You know the one that takes you to the places where all the veins meet, yeah
No change, I can change
I can change, I can change
But I'm here in my mold
I am here in my mold
But I'm a million different people
From one day to the next
I can't change my mold
No, no, no, no, no
(Have you ever been down?)
Well, I've never prayed but tonight I'm on my knees, yeah
I need to hear some sounds that recognize the pain in me, yeah
I let the melody shine, let it cleanse my mind, I feel free now
But the airwaves are clean and there's nobody singin' to me now
No change, I can change
I can change, I can change
But I'm here in my mold
I am here in my mold
And I'm a million different people
From one day to the next
I can't change my mold
No, no, no, no, no
(Have you ever been down?)
I can't change, oh, no
I can't change, oh
'Cause it's a bittersweet symphony, that's life
Tryna make ends meet, tryna find somebody then you die
I'll take you down the only road I've ever been down
You know the one that takes you to the places where all the veins meet, yeah
You know I can change, I can change
I can change, I can change
But I'm here in my mold
I am here in my mold
And I'm a million different people
From one day to the next
I can't change my mold
No, no, no, no, no
I can't change my mold
No, no, no, no, no,
I can't change my mold, no, no, no, no
It's just sex and violence, melody and silence
It's just sex and violence, melody and silence
I'll take you down the only road I've ever been down
I'll take you down the only road I've ever been down
Been down
Ever been down
Ever been down
Ever been down
Ever been down
Have you ever been down?
Have you ever been down?
Have you ever been down?
Thank you
This is my all time favorite song!

Nothing is wrong with you. . suppose something is wrong with me as well..Powerful performance!! I wish I could've been there too... wow!
This appeared in my feed exactly when I needed it. Life is without a doubt, a bittersweet symphony.
It's absolutely WILD how powerful music can be
this is beutiful version of this song! i like this very very much😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
It’s kind of weird to choose such a heartbreaking song about loneliness and struggle and have it played by so many people in a stadium. It becomes monumental and transformative. What an amazing, life affirming spectacle!
I agree, but when it came out in -97 I think that a whole lot more people than me thought "This is me".
So I think It's a very good choice!
And to see how much those people love playing the song... Wonderful ❤️
I wish one day I'll be part of this huge band ❤️
Go for it!
@@SolidAgra yes of course, if they come to Morocco I'll not miss the opportunity to be among them
Me too. Wish I was able to play instruments 😭
@@Vanessa-ck4wi you should try to play one, I'm already a guitar player
@@Mohart66 I've tried to play guitar. But is really difficult if you don't have someone that can teach you how to play it. So my guitar stands in a corner since 2016...
Omg just beautiful I got big chills, great song

"MUSIC IS HEALING"
Music is life!

Yeah, Frankfurt!
Would like to hear the Youth of the Nation.
When is it?

I'll be there 😍
I'm not a musician or a vocalist, so I live my dream through amazing talented people like these. Thanks all.
Whole song is a work of art but, men, those violins are out of this planet ♥
1:31 THAT'S HAPPINESS
What I really love about this video is the interaction of the musician's and the crowd their faces alone tells a great story
I got to choose the music for my cataract surgery the other day. So I chose Bittersweet Symphony. So inspiring, especially during all the psychedelic colors flashing through my vision in surgery.
God made music for a reason. It feels like angels weeping. This is our northern lads, the verve ❤❤ you are all amazing. Richard ashcroft must be so proud watching this ❤
This is a testament why this will be one of the greatest music ever.
I have a dream: listening all people on the earth singing this song at the same time one day ❤
This is huge man. You know you've created a masterpiece when 1000 people cover it at once.
Amazing !! Wonderful!!!! Brilliant!!!🥁🎸
Took over 25 years to find this unbelievable song!! I heard back in 1997 and was floored by it. Never found out who they were until YESTERDAY!!!! OMG!!! I'm so thrilled!! Going thru breast cancer and this song brings me comfort. Outstanding performance!!
Darling, never stop riding this wave of artistry, passion and humanity! Stay healthy, Be happy!

Lots of love for you! ♥️ Sending some extra power 👊 Great to hear that this song is helping you, it has been powerful and important to me through my life and helpful during harder times. Cool that there's more of us 😃🤘
I hope you're cancer free if No! Don't be Discouraged because GOD!!! Will Make Your Life Better.
Now I don't know you, but GOD does so I will be praying for your health.
Dear breast cancer sister, all the best for you! You are not alone...Hope all goes well and you will recover. With best wishes from my heart, Beate from Germany ❤
Oasis simply cant be ignored by not having one of these.. Huge choruses and all. Dont look back in anger, wonderwall, champagne supernova u name it
I wonder how THE VERVE guys feel after seeing this. Must be a great feeling😊❤️
La partierrroooonnn 🎉🎉🎉 yeaaaaa la sacaron de Home run... Dónde estaba que no fui a ese concierto ..
Thank you Richard for the timeless melody... goosebumps when all the drums bunyik!..
The melody is a rolling stones song... the lyrics aren't though.
@@rhyswilliams4893 Haha. What a liar you are. The melody DOES NOT COME from The Rolling Stones. It comes from a sample taken from an orchestal version of The Last Time of Andrew Loog Oldham. And secondly, the song The Last Time by the Rolling Stones is a rip-off of a tune from The Staple Singers.
This reduced me to tears.
Look at all the stunned faces in the video. Their reactions of amazement and disbelief and unity are priceless.
This is why I love watching opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympics. I love watching people coming together, doing something good, despite all our many differences.
To all the people in Italy, please take care of one another during this time of need. The world is praying for you.... We love you and we are with you.

No song has been such an iconic soundtrack to the turn of the millennium.

He literally made nothing off this song, he put it out and gave it to the fans. It's ours to own forever... cheers Richard.
The Stones have given it back to him. Good for Mick.
THANK YOU ROCKIN1000 for this beautiful gift😁😍💥👏🤘
Que emoción estar allí entonado esta canción y melodía tan hermosa❤
Has to be one of the most beautiful sounds of the 90's. Love this song !!!
Singing is believing . Music is the heartstrings that power the universe.
