You can tell he’s just having fun. I didn’t love the whole thing but I definitely took away from songs from it and think it’s a fun listen. Flylo with Captain Murphy did something very similar and nobody just called him a DOOM bot. Same with czarface. I saw this as a tribute. And he was even working on it for a few years, so it's not disrespectful.
Hands down DOOM influenced. I just didn't expect something this fast and from Logic no less. I feel weird seeing music so similar but I guess it's about the intentions. You're crazy, man. Jay z will always be jay z
Yep, this blows 'Kingdom Come' out of the water
@@owl509 beats wise. Lyrics and theme wise, its ok. Jay Z's American Gangster was his actual comeback album in my eyes instead of Kingdom Come lol.
Jay-Z is a hip hop legend
@@narxes Did you just say a Krispy Kreme bar 😂
Why is fantano talking about himself in third person again?
Too many reviews, too many Ridge wallets; he’s lost his mind
This joke wack
@@Conconboss u wack
He needs to learn to communicate with others, maybe he should ask Cal for some advice.
dude's delusional
Okay I don’t understand fantano on this one. That shit was amazing. It was beyond rap. It was art.
Love this project and it needs a sequel!
it’s getting a sequel, he announced it on the vinyl days album in (nardwaur ft doc d)
i saw the title for this video briefly for like half a second while scrolling through my subscriptions and I thought the title was “LOGIC IS DABABY”
Slightly disappointed that no one caught the Cowboy Bebop reference.
In what track was Cowboy Bebop referenced
@@jeffcorrea444 better text back
there was a handful
@@jeffcorrea444 Death of Destruction
This is just logic rapping with voice manipulations to see how we react to his music when we don’t know it’s him 🤔
I'll always stand by Logic, dude has unique talent with beats and flow. Not saying all his shit bangers though, dont get me wrong. Not putting him on a pedestal. But I would place him top 3 of the 21st century.
This sounds like the stuff I would make on my SP-404 in high school like same samples and everything dope!
Logic under a pseudonym talking about logic releasing an album under another pseudonym. He's going to rip a hole in the space time continueum
continueum
Seeing pukebox by PPC at the beginning is killing me, I need to hear Melon's thoughts.
It sounds like this should be on the Knuckles levels in Sonic Adventures 2.
it makes sense to come out with this tape now
as it could be seen as a doom tribute with the visual aesthetic and then the sample work of course
nice timing
35:20 ayyyeeee cowboy bebop reference..actually the whole bounty hunters in space thing lol dude loves bebop....58:34 there it is lol
the album is just one big cowboy bebop reference lmao
Thought your title said "LOGIC IS BLACK BABY!"
I feel like Denzel Curry would drop absolute bombs on the double sample instrumental
Flylo with Captain Murphy did something very similar and nobody just called him a DOOM bot. Same with czarface. I saw this as a tribute. And he was even working on it for a few years, so it's not disrespectful.
Exactly!
As an early listener of logic, this album is a masterpiece. Logic sounds free and I can appreciate it.
maybe im corny. i like the vibes
Nah you ain’t corny I’m surprised people are hating on this
This fucking word has lost all of its value
Hands down DOOM influenced. I just didn't expect something this fast and from Logic no less. I feel weird seeing music so similar but I guess it's about the intentions. Is it a tribute to him or is this Logic's new alter ego that's gonna do albums similar to DOOM because I don't think many of us would want that. MF DOOM is unique and there can only be one super villain.
Any sensible person is probably okay with it even if it's an attempt at the DOOM vibe. As long as it's not an egregious copycat attempt which so far, it isn't.
Fuck yeah this some old school boom bap grimey raw shit, this is what I need
That track sounds like a hip hop radio station from 1989
Have u ever heard tracks from that era? Lol
Sounds more like 1995+
pretty wild that i like logic so much more when his voice is pitched down 5 semitones.
A Dr Disrespect mixtape produced by Logic sounds awesome lol
Best Logic Album I mean, DocD album
Bruh c dot Castro always kills his verses. Gah damn
@@berenguerx last verse on back in the basement. they cool now
@@TehAstroZ for real?
the green juices song gave me hella ghostface killah/badbadnotgood- food vibes with just the pro-health lyrics and whatnot. i think the project is a lot of fun honestly
The skits were fucking hilarious
Chat was so annoying by constantly saying they’re cringe when they’re literally meant to be as cringey as possible to add to the comedic storyline of the mixtape.
@@Evanmnm that’s literally his chat sadly jumping on logic hate bandwagon when this project was dope. I was laughing so much from the skit
He was so happy melon finally liked his final album and he got an interview with him he decided to give it another go ,way to go melon👍
Logic is a good producer. Man should produce more
Fantano with those glasses looks like a bald keanu reeves in cyberpunk 2077
the chat is just an echo chamber for Fantano's thoughts.
Bro it’s disgusting. Even funnier when they change their opinion when fantano changes it. They all believe they are experts
I thought some parts were a bit goofy, but honestly, I really enjoyed the project overall!
Thats logic with a voice changer, shit i like it tho and his production is great
I really love this album ❤
26:34 Isn’t that the same sample from Midnight Marauders? 8 Million Stories to be exact?
Is anyone surprised? Didnt uzi vert make an album the same year he said he was quitting the rap game for attention?
Are u an idiot logic retired from studio albums he said he would probably do other side projects like collabs
No cap, i kinda like the lore the album is throwin at us. Its very cheesy and sensational, but its done in a way where it keeps itself entertaining. Songs can get a tiny bit choppy, but its still good overall.
I am very much looking forward to a second album, should that come to existance. Im feeling this at a 7 to a light 8. Would have bumped it up to a 9 if there was a Cal Chuchesta feature. Trannnn-
-sition! So yeah, keep rockin out with the Melon, Cal Chuchesta, Logic... uuhh forever!
Wouldn't be surprised if logic asked Fantano for cal culchesta feature on the next Doc D tape tbh
i love the cheese idky
Cosmo 105.7 really gives me a Bounce FM vibe from Vice City
"major pitbull vibes" lmfaoooo
It's like a mix of DOOM and METAL FINGERS, ya know? I was listening to Vol 0-9 of Special Herbs yesterday. It just reminds me of that with the instrumentals.
