Some interesting stuff happening… the most fateful setup so far. I wonder if the Balrog has specific plans for the region or whether he’s taking one day at a time. I wonder what is motivating the necromancy group, are they pursuing a similar goal as our own? Did they have their own mapper? Are the hoping to connect with the Balrog themselves and to what end? Many mysteries.
Hey Daniel, I know you mentioned over on your essay(?) channel you run blind Dwarves. It might be cool if you ran a Dwarf crew at some point to show it off, a-la Thorin and his company!
What actually can kill a Balrog? If I remember correctly they are almost immune to all magical attacks and are huge in stature so physical attacks seemed pointless. Enjoying the story, though.
Any creature that can fight on the fantasy combat table in theory could kill them, but wizards are the ones who have a decent chance. And of course they are magic resistant so the wizard would need to get up close and personal.
My favorite solo actual play. I enjoy these more than the adventure write ups. I like seeing the reaction to the dice rolls.
Thanks!
If I may ask, what are adventure write ups and where can I find some?
@@tipaire9261 I would define adventure write ups as summaries of the adventure from. Could be from the prespective of the player(s) or the DM.
@@djholland7 ah, ok thanks. I thought they may be books I was missing out on.
The Big Bad knows they're coming?! Good luck Rangers, you're going to need it. You're going to need a LOT of it!
That is the truth
Yes! I'm finally here early! So happy to see this new chapter of The Song of The Mapper!
Welcome early bird!
Thank you for your interesting video
Thanks for watching!

For sure - the openness of the emerging story is fun.

That would be interesting- an entire crew would be fairly helpless overland. Could be a challenge.
@@BanditsKeepActualPlay Well, they could always have a trusty wizard and a reluctant -hobbit- halfling with them...

@@BanditsKeepActualPlay Said wizard would have to also be incredibly brave!
