NOOO I don't wanna be broke anymore. I thought I am done with headphones after getting Atticus then I just have to go and listen to Atrium Closed in Zebra Wood and now I have one Atrium Closed in Wenge Wood in order. 😭 I would like to hear your comparison between this and Atrium Closed, perhaps it is in the other Caldera Closed video?
I don’t know….. I haven’t spent enough time with each version to completely quantify my preferences but the only closed back version of ZMF headphones that I prefer over the open is the Atrium Closed. Otherwise, I’ve always preferred the open versions. I think that it’s the better soundstage that does it for me.
I want to get one open and one closed. Do you think closed Atrium and open Caldera would be good. Strong bass but not exaggerated, and accurate detail mids and highs. What would you choose for your open and closed? Atrium or Caldera
On your recommendation, I’m rocking the ZMF Bokeh with the DX260. I’m wondering if you could tell me the following: 1) Can the DX260 drive the Caldera (since you mention you’re traveling with it) 2) Do you find the Caldera more comfortable to wear than the Bokeh? I tested out some ZMF headphones and didn’t notice any comfort issues, however the Bokeh seems to be giving me a hot spot issue on the top of my head (coming form a bald guy). Thanks!
I should add that I’m going to review the headband bending videos Zach made as my Bokeh’s are used. Hopefully this resolved the middle headband issue I’m having.
Ordered mine four weeks ago and can’t wait for it to be made and shipped. Super excited!
Man now that is what I always wanted to hear... aesthetics does matter

Caldera Closed vs Caldera Open? If you could only choose one. Which has the more ‘fun’ sound?

I’d love to have it cause I KNOW I’d love it. ☺️
