I find color analysis so interesting. I watch a lot of Monique’s videos. I started when I decided to let my hair go gray. Which was a few months before I had my color analysis done by you. April 2019. By the way, my daughter, the fashionista comments so often, Mom that color looks great on you! Well of course it does because I am wearing my colors! Carol you are great at this! So many women could benefit by tuning in to your channel and using this information.
What a great video showing Monique she is a beautiful woman and definitely you gave the right analysis as a true spring. Those colours make her eyes and skin vibrant. Good job Carol! xo Jackie
I believe this analysis is same for me. This lady's features at 20 are much as mine were at that age. Now I'm 51 and my graying has begun.. Eyes still blue gray like hers and blue gray cool colors just look OFF on me. Greens suit me better than blues, unless the blues are warm turquoise, cobalt blue, royal blue, cornflower... I also find that copper eye shadow looks great on me, and that hints of yellow and orange light me up. This helps me figure out that I can still wear these true spring colors as the gray/white comes in.
What does a spring eye pattern look like versus an autumn one? I looked for a video where you show examples but I can't seem to find it? Very curious as years ago I was labeled a spring in the old 4 season color analysis. I have naturally medium/deep brown hair (it highlights very easily) and brown eyes. I definitely wear spring colors well - my best colors are cream (ecru), kelly green(think St. Pat's day green not emerald) and the softer pastels (not orange). It's hard to tell if I am warm or cool toned. Sometimes I wonder I was mislabeled when people talk about eyes- but black looks horrid and white is "ok" but not nearly as nice as off white. But the whole eye thing is super confusing...
Okay at the start of this I’m going to make a guess before I watch. Either a summer or winter and I’m going to go with winter. Now I watch to see how badly I just embarrassed myself
It was the grey hair that fooled me! I could tell she suited bright colours and the blue eyes and grey hair made me think she was a winter. She definitely looks like a spring in the younger photo though and maybe her undertone has cooled slightly since then.
Hi Carol, why do bright spring fabrics overall look lighter than True Spring here? I thought Bright Spring colors would have the darkest colors among three Springs because of higher contrast?
@@carolbrailey thank you for replying to me. The two that sticks out to me are the darkest blue and brown stripes where they make the whole palette of True Spring (left) look deeper and more intense than those of Bright Spring (right) as you put them side by side. I'm also very surprised the model look good with Silver / Grey hair as a True Spring because I read that True Spring is all warm and can't tolerate any coolness.
The color palettes contain both warm and cool colors! Teal in the autumn palette is not a warm color nor is the turquoise in the Spring palette a warm color. It’s difficult to get a true reading using mixed color palettes.
See, when I was little (my mom was getting it done) I was told I was a warm spring... But with the added knowledge that, though I'm still blonde, I also have autumn in my eyes (golden green) and freckles, that I'm more of a warm autumn. Maybe I'm on a sliding scale between spring and autumn?
Re: ur question in last sentence... that's what Warm palette is... combination of Spring and Autumn colouring. Hard to comment specifically on your situation without 'seeing'... thanks for watching and sharing! 🎨♥️🌟
Just be 'careful'... not sure how old you were... but I would never analyze someone who was not 17 or older. Colouring is still settling pre puberty...ruclips.net/video/hoZJZKIuqOA/видео.html
Carol Brailey would the warm or cool be set before puberty? Hair color so often changes especially for kids who were towheads. But isn’t skin undertone the same?
Colour analysis has 3 components-- undertone, value and intensity. Undertone is likely more settled than value and intensity pre puberty but as part of my training we were told post puberty is always best for analyzing... so I've lived by this 'rule' for years.
yes, it helped to confirm I am a warm spring, and yes, my eye colour is hazel-mixed of green, blue, brown, orange colors-
Wow things that you mentioned in this video help me to solidify what season I am.

I thought she was a porn actress?

Wow. I really “saw” it this time!

When I saw all those warm colors "melting" with her face, I thought: it's a Spring! I love your videos! Greetings from Brazil.
Greetings from Toronto, Canada!... love that you love my videos... yay! 🌟🎨♥️
I love all of Monique's RUclips videos. Interesting about the colour comparisons.

Value and intensity are 2 different aspects. Light is a value comment. Perhaps they appear lighter to you as they are more intense than True Spring?

It would be so nice if now you analyse a cold season person
Greetings from Canada! Check out my virtual colour analysis playlist or in person videos for summer and winter... ♥️🎨🌟

??? ... these colours are as per International Image Institute references (the colour system I use).

Okay I get a minute into this and realize how wrong I am... 😄
The sky blue is not right for her. I see the dress before I see her. But the light yellow is in harmony with her.
