  • Printmaking is an art process that encourages experimentation with textures, colors, and layers. Most of the materials are easy to obtain and use. You can create prints with copy paper and crayons, or paint and a gelatin plate. It can be as simple as fingerprinting with stamp pads or tempera paint. Letting those fingerprints dry and adding details with a pencil or marker makes those marks come alive! Get a bit messier with monoprinting, found object or sponge printing.
