HEAT rounds explode when they hit fences. I imagine they’re the same even with Fin Stabilisers.

Only reason why I was considering getting M48 was stock APFSDS...
Same with the radkampf, i was like wtf why do i got heat for like 3 rounds until i realised that bullshit...
*Kindly consider the following:*
Revert back the stock ammo change for top tier tanks. Make all of them use APFSDS stock, same goes for lower tier where APCR a worthless shell is stock. Make good ammo for stock tanks.
Reduce the RP cost for modules, its not fun grinding 12-30k per module. Bombers need bombs upgrades, fighters need performance, Jet fighters need AAM, tanks need thermals and better shells.
Max RP should be 10k, Pls lower the RP for modules.
And remove the system to grind 2-3 modules per tier and then we can grind the next module, make its open. Grind whatever module we prefer.
Better bomber gameplay would be nice, too. Right now they're basically flying targets.

@@junyutan2172 maybe they can increase the damage that gunners do cuz thers some bombers that seem like they are shooting toothpicks at the fighters ect. Maybe increase damage taken also, is ther any bombers right now that seem like they take way to long to knock out ?
@@eggmanjr8024 I know they are, but in War Thunder it's gotten ridiculous. Bombers are essentially unplayable at times. Yes they were flying targets in real life, but at least they had the advantage of altitude and fighter escorts. In War Thunder, you get neither. Bombers spawn at 11,000 or 13,000 feet--barely above the fighters--and climb far too slow to have a chance, most of the time. Fighters can outclimb and kill them easily. I've also learned never to expect help from teammates, because they only care about their own kill streaks, so defending a bomber is not even close to a priority for them. Real life bombers--for the most part--were also incredibly durable; they could be missing half their tail, only have half their engines functioning, and be absolutely riddled with bullets, and yet still keep going sometimes. In War Thunder, a single burst from an enemy fighter--not even one with a lot of guns like a P-47--can tear a bomber to pieces. (Trust me, I've had it happen.) This is ESPECIALLY the case after the cannon buff, so playing as a bomber in War Thunder is essentially a joke, because it's nearly impossible to accomplish anything unless you get lucky enough to get to 20,000 feet or if one Good Samaritan on your team actually decides to help you. (Which I've only had happen to me 2 times, and I've done my best to repay their kindness.) Bombers are also pointless as well, because base bombing almost never affects the score in a significant manner anyway. I've been in matches where ALL of the enemy's bases are heavily damaged and/or half of them are destroyed, and my team's are all completely intact, but my team still loses because of ground target losses. (If only ground targets affect the score, why have base bombing in the first place?) So not only are bombers almost impossible to play a lot of the time, but they're also completely pointless. It's not even worth the grind to research and order them anymore, because you likely won't get the chance to drop your payload on an enemy base.
I think what Gaijin should do--at the VERY least--is have bombers spawn at 20,000 feet. Even without fighter escort, it'd at least give them a chance. (This was also the standard height most real WW2 bombers flew at to avoid AAA guns and enemy fighters, so it'd also be ACCURATE.) However, it'd also help if fighters had a motivation to follow and defend bombers. Base Bombing appears to become standard at a certain battle rating, so why not have that matter more than ground targets? Have base bombing actually impact the score significantly, and the more damage one side has to their bases, the more points/tickets they lose. This would make bombers essential, as well as defending them. (You could also add a little reward of Silver Lions--akin to something like "Bomber Rescuer"--that players get if they fly in a certain proximity to a bomber that survives long enough to hit its target. Basically, if they fly near a bomber and it hits an enemy base, they get the reward. Call it "Bomber Escort," or something, I don't know.) This would mean players would WANT to defend allied bombers because they impact the score AND they could get a reward for escorting them. Because let's face it, unless people are in a squad together, they're likely not going to go out of their way to help a teammate if it doesn't give them some kind of reward. That's just typical human nature.
Oh, and don't even get me started on repair costs or repairs in general. (You already did all the grinding to get the darn thing, why do you have to repair a machine that just respawns every battle?!?!?)

Dear snail: Please let the top tier tanks get their deserved APFSDS stock ammo. Clearly, from all the comments on reddit, youtube, and the forums, this is what we as the community want.
it only matters if it goes with something they want. i pointed out that the leopard C2 should be in the british tree or in a commonwealth tree and was told that the community agrees it should be in the german tree and that nations with no tech tree get their vehicles put in the relavant tree.... but that rule only applies to certain things apparently

Gaijin, please revert the recent top-tier changes and give everyone stock APFSDS.
Not just the ones that had it before, but M1A1/A2, Type 90/90(B), ZTZ-96/96A, Leoprad 2A4, Leclerc and AMX-32/40 as well.
Giving everyone stock HEAT-FS is not how you balance top-tier or make it "fair" for everyone. Instead, you're making it unfair for every player who has to play with stock HEAT-FS against spaded tanks, on top of not having Parts, FPE and Thermals already.
You're just increasing the performance gap and making it harder for everyone with absolutely no legitimate reason to do so.

it should be historically accurate. if i have a disadvantage against enemies, i will change how i play. but people like the ones who somehow got gaijin to make this change dont know how to do anything other than point and shoot. hell im surprised RB doesnt have the aim indicator from AB yet.

Sadly my old laptop can no longer run War Thunder. This show makes me feel like I still play, thanks it means a lot.
I think it would be really cool if you guys added a bomber escort game mode. You could have like 50 AI bombers being protected by player-controlled escort fighters and attacked by player controlled by interceptors. Success would be determined by the amount of bombs that hit their target and the amount of bombers that make it back. It would look super cool if it didn’t have player markers and used historical aircraft from a specific battle, like P-51Ds and P-47s protecting B-17s and B-24s from BF-109s and FW-190s, or BF-109s protecting HE-111s from Spitfires and Hurricanes. This is usually only possible in events or custom battles, but I think a lot of players would like playing it as an actual gamemode.

So I'm guessing y'all made this video before changing the ammo since the beginning talks about the super which now doesn't get its dart till grinding. So you might want to redo that whole first section since its all wrong now.
Have you considered adding a spotting function to light aircraft and helicopters similar to that of light tanks? Would it be a good fit for the game to have more light spotter aircraft in the game such as the Fi-156 or the Piper cub family. With a spotting mechanic and some light air to ground weapons like the Po-2 or the "Bazooka Charlie" they could add a new depth to low trier mixed battles especially when you consider these planes had good enough short field performance to make capturing points a real possibility.

I think it’s the MiG 17 for subsonics. I always out accelerate everyone on the AF including Hunters until we take off. The MiGs also have the best low speed acceleration basically across the board once you go past the MiG 9 in the tech tree.
from my experience from between america, germany, russia, italy and britain i would say the me262 then the g91 pre-serie
