back to a team. With the Horsemen question, it's best to go back and forth on the Horsemen and new characters/teams, or pick one and stick with it. There is no longer a "good" time to do stuff and not so much a downtime to go back and work on older characters. You have to keep up. Of course, things would be easier if you are a vet player and have been around since launch or even beta. Then you are a little more on top of things. Like me. I'm a Launch Day (100% free to play) player and can keep up. I have my Apocalypse and also Super Skrull.
What this game will teach you is, if you don't invest in the new players the Devs...well really the suits...at Scopely want you to invest in, then you are punished. They make them needed for upcoming something or another. They watch their sales like a hawk, and if not enough is being spent, suddenly you will find that ohhhh I should have invested in that team now I can't get through this....evidence the Kiln issue....Evidence anyone wanting to get Big Boy Apoc and having to build up toons that are no longer Meta. They win one way or another.
Bro you need to tell these Dev's that the game is in a weird state for mid level players, we are levelling up very fast and there are very low gold and training mat rewards to keep up with the progress

if you think about it its about the same all the gear , gold and iso to spend on dd6 to get your toons atleats to 400k is aloooot .
