Another purse trash can idea my mom taught me is, you could use a snack zip-lock Baggie. It's small, flexible, and not bulky. If your purse is smaller. I do however really like your purse organizer look and trash idea! I'll try that as soon as I switch purses and finish my prenatal vitamins ;) Please make more videos about your organizing tips! Although I love the quilted purse organizer you ordered from Etsy, if someone cannot afford that much, they sell purse organizers in places like the Container Store, etc. . . For less,and they provide the same organization. I also like the idea of carrying something for your trash, but one of the other comments mentioned a ziplock bag, and as my purse is too small to carry a bottle like yours, I would probably try that. I have one of the organizers for photos that you used for your coupons, receipts, etc. And I thank you for the great idea of using it that way. I struggle with keeping my purse neat and not overloading it, so all these ideas will be very helpful. TFS!

I LOVE the purse "trash can" idea!! I recently started using a purse organizer that I love! It includes two zipper pockets which I use for makeup/hair accessories, and the other as a first aid (band aids, feminine products, Advil, etc). But I still have a problem with gum wrappers, receipts & coupons. So those two ideas are perfect for me! Thank you!
I ordered a purse organizer from "And sew much more" on Etsy. Mine is navy and white and I love it! I have a larger purse and I needed something to corral all of the items that always scatter all over the purse. The organizer is beautiful, so well made, and I would definitely recommend this Etsy shop to anyone. I made an organizer - I found a five-pocket folder at Dollar Tree (our favorite store, right!) and came up with another category: dining coupons. It's good for eating out/gift cards.

Just want to say I watch all of your organizational videos and they always give me great ideas and inspire me to organize my house. Since I've started watching your channel I have been organizing one room at a time so that it is not so overwhelming. I have been keeping all my pasta jars and baby food jars (and driving my boyfriend a little crazy, lol) and using them all over my house along with the candle jar idea!!! Just wanted to say thank you and that your videos are awesome. :)
I love your tips hun. I actually only own one purse. It's a crossbody travel bag that works great. I also keep a list of gift ideas/gifts bought for my husband and our daughter. That way I can mark them off when I am able to get them. It works perfect because I don't buy the same thing twice. Our daughter is already set for Valentine's Day, Easter, her 9th birthday in June and even stocking stuffers for 2018. That is of course unless I find more which I probably will! ;)

thank you so much for putting this video on! i was thinking about making purse for myself because my current system is just a mess and it's driving me crazy! but i haven't started because i've been trying to configure how i am going to sew the inside of the purse so that i can have the compartments! now i know that i can make an inside mini purse to fit and it'll make the whole project a lot more do-able! and the inside organizer can be transferred to another purse if needed! awesome! tnks!
Yes I agree with you .As I don't 7th anymore pram 8 notice that all tubing landing ih my pockets haha in jackets trousers and bag haha haha and the last are difficult to clean .....da they make them in China ha.... I use this organisers and still bags are too big for me I transition to smaller and I need figure out new system for mom with grow up kids

Great video! I love looking at purses, and how people organize them, even though I am a one-purse woman :) I have no desire for different bags, I just get one purse that goes with everything and keep it for YEARS. The one I have had now for about a year is the Baggalini triple zip bag; it's very small but it holds EVERYTHING I used to carry in my larger backpack style purse. The Baggalini goes cross body so my hands are free, and everything is organized WITHOUT having to use organizers! because the purse itself has just the right amount of pockets (for me, anyway). There's a place for everything! except trash…. i do have to go thru periodically and throw out old grocery lists, etc But I just LOVE LOVE LOVE my baggalini! I'm not getting paid to say that, either --- i just love having a great little purse!
Wow, have just looked up that bag on Amazon, and it's straight onto my wish list. Just had a new bag yesterday, so better use that one for a while first! I am a one-bag woman too (in the UK, "purse" means "wallet") so just had a change yesterday (31 Dec) from one I'd been using from August. I have tried a cheap organiser insert but found it to be a nuisance, I now just keep things together in toiletry bags etc.
I use one of my old gum containers, the 55 ct Orbit gum containers are perfect little trash cans for the purse, especially with the purse organizer. This was a great vid!
Light bulb moment for sure useful tips. Am going to utilize the trash can idea using a small canister that held wipes it has the slotted opening that will allow for one handed trash stashing.
Loved this! 2 years as a mom and I still can't get my diaper bag/purse situation organized! It's the worst feeling when you've dropped child off somewhere and realize your wallet or keys are in the bag. Love the trash can idea! Implementing today!

