Darth Smirnoff Fatties, where's the maple ones? Also, can I have some maple cookies? I had them once 8 years ago and I miss them. Love, Your Angry Neighbor
Darth Smirnoff I'm glad we're starting to get on Japan's level with all these flavors. I haven't seen the caramel sea salt or the tiramisu flavors in Quebec yet :'( or I'm just not looking hard enough
I think it is time KitKat is going to honor you as their international KitKat connoisseur and have you on board as a life long taster (paid of course) I thought only Japan had these wonderful variations, but now Canada pops up with these awesome flavors....I love Canada! My brother is going to Toronto in 2 days and I wish I could go with him... Thank you for this amazing and delicious video!
Canada’s and the rest of the world KitKat’s are made by Nestley and they are totally different than yours. Your I believe are made by Hershey and are totally different sorry bout that
James Tod I have had KitKats from 6 different countries and the original flavor tastes the same. You are right though, for some reason Hershey makes the US ones.
My husband would be in heaven with all these candy bars, he loves Kit-Kats! Emmy, I’m glad you did this video, I really learn so much culturally from your videos. Hope you enjoy your weekend with your family!
yumm those are my fav ! i always used to get so excited when it was halloween hoping that i got a lot of coffee crisp chocolate bars in my trick or treat bag. hahah
Fun fact that I just recently learned about Kit Kats: the chocolate "cream" that's sandwiched between the wafers? It's made of other Kit Kat bars that got broken during the manufacturing process. They grind them up. If you take the wafers apart and examine the cream, you'll see that it's a little bit gritty. That's bits of ground up wafer!
Oh wow I didn't even realize we had this many flavours haha. Also we definitely have the classic shape and packaging the same as American kitkats in Canada, that's what I think most of us are familiar with. These must just be specialty sizing for the flavours.
Not only did I learn from this video that Canada has its own flavors of Kit Kats, I also learned a new word: gracile (slender or thin). I love learning new words and it's been a while. Thanks, Emmy :) 🐅
She’s expanded my vocabulary too! I think it’d be cool if the word and its definition appeared on the screen after she said it! Then she could be sure we learned something 😉
Looks like Canadian KitKats are more aligned with British ones (seeing as KitKats were created by Rowntrees here in England!), same packaging & logo styles... :)
twocvbloke Yay! You remember Rowntree too! Kit Kat, Coffee Crisp, Aero and Smarties would never have existed without them. As a child, I loved their chocolate formulation the best. I was so sad when they got bought out by Nestlé.
I think our Canadian Kit Kat, Aero, Smarties were all made by Rowntree too until the 80's or so. Wasn't Quality Street first made by Rowntree? I love Quality Street, but they've changed the flavours quite a bit.
In the US, KitKat is made by Hershey. In Canada, they are made by Nestle in Ontario. In Canada we have higher standards of what is considered chocolate vs the US
Contrary to what Emmy said, Canadian Kit Kat tastes very different to American ones. They are even made by different companies. Kit Kat is made by Nestlé in Canada and by Reese/Hershey’s in the US. The American version tastes like cheap compound chocolate and is also much sweeter.
I think that's why I've never been fond of Hershey's chocolate. Our chocolate in Canada is more creamy like the UK chocolate. To me, Hershey's taste's like cheap Easter bunny chocolate LOL
I would be interested in you doing a taste test between a KitKat from Canada and one from the US. Growing up in Canada we believe the chocolate is different in Canada than in the US.
Sadly, 🇨🇦 & 🇬🇧 chocolate is so much better than 🇺🇸 when we share the same candy bars. In the 🇺🇸 in the candy we share, Hershey makes our chocolate which is subpar.
When I lived in New Zealand 15-20 years ago, we found that chocolate bars that were nominally the same brand (i.e. Kit Kat) as those available in Canada were significantly sweeter. My Kiwi friends said they and the Aussies prefer their candy bars sweeter.
@@garammasala1052I’m surprised that that is your experience. I am Canadian and I have found American chocolate bars to be sweeter than ours. What part of Canada are you in? I would say that companies like Purdy’s are too sweet but I haven’t found that with things like Kitkats.
Yay!! Not to be biased.... but as a fellow Canadian, Canadian Kit Kats are awesome!!! Have you tried "Maltesers" before (if you don't know what they are you should look them up 😁)
The way that the orange ones are wrapped are how the normal ones are wrapped in the UK! Like, you ALWAYS get kitkats in 2s wrapped in foil :) You can get orange, mint too and they’ve just brought out Japanese sized caramel, hazelnut and double chocolate.
These Kit Kats really went main stream here in Canada for Christmas. My favourite was a mixed box which had 4 flavours in a snack size version of a Kit Kay Chunky (even thicker than the thick bars Emmy is eating in this video). Just.... so.... good.....🍫😋
I know, it's not that easy when you can't get the same snacks as other people. But there are yummy gluten-free snacks. Maybe Emmy can taste some of them too sometime.
