I've just discovered you, and I have no words. I looked it was been a while since your last update and I found your blog and the lastest post and... I was looking at you while you play, the way you move and look or the subtle movements of your shoulder, and... I felt incredibly sad. You made so beautiful and meaningful music that it is just heartbreaking that a cancer could paralyze a huge soul as yours. You are an incredibly valuable human, stay strong and don't let what you have inside die. It's unique.

Through the pure beauty of your music, the accordion is truly no longer a polka instrument. Accordion is now one of the most beautiful instruments I can fathom, the elegant bass tone with the smooth treble combine and swirl, intertwine and mingle, sync and alternate, leave and return, all with such grace that I don't know if any one instrument can surpass it. Sincerely, you are one of the best musicians I've heard.

This song for me is about the magic and happiness the first period of abundance brings to a child and the nostalgia it brings and the notion that though prosperity always comes back, your brighter days are over and that the cycle of life cycles over you, but that it's all right... Life goes on and that's what matters, even if you are not part of it anymore, even if you aren't it's brightest star anymore...
