- This is a very short clip of a Robin (bird) hopping around on the ground near a body of water potentially looking for food. At point I had thought about making this into a looped clip that went on for hours at the behest of a friend of mine, to "entertain" his cats...lol. But I didn't think that this would be a good thing for business, so I thought better of it...haha.
But let's hit you right between the eyes with some facts about Robins since you spent 11 seconds of your life watching the video...and I appreciate that.
Robins, while often associated with the Spring Season actually, unbeknown to many, stay well within their mating ground most of the year. Basically what happens guys is their diet changes during the colder months which causes them to forage for food higher up in the trees, where they roost more so during this time. During the spring months, their incredible eyesight (the American version's sight is amazingly keen), brings them down closer to the ground where imperceptible movements of the ground soil during the Spring thaw bring them now closer to the ground where they are more readily visible as they forage for worms and insects who come alive with the thaw. That is what this guy is doing hopping around ....
I hope that helped ease the pain of the 11 seconds and made it all worthwhile...thank you again, and please like, comment, and subscribe!!