Yeah our kitkat bars are pretty big. Those sizes are found at walmart here in canada :D btw we also have the kit lat chunky in canada and it’s Actually my favorite
TheMontrealGirl ...we have Kit Kat chunky in Australia too. The flavours are normal, gooey caramel, chocolate sundae & best of the best (which has choc fudge, cookies & creams & gooey caramel all in the one bar but seperate). They have also just brought in a Raspberry Cheesecake in the family size blocks.
We have kit kat chunky in germany theres peanut butter a coffee type one and new york cheesecake, ive seen others before here and there but cant remember them
i live in canada and ive been seeing these pop up all over. im not sure why so many different flavours and styles (thick vs thin chocolate coating) but im not complaining because i loooooove kit kats
What a fabulous box of deliciousness! Would love to try these Canadian bars - especially the chunkier versions, but which flavor They all looked yummy.
We have Kit Kat Chunky in various flavours here in Canada too! THEY ARE DIVINE! I am notorious for swinging into 7-Eleven on my way home from campus and buying the mint Kit Kats or a couple of Caramel Kit Kat Chunkies...
There are dark chocolate kitkats in the US. I get them all the time in Texas. We get regular, dark and white chocolate kitkats. Never seen a green tea one though, sounds delicious. Thanks for sharing!
I can't be the only Canadian that didn't know we had so many kit-kat flavours eh? 😅 literally I think I can recall maaaybe 4 different ones ? 🤣 same with the Areos whaaaat!? Thought there was only original, mint and orange haha. I'm from the prairies though maybe that's why 🌾🍁
I moved to Canada from the US and found that the chocolate on KitKats has a slightly different texture than the one in the US. I remember the American Hershey version to be slightly melty and oily in comparison but maybe that's just me. Could also be that the packaging is so different that my mind plays a trick on me! Grocery stores in Canada are really similar to the US until you get to the Candy aisles. In spite being a smaller market, there's a lot more variety in Canada. I'm always reminded that I'm actually in a different country when I see things like Mr. Big, Coffee Crisp, Big Turk, Wonder Bar, Smarties (more like M&M's. U.S. style smarties are called rockets here), Mirage, and KitKats and Rolos made my Nestle instead of Hershey.
The orange ones are my favourite! Theyre the only ones we tend to buy regularly. I wish we had the tiramisu ones in the UK, though. The dark chocolate ones are very common over here and have been for many years so i find it unusual that its new in Canada.
Oh you share the whole choclate experience, everything is important to you, you are my kind of choclate eating buddy. Only trouble is I live with almost constant nausia so I wouldn't enjoy eating most of them. I might handle a teeny bite of anything choc mint but love your vids, I may be hooked.
I live in Vancouver Canada and up until now I have been afraid of the green tea KitKat then after you ate it n liked it I just had to try it and I just love it it's my all time fav now thanks 4 trying it on cam
We have the chunky ones in Canada as well. Although if you don’t currently have them, I’m pretty sure you use to have the chunky kit kat in the US because I clearly remember buying one at a gas station in Florida in the early to mid 2000s.
In New Zealand we have a big 55g bar called a KitKat chunky as well. One KitKat chunky has 3 flavors in the one bar divided into 3 parts. Gooey caramel, cookies and cream, and chocolate fudge. I have only seen two flavor Aero bars here. Aero Chocolate and Aero Peppermint. We have a KitKat - Tiramisu Duo (45g) 4 finger bar that alternates between white and brown bars for two of each color with the white ones having a brown base just like that bigger Canadian one.
Amiel Blue, you made me realize I must be trash. Hahahaha! I not only break the KitKat bars, I eat off the chocolate and the wafer layers separately, but I also enjoy eating the soggy fries.
so funny. as you were eating the tiramisu one, my husband was making coffee (& i didn’t realize it). when you said you could smell the coffee i was like WHOA ME TOO😂😂😂
KitKat and Aero are two of my favourite chocolate bars. In the UK, we don't have those massive bars, which is a pity. We also don't get much of a variety as it seems other countries do, which is a shame. But you're right, Emmy, we do have the Chunky KitKats, which are sold as a single, big fat finger with at least double the amount of wafer than an ordinary bar and covered in a very thick and generous amount of chocolate that you almost break your teeth biting into. That stripy minty bar looked tempting - I love anything minty too :)
Now I want a Kit Kat My favorite is the Single Bar giant Kit Kat. Really great balance of layers (yes Layers... not flavored. Which are great too of course) and textures.
Wow , Emmy you and Amazon get me into trouble 😂! I stop and order many of the wonderful ingredients for recipes to actual prepared candy to savory dishes
I live in Canada....and haven't seen most of them.....must be only in some places in Canada. The sm and lrg bars of Kit Kat and Areo bars are sold in Canada
Also in Canada, and I love to grab a KitKat Chunky from time to time. I like the peanut butter version, and have tried the caramel. My daughter loves the Matcha version...me, not so much. :D
