    How to block access to hard drive for a specific user Windows 10 : Wrong heading... it is not select any user. It restricts all users in the system.

      right click drive, security, edit, find and add the user, then tick the deny box for everything, apply and okay, done.

      @@user-ic7mq8vx6n Doesn't work, I can still access the drive from the denied account. Windows has so many broken base features, it's baffling.

    It is only good if you "lend laptop to someone to block it" after that if it blocks it. Do the same as you did "TO BLOCK IT" but instead when you get to that "menu" "Enable or Disable" Just click disable and you get back access to your hard drive

    Bro give me a solution ... I am having a problam that , in my pc there are 2 account . One for me and another for my sister. I want to secure my files private. But the my computer shows users as a file.. so she have a way to access my files.. what will i do?? I need to separate my data.. give me a solution

    Hello Leszek, this does not work... You say you gave Julia's account admin rights in order to make all these changes (probably you later revoked those rights). I changed Guest account user to admin but it still has no rights whatsoever. So what am I doing wrong? Why cannot I make these changes from the perspective of existing admin?

    can't even pick the specific drives except the ones the option gives you "A,B,C,D" i have an E drive. and i wouldn't want to rename it.
