It really depends on the length you want that tulle train to be but for this DIY with the 16" balloons we measured out the fabric to be about 4 ft on the long side (or 54" wide and 48" long) which means we could have covered about 30 balloons with one bolt. If we doubled up then 15. Hope this helps!
I just discovered this video and the tulle over the balloon is very creative and gives the balloon a whole new look. It really adds an elegant touch with the flowers .
Hello 🤗 I just ordered the balloons and tulle from your site! I'm so excited we're doing my mom 70th birthday party and I would like to know how are the balloons standing tall with the sticks attached?
Happy (early) birthday to your mom and have fun decorating! We used styrofoam squares, and just stuck the sticks in them then added the boxes and decorative items around to hide them them nicely, but you can also use balloon weights, marbles or multi-color rocks (if balloons are in vases) depending on how top heavy your centerpieces are. You can also do something like what we did in this video for the base - ruclips.net/video/u2Q8HJzMmU4/видео.html Hope this helps! Please tag us once you put up your decorations, we’d love to see them!

Happy to help! We have a couple other designs for more DIYs - balsacircle.com/collections/balloons/type_balloon-sticks Let us know if you end up using them!
These are plastic so we're not sure they would hold a stuffed animal, but we will try it out! If the toy was instead of the flowers or if it was at the bottom near the base then it may work better. If you're pressed for time, we recommend using wooden dowels instead as they will work for sure.
We used styrofoam squares, unfortunately we do not have any in stock right now. You can also use balloon weights, marbles or multi-color rocks (if balloons are in vases) depending on how top heavy your centerpieces are. Sticks with balloons could be placed inside mini boxes, cups, holders or other mini containers filled with styrofoam, marbles or river rocks for more stability. Hope this helps!

The balloons are on a stick that's just clear acrylic so they are not floating, but do have that appearance. In our experience, the air-filled balloons outlasted the helium filled so using helium is completely fine, just make sure to tie the knot very very tight. Hope this helps!
What do you recommend using for the base to put the sticks in? I've tried putting a balloon weight in a cup with foam on top, and sticking the balloons sticks in the foam, but it still wants to fall over. The pictures at the end of this video have them in a cup and box, how was that achieved? Thanks.
We used styrofoam squares but depending on how top heavy your centerpieces are you might need more stability. If the stick is bending over then you might want to look at using wooden dowels like we did for this video - ruclips.net/video/u2Q8HJzMmU4/видео.html We covered the foam base with river rocks for more stability. For that video, we used is 0.312 in wide (or 5/16") x 36 in long (we cut it down to 28 inches) wooden dowel and it fit the balloon cups perfectly. Hope this helps!
If you're using air and the balloons are very well secured with tight knots then you can go a couple days ahead of the event. Ours lasted a long time but again that's because the knots were very secure, just to be safe we would say 24-48 hrs. If you're using helium then you want to do it a couple hours before the event as they don't last as long with helium.
We used a 16" size here and in our other video (ruclips.net/video/u2Q8HJzMmU4/видео.html) and it was plenty big, especially with the extra decorations. If you're using confetti without extra decor, you can always go up a size. Hope this helps!
Just got off amazon and the majority of comments (from several diff sites) were disappointed because balloons weren’t crystal clear/transparent even though description plainly says CLEAR. Where did u purchase yours??? Btw enjoyed the video!!!
I wonder why that is, maybe a different material? It's clear like in the video, also you really do have to take time to stretch it out. If you skip that part, it won't look like it's supposed to. We used our 16 inch wide balloons : balsacircle.com/collections/balloons/products/10-clear-16-tall-latex-helium-air-transparent-balloons but we have other sizes available. Hope this helps!

Just beautiful, I have a question I just purchased the balloons and sticks from the link you got on here I’m having a Brady party for my daughter in March so I just went ahead had bought the regular white stick from Walmart today just to try it but it seem like the balloon, flowers and Tull is to heavy for these white sticks Please tell me that the clear stick from the link on here have way better quality I really would love to have these center peaces for my daughters party 😰
We used 4 ft of tulle for the balloons (16" size) so as long as you don't use too much fabric you should be fine! The sticks in the video are made of very sturdy plastic but you can always use wooden dowels, such as from Home Depot instead. There should be 10 pcs (or 10 balloons) in the package you purchased so we recommend trying one out before your party. Let us know if you have any questions, we're here to help!
For this video, we used the 16 inch wide balloons : balsacircle.com/collections/balloons/products/10-clear-16-tall-latex-helium-air-transparent-balloons but we have other sizes available. We hope this is helpful!
Once you blow them up for the event, as long as the knot is secure so the air doesn't escape, it'll be up for a long time. We used air to blow these up and they are still as round as the day we filmed this video (so about 2 weeks ago). We can't guarantee the same results if you use helium but with air, they last a long time! Hope this helps!
Absolutely! We did not use helium for this DIY, we just used air with an air pump. In our experience, when you just fill them with air, they last a lot longer (1-7 days inflated) than with helium (8-24 hrs inflated time). Hope this helps!
It depends on how much tulle you plan to use per centerpiece but yes, it should be enough. We used about 4ft of tulle per each balloon (kept the width was the same, 54") so plenty of tulle left for other projects.

Hello. I have another question. For the pink and gold confetti balloon centerpiece shown at the end of the video, there is a white tin pail base I am trying to achieve this look. I would like to know what was used inside the white tin pail base for a weight? I tried to achieve this look and I put a styrofoam circle inside the pail and unfortunately The Who,e centerpiece toppled over. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
I believe those are ceramic so they are naturally heavier but you can try balloon weights to anchor your balloons or weigh down the pails. You can find these at most craft stores - we've seen them at party city, michael's, or even dollar tree/dollar store. Another idea is to use marbles or mult-color rocks such as you would use for gardening especially for top heavy centerpieces. Hope this helps!
@@LovelyE This look may be too heavy for helium but it might work with a larger balloon size, maybe a 20 inch or larger. We have a video coming out where we'll try a few easy looks with helium but with the silk flowers, they are just a touch too heavy for the 16" balloons. If you're just using confetti, then helium + clear balloons is completely doable. Hope this helps!

It may pool at the bottom, we're not sure how well it would stick to the sides of the balloon. We'll try this in a future video! How big is the glitter you're using?
For the tulle that is available for purchase on your site, how many bundles would be required to cover 24 of your 16” balloons?
It really depends on the length you want that tulle train to be but for this DIY with the 16" balloons we measured out the fabric to be about 4 ft on the long side (or 54" wide and 48" long) which means we could have covered about 30 balloons with one bolt.