KitKat Chunky, where I live, are basically a single stick of the bar but boldly massive with 4 snap marks. There is the PB flavour and that is very very bold. Not as flat as the ones in the video. The pb ones particularly burst in your mouth gooey. (Please do not think bad..)
We have basic level plain Kit Kat in 4 or 2 bars. Kit Kat mini. Chunky comes in so many limited edition flavours. I've had some peanut butter, and N.Y. cheesecake. As well as cookies and cream. I hate the Orange flavoured one. I haven't seen kit Kat mint for number of years. Dark chocolate kit Kat just came on the market in Dundee stores, however my local Lidl has their own unique branded KitKat bar, which I think that it's thicker chocolate covering, they've been doing the dark chocolate version for years.
I am Canadian and have had the traditional Kit but never seen all that.I would suggest trying coffee crisp not a KitKat.One of my favorite 🍫 bars, subtle coffee flavor in a chocolate covered wafer.
Well, I didn’t want KitKats 20 minutes ago. Now, I physically need them.
Bridget same
Now where in Orlando can I find those! I periodically find some of the Japanese ones!
Me too!
As a Canadian, I'm both surprised and terrified that we have that many Kit Kat bars.
😂😂😂
I don’t live there anymore and it looks like a lot has changed since I left!
Darth Smirnoff Fatties, where's the maple ones? Also, can I have some maple cookies? I had them once 8 years ago and I miss them.
Love,
Your Angry Neighbor
Darth Smirnoff I'm glad we're starting to get on Japan's level with all these flavors. I haven't seen the caramel sea salt or the tiramisu flavors in Quebec yet :'( or I'm just not looking hard enough
I live in Canada too but never seen all these different flavours of Kit Kat bars !!!
I think it is time KitKat is going to honor you as their international KitKat connoisseur and have you on board as a life long taster (paid of course)
I thought only Japan had these wonderful variations, but now Canada pops up with these awesome flavors....I love Canada!
My brother is going to Toronto in 2 days and I wish I could go with him...
Thank you for this amazing and delicious video!
❤️❤️❤️
Japan has different kinds I'd like to order sometime
Why the world don't we have these in the United States? I'm feeling some type of way right now
MzzzExtra same. It's like the USA has the lamest Kit Kat😒😒. The rest of the world got awesome specialty one.
Canada’s and the rest of the world KitKat’s are made by Nestley and they are totally different than yours. Your I believe are made by Hershey and are totally different sorry bout that
Me too. Boring US kit Kat bars
James Tod I have had KitKats from 6 different countries and the original flavor tastes the same. You are right though, for some reason Hershey makes the US ones.
My local asian store sells tons of different kitkats, im so glad.. I always buy their green tea and tiramisu kitkats.
Between poutine and KitKats I’m ready to immigrate to Canada.
abe frohman emigrate*
abe frohman I'm from California, we're slowly getting there.
abe frohman SAME! wow, the person who sent this is A VERY nice person. Thank you!
And we’re not afraid of foreigners
abe frohman Between Kit-Kats, Poutine, and the fact Canada doesn’t have a sweltering fucking political climate, I’m also ready to immigrate to there.
I need a Caryssa in my life.💕💖
My husband would be in heaven with all these candy bars, he loves Kit-Kats! Emmy, I’m glad you did this video, I really learn so much culturally from your videos. Hope you enjoy your weekend with your family!
Yay, I should send you some coffee crisp chocolate bars they are the best ever! Sending love from Canada 🇨🇦
chelsi lynne why would you pay to send her snacks -_-
oh my god we had those and they were SO GOOD
yumm those are my fav ! i always used to get so excited when it was halloween hoping that i got a lot of coffee crisp chocolate bars in my trick or treat bag. hahah
Omg send me some u r the best
Big Loaf because she’s Canadian and nice 😛
At our house it does not matter how it breaks or even if it hits the floor. My girls will eat kitkats off of the drive way.
We told the boys if they ate this candy they would grow boobs. Not one of then has tried it. HA HA HA
I'd eat chocolate off of anything, lol. Chocolate is the best.
the big size bars in Canada we call them family sized.
Kahlest Enoch yes! 😂 but i never shared with my family 😂 they say family size, but i’ve never seen anyone share it
LOL Yeah I see family sized laugh and say ahh that size is perfect for me
in the us we have family sized things but not in kitkat!!!! we have slightly bigger bars than our original but theyre called king size!
In Australia we have both the family size to share and king size which is a super size version of the kitkat.
Same
Fun fact that I just recently learned about Kit Kats: the chocolate "cream" that's sandwiched between the wafers? It's made of other Kit Kat bars that got broken during the manufacturing process. ProgHead777 Hee. You were also watching Bon Apetit.
Lol! You got me!
Makes you wonder what the first KitKat's were made of....
ProgHead777 it's true!
Does this mean that Kit Kats are cannibalistic?
Oh wow I didn't even realize we had this many flavours haha. Also we definitely have the classic shape and packaging the same as American kitkats in Canada, that's what I think most of us are familiar with. These must just be specialty sizing for the flavours.