Great idea. I recently bought a purse organizer also. But unfortunately didn't work well for the purse I take to work everyday because it made it more bulky. I plan on putting it in a satchel purse I have that only has 1 interior pocket. As far as the little purse garbage can, I like the idea but just think that's one more thing to take up space in my bag. Keep the videos coming. Love your ideas.
I also keep a coupon organizer in my purse from the dollar store. I keep freebie coupons in the front (my kids are always getting those Runza and sonic free ice cream tickets, free roller skating, free donuts, etc). Then a slot for receipts, a slot for sticky notes where I stuff my random slips for errands and to dos while I’m out. Punch cards for stores I don’t go to very often and don’t want bulking up my wallet. And a general coupon slot. Mostly for fast food coupons since I shop only at aldi.

Awesome! I tried that system with a scrapbooking organizer I found at WalMart for $5. However, it didn't work out because I use a compact personal organizer for a wallet and it didn't fit. I refuse to go back to "regular" wallets. Now I only purchase a purse if it has enough pockets to house all my must have items. Regardless, I think your video was great! New subscriber!

@Nynners - If you have a Smartphone you can download apps to transfer all your loyalty cards onto your phone. I use one called "Keychain" and have Fresh & Easy, Target, Vons/Safeway, Walgreens, CVS, PetSmart, and Autozone. I've never had a store not be able to take them this way. You just tap on the store, tap again on the card, a bar code comes up & the cashier scans it just like a price bar code.
I used a travel size a small cup for the trash thing o love that thanks so much I would not have thought of using a thing for the little paper in your purse and I put a piece of paper on the outside its a design your own mug thing and put trash can

I'v learnt so much from you. Thank you for all your helpful videos. I am moving into a apartment do you have any ideas for small spaces I want it to feel warm and cozy but no to dark and gloomy ?!?!
At the moment I want to have a separate purse and diaper bag...it just makes sense to me for how my brain works. We'll see if it's practical when the time comes. If not, there is a place in my diaper bag I could stick my orange insert for easy access.
The canister I am thinking of is about the same size as your plastic bottle in the vid...oh and just a thought the response you are getting about the purse trash can idea seems like a super awesome idea that might actually be something that we can all utilize. Maybe an idea to market (thinking etsy) inexpensive possibly decorated with fashionable decorations to match purse style using old large pill bottle or small handi wipe canisters with pop up lid and slotted opening.

A ziplock bag would also work for a trash can in your purse and would take up less space and weigh less.

I've used an empty Mintos gum container...the lid is easy to flip up and small enough for your purse. It worked for me 🙂

Love this! I always have paper clutter in my purse lol I keep a mini accordian file like yours but sometimes the paper still doesn't always make it into the file lol

I have been watch you show as long as I can remember your one of my top fav you tubers you have inspired me to get organized in so many ways. I wasn't taught alot of these things growing up. .. I'v learnt so much from you. Thank you for all your helpful videos. I am moving into a apartment do you have any ideas for small spaces I want it to feel warm and cozy but no to dark and gloomy ?!?!

At the moment I want to have a separate purse and diaper bag...it just makes sense to me for how my brain works. We'll see if it's practical when the time comes. If not, there is a place in my diaper bag I could stick my orange insert for easy access.
I like the idea of keeping receipts separate from your wallet. Good tip!

The canister I am thinking of is about the same size as your plastic bottle in the vid...oh and just a thought the response you are getting about the purse trash can idea seems like a super awesome idea that might actually be something that we can all utilize. Maybe an idea to market (thinking etsy) inexpensive possibly decorated with fashionable decorations to match purse style using old large pill bottle or small handi wipe canisters with pop up lid and slotted opening.
