Catapulting those top notes into the stratosphere “perfectly” painting a picture of a wounded young woman in love. That's why you are finally getting to hear her full range of her talent. A lot of Aretha's work had a Muscle Shoals connection as well. Alicia is about to make one hell of a mark on the music world.

She was more like a mezzo-soprano in the beginning of her career, now she's a considered a contralto. I love her voice because she put so much raw emotion in her vocal performances.