You are just too adorable & sweet.
Your sense of humor & excitement as well as the calmness in ur voice just makes every video unbelievably enjoyable.
wait, i didn't know we had special kit kats?! for once i feel kinda like canada's special LOL.
Re: Our Kitkats in Canada. Get thyself to yer local Loblaws. POST HASTE!!
In the uk, Kitkats are also wrapped in foil, which makes opening them more satisfying. There’s a specific way of opening them :)
in Australia the little ones used to be with a paper sleeve around them, but now everything is in plastic wrappers!
Same in Belgium
We sure did up our KitKat bar game in Canada!!
I was so sad when they got bought out by Nestlé.

wtf i didn't realise we had so many kit kat flavours in canada?
jlylove I find them in the snack isle of the grocery store because of how big most of them are
Me neither!
I usually see them at places like Walmart or gas stations.
Me neither
I... don't think we do? I'm really confused, I've never seen any of these before...
I was so excited i had a new strawberry kit kat that i ate while watching this omg it was amazing
marykacyy at a gas station
You should make some kit kats ,that would be fun to see!
Holy cow, my daughter and I just found your channel and she is in love with your MRE videos. I think we have watched 10 of them today! Thx

Aurora Borealis thats exactly what it is lol
Yup! American kitkat are horrible.
Emmy, if you ever run out of ideas for videos maybe you can start making home made versions of popular candy bars!
I would be interested in you doing a taste test between a KitKat from Canada and one from the US. Growing up in Canada we believe the chocolate is different in Canada than in the US.
Janice Voss it probably is

Canadian chocolate is super sweet and gross. Im from Alberta.

