Why is this world record not considered in the olimpics? Because I saw today the competition and it had 56.88 as the wr still ( obviously record from Adam as well)
I know this is late but, yes they are different because in short course you have a turn and more time underwater, so since you are fastest underwater short course times are usually faster, so they cannot use the same records.
