Great quality video, clear audio, good edits even with the technical malfunctions. In total awesome video bro I like the straight to the point style. Subscribed
Man thanks for the kind words bro. I want to be as real as possible with you guys especially the subs. That way yall can see us learn and get better. I think a year from now these vids will be cool to view to see how far we've come. -Jesse
That’s a great video SlotCityFishing crew! Your footage is so cool! We want you to share it on Campfire so you can have a chance to win a kayak, cooler, and some free publicity in our video of the month contest! Upload it here! campfire.outsidetv.com/home
unfortunately we already left man. Id fish there everyday if i could! Im back in corpus and the rest of the team is in Alabama. Soon we are relocating to Jacksonville, Fl. -Jesse
Awesome video. I'm still trying to learn to take more cinematic videos, but I get caught up with just trying to fish. What settings do you use on you GoPros. It would be cool to see a video of your setups.
Thanks for the info. I really appreciate it. I don't do anything in post yet. I'm getting ready to invest in a new laptop and getting Premier. What are you currently using for editing?
What are the specs on your laptop? That's going to be a big investment for me. The one I really want cost over 2k. Everyone keeps telling me to get a desktop, but I need something mobile, so I can edit anywhere.
Looking to head down to Kayak Fish Grand Isle. Curious. Can you pull off and put in anywhere along highway 1? Also do you know if there is any tent camping along the way? Any info would be great. Enjoyed your video.
Thanks bro. We have 5. So I use (Jesse, old bro red yak) a hero 4 silver as my POV with the battery pack and a hero 6 as the 3rd person. Ethan (gray PA) uses a 5 for the third person and a 6 for POV. Nick (blue compass) has a 6 for POV. If you can afford it get the 6 man. The image it spits out is way better, has better color and stabilization. The majority of the videos you see in Corpus im shooing with the 4 it works man. A lot of what your seeing I make happen in Adobe Premiere Pro. Color Grading. I use the 4 because I bought it like 5 years when I use to spear fish in Hawaii.
The water is private property? Not sure how to works in LA. I've been several times there and there is always multiple people fishing and launching there. We actually flagged down a police officer and asked if we could park their the first day we went there and they said it was fine. That water connects to the bay too. You can just paddle in there from the other side

Thank you.
@@primitivehookset1066 Yeah, you'll see people fishing on the side of the road just about anywhere down here.

SlotCityFishing I literally just clicked on it as you said it. My bad thanks. Looking to get in to it here in the pacific
No worries man! Where are you from?
SlotCityFishing I’m from DC but stationed in Okinawa Japan
Right on, I was stationed in Hawaii for a bit same species, bag a GT!

all the video and audio i mix a lot post tho in the editing software. it doesn't come out of the camera looking or sounding like that.
Thanks man! I’ve been stumped on what gen. How’s the 5 audio? Been seeing mixed reviews on the 5 with external mic
We haven’t micd the 5. But all my audio is a 4 mic’d Ethan’s is the 6 mic’d. We use super cheap mics too man. Like $20.
That area is private property. Ya'll are lucky you didn't get caught and fined.