Greetings from Brampton, Ontario Canada!
Steph Pavao greetings from Hamilton Ontario
Hi from Brooklin, Ontario!
Hi also from Brampton! :)

My husband and I were just saying that we miss having our chocolate bars wrapped in foil as well as gum in foil wrapped sticks etc.
I always want Kit-Kats after these tasting videos. Love you Emmy! 💖
These Kit Kats really went main stream here in Canada for Christmas. My favourite was a mixed box which had 4 flavours in a snack size version of a Kit Kay Chunky (even thicker than the thick bars Emmy is eating in this video). Just.... so.... good.....🍫😋
Aero is amazing if you eat a bite of Aero and then have a sip of HOT coffee. YUM
Emmy hit the chocolate jackpot!
Ugh.. the way emmy describes stuff and how it tastes makes my mouth waters
I have Celiac and while I'm sad I can't have any, I love these tastings of the kit kat chocolates, because I can live through your experience!
What is that😯???
I know, it's not that easy when you can't get the same snacks as other people. But there are yummy gluten-free snacks. Maybe Emmy can taste some of them too sometime.
Same! Ive been bothered with IBS since I was 15. Love Emmys videos about chocolate! Miss it sooooo much!
You can tell almost immediately when you approve. I want a KIT Kat now.
The best part about her videos is when she eat s something good and starts dancing
She reminds me of a little kid and I absolutely love it🥺
No coffee crisp!?!? WHenever my grandmother came back from Canada, she'd bring those back and it was amazing.
Yeah our kitkat bars are pretty big. Those sizes are found at walmart here in canada :D btw we also have the kit lat chunky in canada and it’s

I love the variety of flavours, but I think the bars are too big, even when split between my sister and I.
Omg. What do Walmarts look like in Canada? 🇨🇦 I’m genuinely interested... 🤔
Clayton Jaros
We have Commonwealth goods as well as the typical American stuff.
i live in canada and ive been seeing these pop up all over. im not sure why so many different flavours and styles (thick vs thin chocolate coating) but im not complaining because i loooooove kit kats
Going to Vancouver in a few weeks. Tasting new flavors of Kit Kats will definitely be on my list of things to do. Thanks!
They all look very tasty, but I always crave the Japanese KitKats. 😅 Strawberry cheesecake and sweet potato are my favourites. 🤗
Ohhhh I want to try sweet potato Kitkats!
What a fabulous box of deliciousness! Would love to try these Canadian bars - especially the chunkier versions, but which flavor They all looked yummy.
What an awesome haul! Does Caryssa work in a chocolate factory or something? I bet her last name is Wonka... ;)
Critical Eats Japan cute
I wanna befriend her. 😉
Critical Eats Japan 🤣🤣😁
We have Kit Kat Chunky in various flavours here in Canada too! THEY ARE DIVINE! I am notorious for swinging into 7-Eleven on my way home from campus and buying the mint Kit Kats or a couple of Caramel Kit Kat Chunkies...
Wow, all that goodness... Never knew kit Kat's came in so many flavors....😛✌
There are dark chocolate kitkats in the US. I get them all the time in Texas. We get regular, dark and white chocolate kitkats. Never seen a green tea one though, sounds delicious. Thanks for sharing!
thanks Emmy now I'm dying for a KitKat bar in the middle of the night 😂 we also have KitKat Chunky bars in Canada, at least the province I'm in!
Wow!!! They need to bring all those KitKat options to the 🇺🇸. Yum!!!
Ohhh I just had those last week--- the orange, dark chocolate, white chocolate and cookies&cream. Also some caramilk and aero too 💕

