Aisha mam credentialing Process needs to be done when we r in india bcoz there r so many documents which we need to collect from our respective universities and even if it.s not approved then we. Have to do some online courses so as per my view it.s better to do it from india and even it is time consuming ( 6 mnths )

And PTA karne ke baad PCE exam dena compulsory nahi hai i think, I'm not sure. Even i feel that we should do some other course but ultimately it depends on personal goals & preferences.

Hi, The OTA PTA diploma is not at all necessary- it’s just that many prefer this course to apply for student visa. The course is very similar to PT field.

maam is it will make a difference if we choose a post secondary diploma instead of post graduate diploma in our CRS score or getting pr? As OTA/PTA diploma is a post secondary diploma.
The only difference in terms of points will be if you take a 1 year program versus a 2 year program as that is one of the questions while submitting your express entry profile. However there is no such question about post secondary or post graduate diploma.

There are no requirements except a proof of completion of your bachelors degree and/or relevant experience. You can come and directly work as a PTA in a clinic or retirement/ long term care home/ nursing home. However to work in a hospital you need to have a PTA diploma from a Canadian college.

Your visa won't get rejected but OT/PTA courses will fetch low points for PR. After graduation if you will go for grad cert courses that would be best.
