I just unlocked bombardier and used like 8 crafts to take down this weeks war factory, did take a while to take the shield down but they are strength in numbers
It depends. Basically bombardiers can also outrange sniper towers/mortars/ boom cannons. But the AI isn't polished at all, since sometimes they even go under cannon fire. And lazotrons/rainmakers/critter launchers are too slow and deal less damage. You can't attack efficiently on high level ops with these troops. Best super troop for dealing damage is watermelon bombardier, coupled with scorchers. Incinerators are also pretty good at taking down heavily defended bases.

Rain Makers and Lazortrons and Critter Laucher can stay very far away and do better then Bombardiers since they can avoid Boom Cannons

I don't really think they're that strong to be honest, they are pretty fun to play though!
