Students don't need Android OS to study. All the ed-tech platforms that have android apps have web versions with same functionality and caliber too. A normal Windows/Linux Laptop or a Chromebook would be able to do all these with ease. The important thing is pricing. Currently PrimeBook is selling at a price of 15-17k in Flipkart, in that price segment by adding 3k-5k more we can afford a chromebook which is tried and tested OS with somewhat better processors & after sales service. Take for example the HP Chromebook x360 or the Asus Chromebook Flip (⚠️Not Sponsered. Both sell at around 18-20k). Moreover chromebooks can also run android and linux apps which can be a benefit to the programmers out there.

the processor on the primebook is low powered too. Chromebooks are just more tested thus more stable in experience. In my personal opinion, you should at least invest Rs 35k to get a decent Windows laptop with good specs. Needed a bit patience as system would get slow but I completed my engineering with that. 😂 What they are selling is just at a price difference of 3k to 5k from chromebooks. Now when I have 2.5L laptop from ASUS with Ryzen 9, RTX 3080 18GB graphics, 2 TB Hardrive, 32 GB RAM and most times just manage a fucking Jira and keep making Confluence pages or justv type emails, I wonder why I even bought it 😂.
