I realized looking at the "Colors of Kindess" fine marker set I also got, that I think the 4ish new colors I found in the pastel set are listed as new on there. I never saw the CoK set in supertips though
Hmmm? I don't have any super tips. How would you rank them. For example, i think the ohuhu waterbased markers perform better than the Tombow, but the tombow have a better range of colors. They have lights, where as the Ohuhu only have mids and darks in my 100 set. I have some crayolas COTW and i think they perform well in the non streaking category once they are dry. I would say the best of all markers. How do you think the ST stack up?
I think Tombow and the Ohuhu's are def better than the Supertips, but the Supertips seem to have a better range in some things like the tan and beige that I use a lot. They seem to streak more than the others, but maybe it is something I am doing wrong in application. They are cheap so I like to use them in my rough paper CBNs, whereas the tombow and Ohuhu go down so smooth and juicy on better paper and I don't want to ruin their tips. I dunno if that helps at all lol! I'm getting to the point I just don't care about streaking anymore, but I do tend to color in circles kind of with them and that helps. Gotta keep the water wet as you move and it can give off a little mottled effect, which if done everywhere on the page, becomes a style.
@@colourfulpyrate try putting them on a palette (or any non porous surface like a ceramic or styrofoam plate, it doesn't have to be anything fancy), and picking them up with a waterbrush. That little bit of water makes it much easier to get them smooth and keep them from grabbing the paper leaving streaks and dark spots. You can also mix them really easily on a palette to create new colors, or dilute them a bit for lighter shades.
Thank you for this video! I am late to the pastel supertips party and was wondering if I needed to add them to my collection… nope!
Great video Meghan!
Thank you!
Awesome! I was wondering!!!❤
