I dont pull for the Wizards. But these talks are very interesting for Fantasy. The wizards minutes should be watched closely. Could be opportunities for some good eating.

@@ZBirDEveryday not a fantasy guy anymore more Kuzma seems like the only sure fire good pick? maybe Bub, and perhaps Coulilbaly as a stash guy if he gets the post deadline Deni type bump 🤷‍♂️

Interesting show as always. I look forward to it. Good luck to Wizzards. It's sad to think a pro team's main goal is to throw in the towel and charge fans to watch ball games. At least they seem to have a better front office than they've had in a while.

As a Rockets fan I think Wizards are on the right track. The best way to rebuild in the NBA is basically the Process, be extremely bad and stockpile as many picks as you in a short amount of time. I like the new regime put in place they are slowly patching up all the bad moves done by the old front office.
Right now Wizards have a young core of Sarr, Carrington and Coulabaly and should be on track for another top 5 pick in a loaded draft. Thats great progress from the mess they are in a year ago. They have some tradable assets and can use Poole as a tank commander as they wait for his salary to expire.

You said Jordan Poole has had 2 bad years of play. However did you know in his last year in Golden State he averaged 20ppg off the bench and 26ppg and 5 assists when he filled in for Steph Curry when was injured for twenty six games.
In what world is that bad? Yes his efficiency took a hit but when Steph was out he and Klay were able to carry the Warriors and win more games than they lost WITHOUT STEPH!
He also made NBA history that year along with Steph and Klay as being the only trio of guards to each average over 20ppg AND the only the 2nd trio in NBA history to each have more than 200 made 3's.
Poole last year in Golden he scored more accumulated than anyone on the team including Steph and had the 2bd most assists behind only Draymond Green.
The Warriors wouldn't have made the playoffs Poole's last year on the team and as everyone can now see, they didn't make the playoffs last year without him.
I get tired of this narrative that uninformed people want to run with about him.
Last season in Washington he did initially struggle because he was made to play off ball but after the move to PG after the All-star break , his average jumped to 21ppg, 6 assists and 4 rebounds on 43-35-91 shooting splits for the rest of the season. He got better and averaged 23ppg, 8 assists and 4 rebounds over his last 10 games. Again I repeat IN WHAT WORLD IS THAT BAD?!
Many people are invested in painting Jordan Poole as this really bad player but clearly don't know the facts! Like you!

For the Wizards to be on the right track, they have to draft better. Is it fair to say they've been the worst drafting team of the last decade? I just think about all their lottery picks. A bunch have been outright busts and the rest seem like solid role players. Not one has had real star potential. Maybe Coulibaly? I can't quite get there yet.
Also, they traded away their best pick from that time period in Deni Avdija. Can someone explain to me why they did that? How is Avdija not helpful once they finally do land a star? And it's not like Avdija is so good that he stops you from tanking. Why do tanking teams think they need to trade away good young players?

I'm sure there's been a worse drafting team, but I just had an edible and am not willing to go through all 30 teams' draft history. Leave me alone, lol!

@@rome8180 I think they have drafted poorly but this is a new regime which is helpful. it’s also hard to be rosy on Sarr so close to summer league tho i like the bub and bilal picks so far…also we got into the deni stuff you reference here in the episode! thanks as always 🫡