I love the happy KitKat dance! Dark chocolate rules.
wow out of all of these I’ve only seen and had the green tea ones, which is my favourite! thanks for trying 🇨🇦 Emmy :)
The caramel crisp ones are my absolute favs 🤤👌🏻👌🏻
I love these types of videos ❤️❤️❤️

Thankyou Emmy and your supplier! Lol. I gotta see if I can check those out. Already tried a whole bunch of Japenese flavors.😍🍫🐅🐝🐥
OMG.....sooooo jealous....these all look FABULOUS!!!
Any other fellow canucks not know half of these bars exist??? wtf???

I’ve lived in Canada for my entire life, and half of these kit kat bars I’ve never seen before.
In the 70s, we had a candy bar called CHOCO-LITE- same thing as plain milk chocolate aero-bars. They were my favorite.
Oooh,caryssa ,i would kill for a box like that!❤💙💚💛❤💙💚💛❤💙💚💛❤💙💚💛
What kind of monster breaks a kitkat in half lol. It's like people eating a pizza crust before eating the pizza 😂😂😂😂
its meant to if you look you can see a line for breaking i guess that how they are in Canada
R5cali family they recently added that segmenting to make you think you are eating more KitKat
Nah im pretty sure its on par with eating all the crisp french fries and leaving the soggy ones to your friend 🤷♂️
Amiel Blue, you made me realize I must be trash. Hahahaha! I not only break the KitKat bars, I eat off the chocolate and the wafer layers separately, but I also enjoy eating the soggy fries.
I’m so glad to see stuff from home!! They look so good I’ve sent my husband out to get dessert. 😂🇨🇦❤️
so funny. as you were eating the tiramisu one, my husband was making coffee (& i didn’t realize it). when you said you could smell the coffee i was like WHOA ME TOO😂😂😂
Now I want a KitKat. Mission accomplished Emmy. 😊😊😊😊
I'm so glad I had a kit kat bar in my house before I started watching this... 😅 A dark one too🇨🇦🇨🇦
How does America of all places not have this kind of selection of Kit Kats yet? It’s truly insane.
Kit Kats are wonderful. What a fun video! Yummy 😄👍👍

U so adorable it's ridiculous!! Hahaha I can't believe how entertaining it is to sit here and watch another human being eat.
Here in Canada we have kitkat chunky too! Lots of different flavours of them!! 🇨🇦
I love the datk chocolate cherry areo and hazelnut Kit Kat, mint Kit Kat, orange and espresso and the cookies and cream
I heard that snap! Wow Canadians have a great selection! Thanks for sharing!
Wow , Emmy you and Amazon get me into trouble 😂! I stop and order many of the wonderful ingredients for recipes to actual prepared candy to savory dishes
love this haul, and yes we have the kit kat chunky bars too
we have all those ‘bar’ ones in Australia, but we call them chocolate blocks
Finally! These kit kat flavours are AMAZING. I can’t believe that they aren’t in the USA!
Great video as always Emmy!
I live in Canada....and haven't seen most of them.....must be only in some places in Canada. The sm and lrg bars of Kit Kat and Areo bars are sold in Canada
Happy Mother’s Day Emmy 😁😁😁😁❤️❤️❤️
I love seen Emmy so Satisfied. 😂
I also love KitKats! Your channel is amazing❤️
When she was like “Did you hear that?” I thought I was losing my mind and that the chocolate started to play music. Omg-
Also in Canada, and I love to grab a KitKat Chunky from time to time. I like the peanut butter version, and have tried the caramel. My daughter loves the Matcha version...me, not so much. :D

Emmy, I think you’re an amazing person..you have the dream job! 💕
Love the Charlie brown sounding opening
Omg, that box is pure heaven!
*maple cookie is always my favorite. :)*
Can’t wait for the Aero taste test video!
I am Canadian and have had the traditional Kit but never seen all that.I would suggest trying coffee crisp not a KitKat.One of my favorite 🍫 bars, subtle coffee flavor in a chocolate covered wafer.
