q is a magazine show that’s unpredictable in the best sense - proud to be “a wild mix of culture by way of Canada” as described by the New York Times. She's such a doll. The perfect package of beauty, body & brains. Never get tired of seeing & hearing her.
How could you not love her?
Good interview, Tom seemed really interested in the conversation, but who wouldn't? Such an interesting woman, she's not obsessed with herself or her image like most actors nowadays, she sounds down to earth, humble and hardworking and I find that admirable.
7:45 her "what" killed me 😂😂😂
Whot
Great interview with the eloquent and charming Hayley Atwell. I really enjoyed watching her as Peggy Carter on Marvel's Agent Carter. I have since begun to watch her earlier work in How About You, Brideshead Revisited, Pillars of the Earth, and Restless. She has a talent for embodying complex and sometimes unlikeable characters and humanizing them. My favourite performances have been Cat Fedden in The Line of Beauty, where she played a manic-depressive, self harming politician's daughter. The audience could sense the state of her mental illness based on the inflection and cadence of her speech. Lady Bess Foster from The Duchess is another complex and difficult role. I enjoyed Ms. Atwell as Hayes Morrison on Conviction unfortunately the writing, direction, and even the musical score sometimes interrupted the performances of a solid cast. I look forward to seeing Hayley Atwell in the new BBC production of Howards End.
So do we! Thank you for watching and commenting.
I could fall for her faster than from a cloud
will forever be, Agent Carter
