Hello, Can yoga fix bad posture? Is yoga same as stretching only breathing techniques are different? Is yoga combination of mobility and stretching or do i have to make a separate mobility routine?(yoga for stretching and mobility routine for mobility) And if i have bad posture then i should focus on mobility or on stretching most(i am bad at both)or should focus on both?
We have a whole playlist for posture/ergonomics related videos. this video might help, but make sure u check the rest out too, even though the title might not fits I’m sure there are exercises and tips that will still be helpful for you :) good luck
Thank you so much, Melanie! I wish I had known about building strength, and especially core strength. My shoulders and wrist suffered a lot! I decided this semester to register for strengthening build-up class, and it is one of the best decisions in my life. The course has helped my overall body muscles, and I can do many exercises that I was unable to perform before August! It is not about how it looks, but how it feels! It is very important to dominate the basics/foundations. Otherwise, structural and functional damage can be permanent.
I am not too sure …I really just googled wrist range of motion I’m not really looking at the content but rather an explanation of the range of what I’m talking about. To better explain my point :)
Mmmm good questions that’s a tricky one to self diagnose :) there will be sign and symptoms that we can assess to differentiate the origin of pain but unfortunately it’s hard to self diagnose so the best is to check with a physio prior to trying these exercises 🥰

The gymnastics photo looked familiar. Was it from Shift Movement Science?

@@MelThePhysio ah. I was wondering if you had discovered the amazing Dave Tilley. He’s a DPT in the States who specializes in gymnasts
How do we know if our wrist is functional or structural limitation before proceeding with your advice?
