I'm Jhulian a professional musician and session guitar player, and just found out there's an actual anime called Bocchi the rock that tells the story of an introvert girl who plays guitar. It tells the story of many of us, introverts or musicians who found in anime and music some relief to daily life hardship.
In today's episode our favorite drunk bassist gets to shine (as always) we meet her bandmates, which seems pretty cool alternate versions of Ryo and Nijika lol.
Gotta love the development in Bocchi's story and how she's surrounded with not only friends, but expierenced musicians. A shoutout to Kita for setepping up, she looks worried and concerned for Bocchi, she even stareted taken clases with Ryo to let Bocchi concentrate and figure out her own problems.

You gotta love how our favorite drunk bassist has been (ironically) a great influence for Bocchi. She's not only a person who keep pushing her to overcome her anxiety issues, but also is a great musical figure for Bocchi to lool up to.

Great decision to make this stand-alone and keep the last two episodes together! Everyone's favorite is Episode 8 (as do I) but as a bass player this episode is easily my 2nd favorite if only just for SICK HACK's track. Can't help listening to it over and over again.
I'm not good at English, so I don't know how to convey the veiwers its original band other than drunker Hiroi's 88 Temples nor Butsumetsu Trishna etc. If you are good at English and are a fan of the sensei Hiroi, I would like you to tell the uploaders about their charms with their famous music videos.
This guitarist sensei may know the original band, but I think it's a waste if other forign viewers don't know, so please spread the word if possible.
Is it old one? I don't know how the original band is recognized. @overseas^^;

Eliza does have an accent because she's voiced by Sally Amaki who grew up in the US so she speaks fluent English and Japanese. She put on a stilted accent for this role.
Furthermore, her character is supposed to have originated from England as well. Much like Sally's other prominent role as Carol(who's mother is from England, while her father is Japanese) in Tomo-chan is a girl, whom Sally did the voice of in both the Japanese dub AND the English dub.
It be nice to hear her voice Eliza again if/when this show gets an English dub someday. :)
8:38 it’s a “blink and you’ll miss it” shot, but that band sitting at the green table in the background as they walk by becomes kassoku bands bitter rivals (and fans). Likely they’ll become a big deal in seasons to come.

About highschool life in japan (and the reason most animes focus on this period of life), is because highschool life in Japan is, for a lot of japanese, their last chance to do something of their own, before going down the path to be part of the workforce.
Highschool is their last moment to be individual and free, because their discipline and group mentality precondition them to put first JAPAN as a nation, not them as individuals. Obviously, this is not 100% true for everyone, but is very common to have this subconcious behavior for highschool students in Tokyo.
