- This is a Long-term review of a 1956 Ford country sedan station wagon that has been in my family since the 1960s. My dad bought this classic 1956 Ford station wagon to use for hauling the family around and going on vacations camping all across America. We had a great time in this old 1956 Ford station wagon, and it is still running strong after all these years. This 1956 Ford country sedan station wagon was built in Long Beach California, It has the 292 cubic inch Thunderbird V-8 engine that makes around 200 horsepower.

My parents bought one that same color when it was new in 1956. I had my first driving lesson in it ten years later. I went all over the world, my dad worked for the US government and they paid to transport it wherever he was assigned. They abandoned it in Laos in 1969, it's probably still running.
Thank you Great video I am redoing one of these now, I should have started with a better car but I thought it was a Deal at the time. Lots of work and money but I can't wait to drive it. Thanks again!
Wow.... So good too see your family holding on to the old cars.... You were definitely conceived in this one. A shaggin wagon if I ever saw one.
